It's probably very specific to the team, but wondered if there are some general tips to make the most of the scout assignments. I'm trying to avoid searching for players and instead only rely on players suggested via the scouts. Thanks!

Scouts are extremely helpful. I have 3 of different speciality

Youth

Searches for young regens and wonderkids.Screenshot_2023-03-18-01-47-19-347_com_sega.soccer.eleven.thumb.png.da5b1e5cdc61fca629e4a5a74a80e0a8.png

1st Team

For general scouting of high values players

Bargain Hunter (replaced by tactical later)

Useful for searching for played available for lower than market prices. Once I have enough money I replace him with tactical one to find playes of specific position, role, attribute.

Region

I always have youth scout in South America around 15 days before transfer window opens. It's my favorite region to buy kids and sell them for profit.

Finding cheap ones is hard in Europe and uk region. Although rarely there are sometimes few hidden gems in eastern Europe.

North America isn't my favourite. But I scout it 3-4 times a season with more hope than belief.

Africa and Middle East doesn't give me many 5* player. But there are decent gens 3"-4.5* PA which are available for cheap.

Asia is 1-2 times a year is a formality, just in case there's some good japanese kid.

I would recommend having 1 scout in S.America.

Another one with age group of 16-21.

And last one wherever.

Hi @TheShane what's most important in scout selection, when I need to add one in my staff? Aptitude or Badge? Thanks

I prefer badges. Badges denote quality and aptitude denotes ability to become/remain gold.

When looking for national players I select the nationality and have a scout search everywhere. And another scout in that particular country/area.

For clubs, it depends on what I want.

Thanks for reply! So, if I have a scout with natural aptitude and bronze badge and I promote him to the silver badge, he improves his performance?

A useful filter is the one about the language.

In january market particularly, if you want a player integrating quickly with the team better if he has at least a base comprehension of the local tongue.
