We see people doing Scotland countless times. Very good indeed don't get me wrong. But would LOVE to see somebody start with a level 6 player (north or south) score in every league possible and gets 1000 goals or more. Who is brave enough for this title of the king of FM . It sure would put the men above the boys. I'm sure 1 of you would accept this almighty challenge! Ovs would get harder the leagues you climb. Go on, let's see how you really get on. I couldn't do it, can you?

Ovs rules apply

No reloading

No editor

No sugar daddy

No cheating

Score in every league (start either north or south)

Can change teams the higher you progress up the leagues

Nice idea 👍

The trick / added complexity here seems to be that:

  • you need a young player who is bad enough (low reputation) to play in England’s 6th level leagues…
  • … but with high enough potential / right attributes to score regularly in the top league later on 🤔

Any suggestions?!

That's what I thought, would be a very interesting challenge to say the least, see if anybody could actually do it. Might be a couple of gems in those 2 leagues

Had a quick look earlier today - I think you’d want to pick one of these 5 clubs …

Each has different expectations + budgets, but they all have one thing in common …

… they all have players worth +£150k (in total) who you could sell / part-exchange to bring in your chosen goal-scorer & supporting players.

Spoiler

Bet some of those players would be a one you could go with, get the correct staff in, even if you get your striker up to say 15 finishing, you could have a good go at this, progress up the leagues, or even stay with the same club, depending on the money situation. Would be a challenge and a half and to any man, they would be the king of FM

The way I read the challenge was that the 1000 goals is team goals rather than individual goals?

Edit: Never mind. I can't read apparently.

The problem with picking one of these strikers ego already exist at these clubs is that they’re already a bit older (20-23):

  • Ebbsfleret’s four STs = 27-28 years old
  • Kings Lynn £70k ST = 23 years old
  • Dover’s +£100k AMR = 20 years old
  • Dulwich’s £70k ST = 22 years old
  • Hemel’s £95k ST = 20 years old

For a 1k goal challenge - is it better to have a 16-17 year old ?!

I'd say yeah to that from 16 to say 21/22 would be your best bet
