Help Need help with changes.txt

So I'm trying to swap teams to different division but its not going well. Example:

"CLUB" "Guiseley" "Vanarama National League North" "Guiseley" "Guiseley" "" ""

"CLUB" "Chester" "English Northern Premier League Premier Division" "Chester" "Chester" "" ""

I'm trying to swap Chester with guiseley (that club can be found by other in England) but it doesn't work. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you in advance!😁

Firstly I guess Guiseley + Chester are NOT the clubs full name. You’ll need to use the exact full name for it to work.

Secondly, I couldn’t get clubs to switch leagues to work myself. I could get players to switch clubs, I could rename clubs, but could put them in different leagues. No idea why not.

Could you PM me what you used for switch league? I am interested why it does not work.

Did you get this to work?

I can switch teams easily I have a Changes.txt with the 2023/2024 Promotion/Relegation (English Pyramid).

Although i'm unable to change teams that don't play in a playable league.

Often the problem can be fixed by adding an extra "" in the middle.

There's a generator here that works really well, though if you are switching clubs you have to add an ""
