Tactics 134 Games No Lose/Draw. Win Master

Recommended Posts

So, a couple of hours ago I started a chat on whether I'm the greatest ever coach.

I was requested to share my tactics, and here they are.

Now before we get started I'll have to admit that for this time work your squad must have the following:

√High Morale

√High creativity

√A top squad.

√Relatively young squad (average age - 23 to 26 years.

I have to admit, do not use relationships. They'll not help you.

Now here's the tactic itself.

Screenshot_20230809-183836.thumb.png.0621ea40e635213066fefdecc20eedfe.png

It is the basic 4-1-2-2-1. And as I said earlier the squad is relatively young, and also a top squad (Haaland, Foden, Vinicius Junior, Tchouameni, Rice, Gvardiol...etc)

The main reason why you should have young and top players is because this tactic involves high creativity (advanced & roaming playmaker, inverted wingers) and young player tend to be highly creative, while older players have experience.

Don't change anything here. Just use them the way they are.

You can change the tackling from normal to cautious. Touch nothing else.

Now the final third is everything. You'll need a top striker, Haaland or Martinez. You can change the keeper distribution to what you desire.

Team talk: use demanding for most of the time.

Bye👋🏽

Genuine question for you @Scandi Flick - how much of your success is due to having the league’s best team, and how much is due to your tactic? Am interested to reread your thoughts 🙂

Nice tactic 👍 What I like about it:

Spoiler
  • IWBs - both should move inside + forward next to the DMC, creating good passing options.
  • IWs - both drift more centrally than IFs
  • 41221 - this formation is pretty solid defensively, especially as you have a designated defensive midfielder (the DMC).
  • Non Aerial - this tactic won’t rely on corners / crosses + headed goals, so you should be able to use a low-aerial ST.

Some suggestions + questions:

Spoiler

⁉️ Build up play - in possession, there’s rarely anyone in the MC positions:

  • with the front 5 in the AM/F positions, and the back 5 in the D/DM positions.
  • this means there can be a big distance between these two groups, so it may be sometimes difficult to build out from the back.
  • it relies on the RP or an IWB to do something different, moving into a MC position to connect the front + back.
  • No suggested solutions.

⁉️ RP + AP combo - both roles want to move into that central AMC position behind the striker.

  • sometimes they’ll be on-top of each other,
  • so they can both be marked by one opposition player, which limits your passing options.
  • Suggest to test changing the RP to a B2B

⁉️ High Line - I guess you need fast DCs with high mentals, as there is a high line, all over pressing and an offside trap.

  • Otherwise they’ll get caught out for an easy opposition 1-on-1 with your keeper …
  • … particularly vs any clinical speedy opposition wide players who cut inside like Salah.
  • Suggest to have BPDs with high pace, positioning + decisions.

What do you think? 🙂

You have an over powered team

You want to know what I do with such teams? I go on holidays so I can quickly run down 10 seasons and unlock the PLACE ON THE BOARD unlockable

Tactic looks solid and will work with top teams who've got players with all round high stats for sure.

It has massively triggered me though that you've posted a picture with Foden and Vini Jr on the wrong sides, Rice as an AP (?) and Gvardiol on his weak foot side 😂.

Maybe it still working despite all that proves there's something to it.

Would be really intrigued to see it used with a sub-elite team like a Dortmund or a Spurs.

Using players in their opposite positions on the pitch is advantageous because it adds unpredictability, enhances versatility, maximizes player strengths, fosters team chemistry, and creates strategic advantages, ultimately giving the team an edge in matches.

You need a strong team to win every single game like me. Try this tactic with a small team...i bet it won't work fluently

Your experiment is interesting.

But remembering where it all started from, I think you must decide your goal:

for this one, your choices are perfectly logical :

The only change I would have made is to choose a more offensive disposition (you can with that kind of players).

On contrary, if your goal is :

I think you have to start with different initial conditions like the ones used in this challenge for example:

GOAT manager challenge

In the same way, if you mean GOAT in tactics creation, I think you must prove it works in the same way (more or less, obviously) in different team contexts (top flight, medium, poor)

LoL, I once got 197 wins in a row (and 839 games without losing), without reloading... Am I the best ever? Nope, I did it with an overpowered team in China. The game is broken and you can do all sorts of crazy stuff if you know how.

LoL, I don't think I even knew at the time!! It was only later I looked at the numbers.

Regardless of the team strength pictured here, a 41221 is really solid defensively. I'm sure that with players like Haaland up top it's a killer tactic.
