Tactics I dont like buildup

WIP

Just long passing, dribbling, crossing and heading.

 

1-6 points ahead of the second team, first at Ehime: no new players, JL3 victory.

2nd at JL2: currently at 3rd with 3 wins and 2 draws.

Although I still have time to test this strategy, so far it has worked for me. Particularly considering that the club that was recently promoted is competing at JL2.

Edit1: testing at Asan, 3rd ss at KL1, competing for 1st place, try deep line and all over, instead of playing 42121, i want midfield to be more active and can drew foul at the opponent field to prevent counter so i change to 41221 with 2 B2B with Anchor at the deepest of midfielder => result: after 35 match, i reach 1st place for the first time, win agaisnt rival and push them down to 2nd place

Nice! I’ve never managed to get a long ball tactic to work in FMM (only in the full FM game) so would love to see more about this …

I remember that in CM there's a strong tactic with long passes, but what differentiated it was that there was the instruction to cross by line. You could score more than 5 goals many times with it. But in FMM there isn't even this specific instruction unfortunately.

I tried recriate this one in FMM without sucess. Basically in Championship Manager was a 4-2-3-1 CM, with long pass, fast tempo, cross by line and high line.

In FMM probably the similar roles are:

           GK

FB    LD  LD    FB

     -- -- -- -- -- -- --

        CM  CM

W        AM       W

            TM

Hi,

Great tactic! I used something very similar in the J3 league and won promotion with 94 points. I used the exact same tactical instructions, but I used the asymmetric formation rather than a 4-1-2-2-1 (you could argue it is a variant). This save was on the update as well.

One question though - What do you change tactically if you are trying to hold onto a lead in the second half? I have not found an effective way of doing this so far.

Have you tried my ‘park the bus’ defensive 41410 ? Specifically designed to avoid conceding late goals. The 2nd variant in the post below perhaps best matches this style 🙂

I didnt change anything at late game tho, i pray god instead lmao
