Tactics 4-2-3-1 Gegenpress

On my 3rd season I wanted to try something new.Wanted to score more goals So opted for this tactic.Bought Fofana for 9m(his value dropped to 6m) and Vlahovic for free.Scored 2-3 goals every match.Almost won everything..Lost final to Barca on pens.

I use this kind of tactic, also with Real Madrid. I've found it weird that my 4231 works better with calmer Control + Slow tempo, rather than excessive setups. While in reality, I would like them to play really offensive.

Plus, I still can't understand how to work with IFs in this game. I think they're too similar to wingers than forwards, unlike in original version where IFs knew that their job is to share the load of scoring responsibility with the CF. I've seen some tips, that there are some coding that made IFs in FL/FR slots work so much better than their more realistic positions (AML/AMR). So, I put them there. The 4231, now looks more like 4213.

Ive tried with Brighton, did pretty well. Won the Europe league and finish second in the premier League. Forgot the images

Love this tactic, but my AP performance wasn't good, so I changed it to T, and boom scoring 2 digits in goals and assists every season.

The tactic worked with nigerian national team, we won  afcon, cutting through other teams the way hot 'knife cits through margarine'

wanted to try this tactic with the Spanish national team, but I concede goals too easily with this tactic, and I can't understand why. Anyway, I managed to get out of the group. If I win the cup, I'll post a message here.

Have you watched the goal highlights? If yes, you should be able to see some common patterns.

As an example - if you don’t have very fast DCs, then with a high line the opposition could use through balls / long balls behind your defense to get lots of easy 1:1s vs your GK

With this tactic, I scored 5 goals against Germany and lost 1-0 to Portugal in the World Cup quarter-finals and was expelled from the Spanish national team.

Pick your brains?? ... part of a wingback role according to the tactical role description is to overlap so with the OP attacking instructions "look for overlap" does it negate it, does it do it anyway, is it overkill?
