iScout Wonder Kids out of list

During my study of the player database, I found some wonder kids which has not been listed in the "Wonderkids List".

These kids are found in database of 15.0.2 and load nations with England, German, France, Spain, Italy.

Just to check something … none of these 3 have the label ‘wonderkid’ … instead have a label like ‘promising goalkeeper’, where ‘promising …’ means one level below wonderkid.

Have I misunderstood something here - as while all three seem to be relatively high potential, none of these seem to be wonderkids … ?

Their reputation and CA are too low, world reputation less than 1000. CA less than 100. Some famous wonderkids has world reputation. 
Having high PA is random due to the transition from FM database to FMM database. 

If they increase their CA and reputation, the description may change.

Do you mean 15.0.3 (which was released a couple of days ago)?  EDIT: I got this this wrong and 15.0.2 had database version 2404.

For me anyway on Android, 15.0.1 and 15.0.2 had database version 2403. Those 4 players had much lower PA in that, but they got an upgrade in database version 2404 (which came with 15.0.3).

From a quick look, I also found these two:

There's probably a fair bit of movement up and down with the players on the Wonderkid list too.

For example, Emre Tezgel had a PA of 133 in db2403 and has had a nice improvement to 153 in db2404 - but he was already on the Wonderkid list, it's just he's actually worth using now!  

There's a fair bit of variability with these things, because the FMM database is generated from the FM one - but when they generate it seems to apply a randomness to the PA of young players (just like at the start of a save). So Tezgel would have been pretty good in the FM database (and therefore on the wonderkid list), but had bad RNG when db2403 was created, and better RNG when db2404 was created. 

These new players that weren't on the wonderkid list might just have had good RNG for db2404, but then again they may have had an actual adjustment upwards. McKenna being 19 points up might just be RNG (and he might lose it next time). Ap Sion being 45 points up is probably manual adjustment. But who knows! We'll have to wait and see what the next version of the database brings...

Yes. Agree with you. These kids get high PA randomly  by  generate DB from FM. So the version of database is important. For the version of database I used, I will check later.

Hmm, I went back and checked the APK for 15.0.2 and sure enough db_archive_2404.fmf was there. Not sure how I missed it as I went looking for it, and it's right there, but I didn't see it.

So... We now have 15.1.0 and db version 2405! 

Callan McKenna hung on to his new status (actually was +2 on PA), but the others tanked (Tim Ap Sion -33, Justin Obikwu -55, Juan Pablo Sanchez Manrique -44). Of the other 2 I found, Reece Clairmont dipped back to where he was before, while Álex Pérez only dipped -5 so might be still worth a shout.

The Zlatan is back!! (Not the sort of surprise you meant, but how can you beat Zlatan being in the game!) 😀

It's a bit weird though. I saw him in the DB, so searched for him in game and couldn't find him. Then I searched for him in the Staff search and found him, but he doesn't have any coaching details, just player ones. You can offer him a contract (he's a free agent), but he won't accept (at least when I was Inter). After that I went back to player search he showed up (despite filters being exactly the same as when he didn't show up 2 minutes before).

So... something janky going on, but he's there (but probably can't be signed).
