Tactics Franky's LIVERPOOL Tactic

NOTE: Tactic can be downloaded by clicking on the download link just underneath the screenshots below........ then export a current tactic from within the game and your phone/tablet will create a new folder, after which you just copy and paste the downloaded tactic into that folder and you will have it in your game.

THE TACTIC....... This is a tactic based on Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool team of the past few seasons so you've got your flying wing backs, two box to box midfielders with one holding, a striker that gets the best out of the inside forwards plus lots of control and possession. You'll need a defensively strong centre mid and wing backs with decent pace, dribbling and especially crossing ability. A pacy striker is preferable but one who's good in the air can also do well due to the amount of crosses fired in by the wing backs. Fast centre backs are also preferred due to the high defensive line. Have your midfielders train 'shooting' as all three will be getting plenty of shots off.

TACTIC USAGE...... It's a 4-3-3 'plug and play' tactic so no complicated instructions. Only one change you need to make and that is to use the 'time wasting' option if you are satisfied with the score. Defensive and attacking set pieces are tweaked so to get the best out of the tactic, you'll have to download it from the link below. The wing back role is extremely demanding so once their condition drops below 80% in the second half, sub them off. Same applies to your attackers and midfielders. You can only make 5 subs so keep an eye on their condition after the 70 minute mark and sub off the ones that are most tired. Corners should be inswinging only unless you have a demon corner taker.

RESULTS...... Will update later but initial results are fantastic with a newly promoted Wycombe team that is tipped to battle relegation.

PS....... The tactic is an upgrade on my Supreme tactic.

SEASON UPDATE....... 19 games into a Championship season with newly promoted Wycombe (tipped to battle relegation) and a top of the table clash with Watford who have by far the best defensive record in the league and are on the same points as us turned out like this........

Yes it does so lots of corners (see screenshot below). The odd game we do lose is usually one of these where the game just screws you over........

I'm trying to adf this to my game, but just cant figure it out.

I exported a tactic and created a folder. Copied this tactic to the folder.

But no matter what I do, I cannot import it. It simply does not show up in-game, only the tactics I export appear.

Any suggestions?

Just copy all the player roles and  instructions from the screenshots straight into the game. No need to download the tactic.

You have a whole team of loanees? I’m guessing your team is overpowered for the league due to this. How does the tactic do with your actual squad?

Tactic is great at home with Liverpool, but I struggle to win away games in the league. Very solid defensively. Have only conceded 2 goals against Chelsea after my wb got dismissed and two goals to City (Haaland scoring his 12th and 13th of the season on matchday 6...)

I did turn off the shoot on sight, because there is no point in having 30 shots, but only 8 on target.

But its not getting the best out of Mo Salah

I sold all my players in order to afford the wages of the loan players 😂. The way I play the game with Wycombe is to get rid of the loan restrictions in order to get from L1 to the Prem in successive seasons, then re-enable the restrictions and try and build a team to compete in the Prem. Can't be faffing about for multiple seasons in L1/Championship as I don't have the patience for that.

You need an AF with high creativity in order to get the best out of your inside forwards. As for turning off 'shoot on sight', there are pros and cons but overall I find it really doesn't make any significant difference.
