Help In game editor not saving team name abbreviations

I recently bought the in game editor for FMM23 and I'm noticing that the team name abbreviations I changed go back to normal every time I exit the game. Does anyone know a solution? Surely that isn't meant to be intentional.

Found the solution for anyone curious. You have to edit one of the other options first (long or short name) and then edit the abbreviation and save it. You can change the long or short name back to what you want after that and the abbreviation stays edited.
