In the 2023 season, they conceded the fewest goals, showcasing their solid defensive capabilities.

Stadium & Training Facility Information

Cavalry FC boasts an impressive stadium and top-notch training facilities. The picturesque Spruce Meadows provides an excellent home ground for the team, with a capacity of 6,000 and a quality playing surface. Additionally, the club's training facilities are among the best in the Canadian Premier League, providing an ideal environment for player development.

Staff Members

While the coaching and support staff at Cavalry FC are currently at full capacity, there is room for improvement in terms of quality. However, the existing staff members are dedicated and hardworking, and with the right additions, the team can further enhance its coaching and support capabilities. I have delegated training responsibilities to the Assistant Manager, allowing me to focus on other aspects of team management. Moreover, the club's finances are very secure, providing a strong foundation for future growth.

Squad Changes

During my tenure as manager, several signings and departures have been made to improve the squad. We have brought in promising young talents and experienced players to bolster our ranks while also allowing some players to move on to new opportunities. These changes aim to strengthen the team and enhance our competitiveness in the league.

Tactic Used

I have implemented a tactical approach inspired by FC Barcelona's 2010-2011 season, utilizing a 4-1-2-3 formation with three pressing forwards upfront. This attacking style of play aims to control possession and create scoring opportunities while pressing high up the pitch to disrupt the opposition's build-up play.

The Results

Our efforts have paid off as we clinched the Canadian Premier League title, showcasing the team's progress and determination. However, our journey in the Amway Canadian Championship was cut short in the qualifying round. Despite this setback, we remain focused on improving and aiming for greater success in the upcoming seasons.
