Career Lamine Yamal split 3.5kc!✅ G-1782, A-1768 (S19)

As the title suggests. I'm going to attempt a split 3kc. That's 1500 goals and 1500 assists for one player over the course of an epic career. 😳

It's another career inspired, or should I say, I was challenged to complete by my mucker, @Rob. He's always throwing challenges at me and this one tickled my fancy. I started one on last year's version but ran out of time. I was using Arda Guler at Rangers and it was going very well so assuming the tactic still works this might be achievable. 🤷

 

***  I'll be using international goals towards the total as long as I get the job, of course. I'll also be using International assists. They are totalled at the end of every season anyway so, why not?! If anyone has an issue or doesn't agree with this then feel free not to follow along. 👍 ***

 

So, the club I'll be using for this challenge;

A little bit of a cop out but if I'm going to get near this target then I need the best resources possible and City have the absolute best starting point. The League is more difficult than other options but City are that good it shouldn't be much of an issue. Hopefully.

The best wonderkid in the game this year, of course. Choosing a player from a top nation is also important for when/if international management comes.

Thank you, Sir. He was the only choice really. I researched a few players but they were poor at PK's or free kicks. He's not brilliant at either but average at both so I can deal with that.

Good luck Dai! Great to see other Leagues being used! What a player to start with as well,a unbelievably great on this edition. How much did you manage to buy him for?

Lots of wheeling and dealing. A mixture of adding quality for short term and some gems for later in the save.

A few of the outgoings were at the end of the season. Nunes and Phillips played well for me when they were needed which bumped their prices up nicely.

Decent season. I'm conceding A LOT of goals. This wasn't the case using this formation on last year's game so obviously something is nerfed it slightly. Might dabble about with things going forward.

Season 2

So, after a dismal display at the Euro's the Spain job became available. I jumped right on it. It took a while for a reply which was a concern....

What a amazing price to get such a talent! Amazing 2 seasons their buddy. Just caught up with this, smashing through the seasons, I'm pretty damn sure you will hit your target, the way he's going. Awesome 👌 👏

What an amazing start.

If you keep the Yamal + Haaland partnership - I wonder if you'll end up with a split 3k (Yamal) together with X goals + Y assists for Haaland ?!? (2k goals + 1k assists?!) Crazy numbers so far.

And congrats on getting the Spain job - no worries indeed! 😄

Very good score !!! And how you manage to play him all the games ???!!! Without rest may be u play him as an IF !! my young strikers never play more than 45 games with 100% stamina!!!

It's a best start I have ever seen on vibe !!! With 16 years old striker not just amazing it's a record breaking if any !!!

His stamina is a real concern. I'm struggling to improve it. He's training as a B2B now to try and boost it. It may hinder his improvements in other areas but I'm going to get nowhere without stamina.

He has "very rarely injured" on his coach report which is always an indication to me that I can risk him playing when not fully 100%, stamina wise. 

When doing these challenges I always take my target players off after 60 minutes, no matter what. With his stamina issues I'm replacing him at  50-55 mins or even half time EVERY match. Luckily, he's doing his damage in the little time he's on the pitch.

He plays one position and only that position. Not an IF or a striker.

U should change coaching staff for 1 season try to bring in atleast 2 fitness coach and 3 general coaches!!! It will not effect progress of any players and 3 general coaches is enough to boost stamina and rest attributes !!! U don't need to train him as bbm !!!

I know. It doesn't seem to stop him. It's the penalties that annoy me. His conversion rate is just over 50%, which is frustrating.

Couple of big deals. Grealish exits, mainly because I can't stand him IRL (😂).
