Help Constantly offside

One of my youngsters is offside all the time. He gets so many goals disallowed and is offside 10+ times per match. His stats are good, good movement, good decision making. Am I missing something? I’ve tried him as AF, P, Treq and all the same.

Try him as a PF or DLF...... he'll drop deep so less chance of getting caught offside, hold the ball up and get others into the game. His stats are perfect for those roles, especially strength. Train his creativity as that's the only thing lacking. Get that up to 12+ and he'll become a demon striker.

That doesn't work for my system unfortunately.

Was control but moved to attacking and that's helped a bit.

 

My team overview also said that we can't see the obvious pass so maybe the rest of the team were letting him down by passing too late with his runs. This season he's been better at least as the team also got better.

I have constant problems with offside... even players with good off ball skills, anticipation etc.. even playing Deep Forward Support role... still they always go offside. I think the game is not tuned properly as far as offside goes. I even see people offside off goalie kicks, and immediately after a corner!! There should be some coaching I could do to help players avoid it.. even at the expense of fewer chances, but nothing.
