I highly recommend that u put the keeper to a sweeper keeper so that when the defence gets beaten by through balls the keeper can sweep the ball

Great little tactic, had fun with this... worked with a spurs and inter milan save ... GG's

Did you change something specific? it's kind of weird cause all my teams in the league are dominant, tried it with Canada, and an inter team who just 3-Peated the UCL and the League, and I also tried it with Liverpool. It failed with all, did you just follow the instructions?

Followed it just as the OP says ... worked absolutely fine

Hey, I've tried the tactic and I have a good side, I'm currently using Inter in 2029 and they've 3-Peated both the UCL, the League Cup, and the League, and I've been conceding alot and my players can't seem to score goals, tried it with Canada and it's the same issue, do you mind sending the tactic as a file? I think I might be missing something or maybe the instructions are different?

Updated the post, Refer to section 4 for more instructions. Are you at least creating chances?

I started to test it with Borrusia Dortmund in my first year with the team and I beat Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions 2x0 in the first leg, It's a well-crafted tactic, my thanks to the creator

Happy that it’s worked for you! Just updated this post, Refer to section 4 to get set piece details as well!👍

I believe that's because the set pieces will be set up too, and as the poster said, they're master to this tactic.

Updated the post, Refer to section 4 for set pieces.

Man what If I move the two centre backs to full backs and I put them on man marking

Tested this in development and it did not work. This tactic requires defenders to remain as stationary as possible. FBs do not allow this.

I’ve had bad experiences with SK’s and tested this as well. SK’s usually play the ball long under zero pressure and exhibit poor positioning. This has an adverse effect on the tactic. Whereas regular GK will hold the ball longer, draw in the press, and then distribute long to stretch the opposition. Also, regular GK will occasionally build up through the CB’s if appropriate.

Thanks for updating the post! And yes it seems to have gotten a bit better now suddenly (still haven't put the instructions) I even won a world cup, I think it just comes down to the defence, where I scored 4 against spurs in the opening day and spurs got 4 to tie the match up.

Happy to hear there’s some improvement. It’s a tactic that gets better with time. For defence, there’s some small details I’d advise. Firstly, play your fastest cbs out wide. They don’t need to be rapid, but 13+ pace is ideal. If possible, play right footed cb on right side and left footed on left. Stats to focus on in recruitment for cbs: aerial, pace, movement and tackling.

Do u use overload mentality throughput the match or do u change it up sometimes. Your help wpuld be appreciated.

Literally the only thing I've changed is put my GK as a sweeper keeper, other wise all is the same

Hey, I’ve used the tactic for a few months now. Here’s the table for my most recent completed season:

Only 11 conceded. Which defenders did you use. Did u modify the defense settings. I always conceded more than 40 goals per season. What are your assists and goals chart like

How about midfielders and attackers. Any key attributes?

What do you recommend for the set piece takers? The ones with the highest rating / amount of stars (do left / right foot matter) ?
Or just leave everything blank?

Also I have had a few red cards, what do you do when you're down to 10 men?
I usually take one of the central strikers of and play in a 3-2-1-3 formation but not sure if this is the way to go.
