I always thought that the only way to get new high PA players (like 175 or above) was with the regens, for example when a legend retires and his newgen comes into the game, and that was it, because of the limited countries that you can load and therefore limited database of the mobile version i always thought that was the only way, but recently in a new save that i started with valencia,after a few years of playing in the save, i got 2 newgens one from saudi arabia that had incredible pa (187), his second nationality was the netherlands tho, but as i remember there isnt any already existing player that had this potential in the game, so he was completely new.

 

the same happened with a cb/dm from costa rica, that had 185, so i guess that i was completely wrong about that, but i still wanna ask here if someone can clarify me that, if i was wrong all this time or this was just 1 in a million and doesnt happen in every save.

The regen's nationality will be changed rarely. 

And there is PA reassigned case. Regen's PA will be reduced and the part of PA will assign to one young player.

Yeah, what @rseven said is right.

Bale is notorious for changing nationality, probably because it's sort of rare for a 'small' nation like Wales to have a player that good. But Bale is PA186 (in FMM24, all database versions) so it's not him.

The only 187PA players in FMM24 are Salah (all database versions) and Vitor Roque (in the latest Final Winter DB version). Roque is young so my guess is that your player is Salah's regen - although it could be someone else who has gained or lost a bit of PA (that is rare though, much more likely to be Salah).
