Here’s two tactics I recommend.

However there are NO cheat codes here - I doubt you’ll find a tactic which allows ‘non-league player quality’ to be successful in the premier league 😞

You should definitely try the UğurKelekçierV2024 tactic I posted on the site.

Going from Vanarama to the EPL requires alot of patience.

The first thing to note is that player quality matters much more than any tactics. Ideally, you should get a good bargain hunter scout as they will affect the start of season "free signing" recommendations. Make sure you scour that list for bargains and sign them up. This will make the biggest impact of all.

If you can, get in some good loan signings, esp a good Forward with high aerial and shooting, as he will be your main difference maker.

Finally, it's my firm belief that an underdog team should not be playing a high line and high press. Something more defensively consistent could be better. If you want to, you can consider trying a tactic i contributed on the forum which focuses on a solid defence and attacking down the flanks.

hope this helps.

Fully agree with your post above. You typically need to upgrade your players almost every season (unless you can sign young players with potential - then they can last a few seasons).

The expiring contracts, transfer listed, and loan listed players all make a huge difference to finding usable bargains as well.

Edit - if your team is an underdog in a league (for example - because you haven’t upgraded the squad) then I fully agree 👍 If you have upgraded your squad, and you’re looking for a top half finish / promotion again, then that’s when a more balanced / less defensive tactic (like black hawk) is more suitable.

Yes! In fact, i believe that no one should be wedded to any particular tactic. Adaptation is the key.

For example, 343 almost always warrants a 3rd central defender to deal with its central threat and wing play to expose space behind their DWs. Playing against a 4231 might mean having to deploy a DM to counter the opponents AM
