I started from an initial project and eventually arrived at release 3.0

I have always developed 4-man defense tactics. This time I tried my hand at the 3-man defense.

The 3-man defense has a scent of antiquity.

Over the years he went from man defense, then to zone, and now man defense is back with Gasperini and Inzaghi. I also wanted to include some ideas from Xabi Alonso that make the 3-man defense capable of experiencing some metamorphoses in the positioning phase.

There are many new features compared to release 2.0:

I wanted to get a greater breadth of play. The central defender who advances and collaborates in midfield.

Forwards behind the central striker who widen to exploit width and insertions.

The two central midfielders who detach themselves from the defense and actively participate in the attacking phase.

The tactics become chameleonic based on the various phases of the game. It will be possible to recognize the 3-4-2-1 or the 4-3-3 or the 2-3-4-1 or the 3-2-2-3 during the match.

a tragic part of the season. Staff unsuitable to maintain adequate form. But I couldn't fix it due to budget restrictions. But in the end the unexpected promotion came with a team that was a candidate for relegation.

I had an overwhelming start with +12 on the second. Then in the last 6 matches I had a total collapse in form and motivation due to some badly managed dialogues. I won Serie C with +1.

however, if the team is not strong, use light dialogue more without putting pressure, try to have more players in green as morale before the match and during half-time. I have a similar OP tactic to Millennium, the winner of the fm24 real championships. But I preferred not to post it because in three years in my tests I arrived from Serie C in the Champions League and won the Italian Cup. I canceled my career and started with this one which is much more real and less arcade. Consider that if you put men with the right characteristics in the right place this tactic can become surprising but it is important to have a motivating and physically fit member on the staff, this is an offensive tactic and players can arrive at the next match without energy.

there's a damn problem on FM mobile that isn't there on FM PC. If you choose a staff with gold skills in your career, even if your team is poor, the players will soon reach very high levels. This aspect can sometimes over-dope a tactic. This is not good at all, it is a notable doping that they should rectify in fm25 mobile. In fact, I prefer to have bronze-colored staff to have greater difficulty.

Tried with buxton in VNL north league the results were bad and about to be sacked , I don't know may be the players are poor or the tactics doesn't necessarily work well for all. Thanks for sharing

thanks for the feedback. this tactic must be used in extended match mode. If you simulate or play the match quickly you must use 433 or 4231 (the game favors these tactics with their variations). IF A TACTIC DOESN'T WORK IT IS A PROBLEM OF THE COACH'S TRUST, OF THE LOCATION ROOM, OF MORALE, OF FORM, OF STAFF. FM 24 mobile has major defects compared to FM PC, you can win with tactics that use only one defender, the game engine has bugs and defects. The tactic in question features 3 defenders, 2 wingers and 2 midfielders, 3 attackers, short passes, freedom of attack, aggression, pressing, they don't throw the ball away..... so if it doesn't work the team's level is probably too high poor or there are other problems that I mentioned above. I remind everyone that for the test to be reliable, the tactic must have all the relationship lines activated and be played in extended match mode and not sped up.

this trend in Serie B with my team which was a candidate for relegation to Serie C which I promoted to Serie B.

This screen shows the level of the opponents and the level of my players in comparison.

the adventure with this tactic.

In summary: moved to Serie B with a team candidate for relegation to Serie C. Fairly poor team reputation. In Serie B I have the target of salvation.

My players are very low level for the category. The tactic helps to not have linearity but to base the game on unpredictability without giving points of reference to the opponents.

With two Anchors what are the attributes to look for? Just BWMs?

tried it and had bad results but the team I picked probably didn’t fit the scheme (or just overhaul the squad completely which I am looking to do in the summer transfer window)

ci ho provato e ho avuto risultati negativi, ma la squadra che ho scelto probabilmente non si adattava allo schema (o semplicemente ha revisionato completamente la squadra che sto cercando di fare nella finestra di trasferimento estiva)

the two players in front of the defense must be good at recovering balls and have good technique to make a good round of close passes. (I have a very poor team and unfortunately I chose two players who seemed "less worse" to me 😂 The two attacking midfielders, up front, will think about creating offensive opportunities.

THESE ARE TWO OFFENSIVE VARIANTS. Choose the one that best suits the characteristics of your players.

This variant is suitable for poor teams.

With a T and a SS the poor team will avoid pressing too much backwards and will have the necessary inspiration to restart in the offensive zone.

If you have a strong team it could be DEVASTATING
