Challenges I like the number 200

Always up for a scoring challenge. The next I am attempting is scoring 200 goals in one season with a player. This is excluding international goals. 
 

I took inspiration from @deepheat83 who did the challenge successfully so hopefully I can try and get to his absurd numbers!  

I have already selected a player, a team(almost obvious to guess) and did complete the first season.

Have not seen anyone using him. Looks decent enough to try do something. Just hoping he can develop the right way.

Has not developed arially as much as I would have liked, shooting too. Hoping next season he can have a good jump in those stats which should give us better numbers. 
 

He also misses a lot of penalties despite him being listed as an effective penalty taker. Could it because of low shooting stats? 🤔

Personally never heard of this guy,  could be a decent player, looked at his potential online and looks like only 3 stars, could be a flop. Could be a great player. Only a kid, I would get somebody good to mentor him on Ariel, that way his stats will go up, also help is a little bit of pace, shooting will come in time

2nd season done. Just thought I should share this before sharing our progress. Didn’t realise I created quite a defensively sound tactic. I’ll keep this one in the archives.

Decent overall growth on a number of key stats. His shooting is worrying me, only grew by one. 

 

Needs to play more games. About 15 more. Might try focus on stamina more. But we are still far from where we need to get.

3rd season. I am losing motivation. He has stopped growing.

Development bar has not moved more than half a season ago. 

Do I continue with him or do I try someone else on the same save? This guy below looks interesting to try something… hmm

Might be interesting to try the new guy seeing as you already have Celtic set up how you want and plenty of seasons left.

So I was going to use the new kid. Unfortunately he got injured for the opening two months of the season. I did try give him some game time when he came back from injury but I had already committed to playing Izekor for the season. 

Loaned him out in Jan and he is honestly looking amazing!! I am really tempted.

Season 4

Izekor has started developing again! I almost gave up on him. But now I think I’ll try give him another full season. He got injured a few times this season so couldn’t get enough games in. I also tinkered with the tactics a lot this season. 

Need to get some big upgrades for the team. We still aren’t scoring nowhere near enough the required rate to get that 200.

Season 5. 

We had a great start to teh season scoring at a good rate. At some point he just stopped scoring enough. Trying changing tactics but never got going at the same rate he was earlier. 
 

I did not manage to sign the quality of player I required. Most that would improve us weren’t keen to join. 

These two are ready to take over the challenge. I might give it another season with Izekor, feeling that with world class players he can get to 200 or at least closer.
