Season 21

Norwich offered up the smallest budget so far and the hope for this season was to sneak into Europe. 

The first 10 matches or so we played pretty poorly at times. So much so that I started wondering about keeping an eye out for the Chelsea job.

We were saved though by a freebie signing who propped us up with goals from the right wing. Then I seemed to hit a sweet spot with the starting XI. The only blip was the team melting when we got close to a Champions League spot. Anyway we finished 5th:

So much of the team I don’t trust so I’ll be looking to add a lot more quality with limited funds. I’ve also started taking advantage of the academy prospects when I think a team is a multi-season project.

Ron’s Career

Ron did get Manager of the Year again which is nice.

I should also give a shout out to the kit man who seems to have amassed three spectacular change strips that range from hot pink, a BP green and yellow to a deep Mediterranean brownish/red.
