FM25 cancelled (all platforms including mobile)

I posted this in General, but it probably deserves it's own thread:

For those of you who haven't seen this yet (FM25 including Mobile has been cancelled):

They are in discussions with platforms (eg Netflix) and licensors and hope to extend their FM24 agreements. 🤞

Will there be an FM24 update with 2024/25 season data? 

No. As we said in October when the game was delayed, this is a substantial undertaking and would divert critical resources away from the development of the next release which requires our full focus.

Cancelling was probably the right decision at this point, its far too late in the season for it now.

I get why they've done it. Just thinking they could have released ours abit early, even if over the Full fat FM, I'm sure plenty of die hard fans would probably have jumped over to FMM 25 till the new release comes out. Would of ment more people downloading and trying our game. Missed opportunity there SI

It's a shame for all those that were looking forward to it, but as it was still going to be on Netflix, I'm still stuck with 23 anyway.

What a shame, I don't mind if they cancelled because the game is not good enough but I still prefer that they released the Mobile version

No database update to 24 is upsetting

They could update database to 24/25 (at least), I don't think they need extra-efforts to that, because original 2025 database is probably ready since november.

In that case, I imagine that SI would have to arrange something with Netflix and with the licensing's owners, before any release.

 

Ps: sincerely, I read often on this site about Netflix's boycott, but in my opinion publication by Netflix is one of the (few) good things of FMM24 edition.

Let's be honest we might not even get a huge upgrade on FMM even with a year delay

Tbh they have been bugs in the games for years I hope, it means they get everything down 100% and can go afresh with match engine and new role etc

This has been a problem on the main FM too. Playing some sort of gegenpress will always be the superior tactic on FM for quite a lot of edition now

It’s stuff like this below that really irks me can’t play for me or a loan loan club because he got suspended in the carabao cup at the start of the season but somehow hasn’t served his ban when the tournament ended in February and the game is now in march..

Plz god I how they use this til to fix all the “old” bug that are still constantly in game be for fixing the “new” bugs, each edition has more bugs than features.

Yea the game definitely has more new bugs than new features

Don't see any reason to delay 25 on mobile, the mobile version is always neglected and won't be getting a silly amount of changess like the full PC/console version, so no reason to not at least release a mobile version.

Rather annoying as 24 was behind a netflix sub that would set you back £60 for a year rather than the standard £8 you'd use to pay for the game and now this. So I haven't played a version since 23.

Longshot but did anyone ever make a download for updated database up to 2025 for Mobile 23?
