I lost all the passion I had for football management. I was making a spectacular save on fmmobile24, with several achievements, staff (players and coaches) updated by me, playing in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, I had just eliminated Brazil, as I coach the USA, on July 1, 2026, and suddenly the game closes... I thought, it was a bug, it's frustrating having to replay this game but patience... I opened the game again and it closed again on the same day as the game. Then, I cleared the cache, restarted the phone and tried again. Nothing, everything was the same, didn't last past that date. What I did: I copied the save to a folder on my phone and reinstalled the game. Problem: the game doesn't allow me to import or search for the folder where I have the save and I can't even move the save to the game folder. Is there any solution to this problem? Or will I have to start everything from scratch?

There are two things going on here:

 

1. Getting the save back in the new installation. That should be possible, seeing you know where the save is. There is an import option in the Load Game screen, eg: 

When you press it, it will show all the careers that were exported to your phone's storage. If you're lucky it will be in the same place as the original and it will see your save. If it's in a different location (ie it's not finding it), you will have to work out where the folder is now and copy your save into there.

A possible problem: there's a fairly decent chance that the folder doesn't exist as you haven't exported anything yet - so you may need to make a new save and export before FMM creates the folder (or sees it, even if it IS in the same place as before). So you may need to try that and then copy the save in there.

 

2. There's a fairly decent chance that the save file is corrupted and once you copy it back in, the same problem will happen. Sorry! But I think if clearing the cache didn't fix the problem, re-installing is unlikely to. It's not impossible it will fix it though and it's worth trying so 🤞.

If it IS still corrupted, then your only chance is to go to SI Games forum and report it there. There's no guarantee they can save it, but if anyone can, they can. They won't thank me for saying this, but probably your best bet is make a new post in the general Mobile forum and ping Marc Vaughan, as he has been known to help people with bjorked saves. You're really supposed to post it in the bug forum, but I think you are more likely to get a result that way.
