Season 1

Aim (Personal Aim):

Win the league

challenge for Europa league

Build squad up for future

 

Tactic:

Using a slightly modified version of the Blackhawk tactic to make the challenge somewhat doable.

Tactic is not expected to change a lot in the save unless some extraordinary player comes along who forces me to make a change.

 

Transfers:

Biggest signing was Gyokeres, who made sense as the long term striker option. 

Several youth signings who went out on loan

Wijndal was the only notable outgoing, replaced by Ryerson from Dortmund.

 

Results and Review:

Decent season, poor start but performances picked up quickly as we went on some very impressive winning runs in the league.

Could have won the Europa Final, were clearly the better team but Marseille got the win.

Really impressive season for Berghuis, Gyokeres and van den Boomen, who played in the deep Roaming player role 

Highlights:

Luis Guilherme scoring two minutes into his debut.

I'm ajax atm, really enjoying the save. I've won pretty much everything on Fm24, so I wanted to try something different with ajax. So I purely just use youth players, helps that ajax 2 play in the league below us. I'm currently top after 14 games and my ajax 2 (managed by Harry kane) are 1st in 2nd league. Will keep an eye on how you get on buddy
