Chat Exceeding Board Expectations

In my most recent season with Atletico Ottawa in the CPL, I had agreed with the board that I would aim for a mid table finish. However, after going on a really good run of wins, I ended up winning the league and winning the playoffs. Despite exceeding my goal of finishing mid table, the board gave me a ‘D’ rating. Is this because I did too good? Was there something else I was missing here?

It happened to me as well while playing in Argentina.

I have a question: what are the season dates in this Canadian league you mentioned? I have a gut feeling that unusual season dates and structure can conflict with how the board expectations are evaluated in the game. Argentina has both unusual dates and structure compared to European leagues.

Interesting thought - the Canadian Premier League season starts in April and ends in early October. As soon as the regular season ends, the playoffs run from October - November.

I don't think I can verify this, but from memory I'm pretty sure I was top of the table from the fist week and never left 1st place.
