The Revenant Flow – A Tactical Masterpiece

“A system designed for dominance,not survival.”

What if I told you that it was a system that not only adapts to leagues,but bends them to its will?

After testing with Chelsea,Wolfsburg,Juventus,Fenerbahçe and PSG,The Revenant Flow has proven to be one of the most adaptable and devastating tactics in FMM24.
If you can get the conditions right,you’ll easily be able to reach at least +3 GPG and a +80 goal difference..

What Makes It Special?

*Whether you’re managing a top-tier giant or a dark horse,this system scales.

*It’s aggressive,yet adjustable.

*It produces goals,but doesn’t abandon structure.

Key Strategic Insights

*Make sure you have a good Staff team.(I recommend a mentor,two attackers,two fitness trainers.)

*Make sure you have a good team dynamic and avoid giving troublesome players a place in your squad as much as possible.

*Talk with your players often and try to keep their motivation and morale at the highest level at all times. (Otherwise,you may lose surprise matches or play matches with limited scores.)

*This tactic is not a Plug N Play tactic.If you want to reach the Plug N Play stage early,you should start your career in the best team of your league (for example Bayern Munich,Manchester City,Real Madrid,Celtic,PSG,Benfica etc.)or have a squad structure that will dominate the league in your advanced career.

*Some matches can be tough.(These matches are home and away matches numbered 4 on the fixture screen and maybe away matches numbered 3).Don't forget to 'Balance' your team mentality in these matches.

*If your three defenders behind and your central midfielders have high pace(my recommendation is 16+),you can choose the defensive line option 'High' and make the pressing option 'All Over'.Also,if the central defender's pace remains low,he may often receive a red card.(Because he will miss his man and foul the opponent from behind as the last man.)

*You can take a look at my Cerberus Line tactic to ensure that the defensive backs,that is,the side defenders,get maximum benefit.I explained it in more detail there and our defensive formation is exactly the same in this tactic.
 

*The three forwards must also be fast.Also,it would be great if the three forwards have 15+ aerial quality.(Especially for Poacher!)
Because in this tactic,defensive wingers will intercept a lot of crosses and players will frequently send key passes to each other.(In the beginning, it is difficult to find wing forwards with 15+ aerial quality,so 12-13 range will also be enough.)And yes,Inside Forwards will score a lot of goals and assists.If you like IF’s,you will enjoy this tactic extra.

*Dead balls are very important.If you can adapt the corner tactic I shared in the comments of my The Hybrid Hammer tactic to this tactic,you can find an average of 20 goals per season with dead balls.

*A good goalkeeper is essential for this tactic.Don't even say hello to bad goalkeepers and if you don't have a good goalkeeper,don't even bother with this tactic.
Because when we play with a single defender and the opponent plays with 2 or 3 forwards,we can see a lot of shots on our goal.If your goalkeeper can't stop shots,send him fishing on the beach.

Finally,before sharing the test results,I want you to know that I have activated the 'Rich Benefactor'.Now let's see what we did.
 

1-VfL Wolfsburg(Control-Balanced)

The Bundesliga is a difficult league.Because except for Bayern and Leipzig,all the other teams are almost equal in strength and this makes the first season more difficult for us.Also,the number of players in Wolfsburg is very limited so I couldn't make good transfers.I invested the money from Rich Benefactor in defense so I didn't have enough money for a goalkeeper.Also,Kaminski and Wimmer have similar profiles.If one of them was sold,I could have bought a good goalkeeper but neither of them were sold.So I had to play Wimmer as a right IF and since his shooting skills were already a disaster in themselves,I couldn't get good results from him.This negatively affected my career in general.Still,I managed to win the league.I preferred the 'Balanced' mentality in difficult matches and the 'Control' mentality in other matches.Still,I managed to win the league.I also managed to be the team that scored the most goals in the league and 2.41 GPG was definitely a good result for this team.

2-Juventus(Attacking/Balanced)

I tried not to spoil the originality of the squad in this team,I only added Molina/Di Lorenzo to the main squad and took the other players for the reserve squad.I won the league and the cup easily.I achieved 2.84 GPG and +83 GD with 108 goals in the league.I played the away matches against Inter/Milan/Napoli/Roma/Fiorentina/Lazio with a 'Balanced' team mentality.I played the remaining matches with an 'Attacking' team mentality.

3-Chelsea FC(Attacking-Balanced)

I can say that I achieved unexpected success with Chelsea.I transferred Ter Stegen to the goal,Talisca to the right IF,Dimarco to the left DW and created a good reserve squad.I won the League, Carabao,FA cups.I can especially say that I dominated the league.Only one defeat,3.10 GPG and +80 GD is a great success for the first season in this league.I played the away games against City/Arsenal/Liverpool/Newcastle/Tottenham/ManU with a 'Balanced' mentality and all the other games with an 'Attacking' mentality.

4-Fenerbahçe SK(Attacking-Balanced)

We can think of this part as a bit of a Rebuild.Because I made a lot of transfers.Skriniar/Talisca/Oosterwolde/İsmail Yüksek/En-Nesyri/Kostic are the main players of my team and I transferred all the other players.(Kavanagh,Bale's regen.)
I got all the trophies that could be won. My team scored 67 goals in the conference.
My team scored 121 goals in the League and achieved 3.18 GPG and +90 GD.If I remember correctly,my team scored 23 goals in the Turkish Cup and this corresponds to a total of 211 goals in a season.Also,in this career,I played the Fiorentina/Marseille/PSV matches with a 'Balanced' mentality and the rest of the matches with an 'Attacking' mentality.

5-PSG(Overload-Balanced)

I transferred Akanji to right defensive back,Partey to center midfield,Theo to left dw,Osimhen to P,Inaki Williams to right IF.
I won all possible trophies.
I played Barcelona/Real Madrid/Benfica matches with 'Balanced' and all other matches with 'Overload' mentality.
My team managed to score 144 goals in the league and get 4.23 GPG and +118 GD.
The main aim here was to reach 150 goals in the first season,but I spent one month without the most important players because of the African Cup in January and I couldn't do it.Also Marquinhos has 13 pace.Central midfielders are also slow.So even though I adopted 'Overload' mentality but I had to keep my defense line and pressing power balanced.Still,it was an extraordinary season.

I am sharing the ideal version of the tactic.I explained above that it is not Plug N Play,there are different variations and what needs to be done. Also,you may have wondered why I prefer double CM instead of B2B or DLP when there is IF and P.I think CM works better than other roles when playing with disciplined tactics.(If you can choose zone or player marking for a player,that role is more suitable for disciplined tactics.For example,you cannot choose B2B or DLP make this.You can also understand the ideal level of creativity a tactic should have from here.)I also think that this tactic is more enjoyable in high-level teams.(Depending on the league and squad structure.)

Finally,I wasn't planning on sharing tactics for a while.I've already shared enough lately.But @EarlRagnar gave me an idea and motivation for this,so I would like to thank him specially.If it wasn't for him,I would never have worked on such a tactic.See you all.

This looks good, but what attributes you're looking for in the CM position? is it more defensive or creative? or maybe one cm defensive minded and one that are more attacking? or both of them just B2B? from your exprience with this formation which one is the most effective?

I used CMs with high defensive skills,effective in aerial balls,and good passers.Additionally,if they could be fast,that would be great.

I think the first seasons are always harder.

Also,this tactic is directly related to your team's level in the league rather than the season itself.(average star level,fixture difficulty,team dynamics,etc.)

I mentioned these issues in the explanations.

Currently using your tactic with Yeovil in the national south. Was unsure if it would work as with 1 defender in the national league I thought I'd get plummeted but so far it's working a treat. Whether or not it'll work next season in the national league where I'm probably a relagtion candidate is yet to be seen.

But I do want to ask some questions. Like what is ideal stats for "DW"? I think it should be Dribbling,Pace and Crossing.

And what is the ideal stats you look for your "IF"? I am very curious because my any IF never gave me more than 15 assists and here you are with Kvara's 41 assists. 

Can you please share Your ideal stats for "DWs","IFs" and the "P".

And as you mentioned this is not a plug and play tactics so How can I play with this tactic if this did not click well?
