Chat Manager Reputation ~ League Expectations

Hey, I was wondering if reputation of manager is linked to club season expectations? 

Started game with continental manager rep, got promoted with Ipswich through the playoff. 

50m budget and next season expectations as Mid-Table as minimum..

Which is impossible with the Ipswich default squad without major transfers and prices for all good players are broken expensive..

Not sure. Would be easy for you to test though. Make new saves with a top reputation, check expectations. Make new saves (same club) with lowest reputation, check expectations. 🙂

Depends what your transfer expectations and preparation is like.

• Good mid-table EPL quality (but maybe not world class) players should be available on the transfer list - I.e. slightly cheaper
• On Jan 1st, you should have already signed a bunch of decent players on pre-contract, as their contracts are expiring that summer.
• You should be able to double your transfer budget by deliberately selling a key player, or having signed players previously with a view to sell them (sign on free transfers, loan out for a season / half season, sell for profit).

Hope this helps 🙂 if you haven’t done any preparation, then yeah you’ve got problems, just like a club in the same situation with no preparation irl

Thanks for the excellent advise. Ill get the same checked and advise implemented. Just getting back into FMM after last played FMM20.
