I’ll stay up tonight depending on what time the game will be accessible in Turkey time 😄

Haha same. I am from Mauritius and most probably won't sleep tonight until I play it😄 I wonder what time will it be released on Netflix...

Voi sta treaz în seara asta, în funcție de ora la care va fi accesibil jocul, ora Turciei 😄

FMM 24 was launched at 21:00 in Turkey, and FMM 23 was launched at 03:00 in Turkey. There were previous launches for these mentioned editions, even at 01:00 (Turkish time), so I expect the launch to take place at a different time than before, but not late at night, but after 18-19, but no later than 23:00.

I found this kind of information — the mobile version probably uses different hours, but it seems like this is the only info we can access for now.

Conform acestor informații, am presupus corect, iar jocul din Turcia va fi lansat la ora 20:00 (16:00 UK + 3GMT to Turkey + 1 hour gap = 20:00 it's right).

Ups 🤭, I wasn't aware of this!

In the last 15 years, Irish clubs like Shamrock, St. Patricks, and Dundalk have met clubs from my country (Romania) in European competitions. It didn't end well for the Irish teams, but currently, these clubs have raised the bar significantly. Look at Shamrock in this season's Conference League, where they surprisingly eliminated a Portuguese top-flight team in the play-offs – Santa Clara (a team that drew with Porto, Benfica, Braga, and beat Sporting). Even St. Patricks, although eliminated by Besiktas, managed to score 3 goals in that two-legged tie.

My Career Manager Strategy:

  • I choose a team from England, the Vanarama South division, and manage it until I get promoted to the Premier League and, implicitly, win a European cup (I usually have a thing for the Europa League; it suits me well 😁).
  • In another save, I choose a team with a historical impact from the big five leagues, but from the 2nd or 3rd division.
  • I rarely decide to take over powerful clubs (Juve, Barca, B. Munich, etc.), but when I do, I sell all the players in the club who are over 21 years old and bring in U20 players with great potential.
  • Other times, I prefer to take the reins of a national team outside the world's top 50 and perform miracles with it.

Same as Elvolante here, @Marc Vaughan.

would it be possible to make things like this : define a list of surnames per culture, then assign a % of that culture per country? Nicaraguans and Bolivians have almost the same set of surnames, but you find them in the Philippines too. I’m sure there are Nigerians cultures to be found in neighbouring countries. You find a lot of Italian surnames in Latin America. And so on.

it is already taken into account in the names lists, but it could maybe reach a level of granularity without too much work. (Well, let’s say one year or so 😅, but it’s nothing when you’ve started playing this game in 1999)

There are Yorùbá names in Benin Republic, Efik names in Cameroon and Fulani/Hausa names in Niger. They all border Nigeria and it can get confusing. Locals like us know the language you speak from your native name. I'd be glad to help SI over here.

I think it'd be great is some people who were more knowledgeable about this sort of thing contacted the research team and offered to help - simply put as someone who grew up in the UK this level of detailed knowledge is beyond myself, but if we had better knowledge then there is no reason we couldn't get the research done and improve things accordingly.

(this is likely to take a while to get done however obviously and its not something that would happen overnight)

Oh just to mention as I don't 'think' it's been stated clearly ... when you get a job offer now if the club is open to the idea you can now ask to remain at your current club until the end of the season and start the new role then.

Obviously it being FM, if you choose to do this it has consequences - the media and your players will react to your decision and it may well affect how the rest of your season plays out ... if things go well then your present board might even ask your opinion of who should become their next manager, do badly and they'll simply slam the door behind you ;)

That's great addition

Hey @Marc Vaughan ,thanks for all the info you provide to us here on your free time.

I want to use this opportunity however, to suggest adding a competition history feature in future version of the game, showing past winners, runners-up, and top scorers for each competition.
I think it would really enhance the sense of progression and make long-term saves feel much more alive and meaningful.

This feature is actually the no1 on my wishlist for next year.

Hey @Marc Vaughan This is prolly just me. But, it'll add more realism to the game if one or two youth players from the academy differed from the nationality that team is located in. And prolly a youth from a mid or obscure or power country. Say Man TD produces a Columbian defender in one of their youth intakes.

Hey @Marc Vaughan, big fan of the game and series,

I was curious to know if there has been any changes to the youth system in the newest game, such as different nationalities in your youth intakes etc. Thank you in advance!

Does Football Manager Mobile include UEFA's homegrown player rules now? Specifically, does the game enforce squad registration rules requiring a certain number of club-trained and association-trained players?

No - to be quite honest I could put those in, but they don’t suit the style of game I’m desgning FMM to be. It’s intended to be faster and more fun than the full fat game. If you feel you need that sort of minutiae I’d suggest you give FM Touch a look.

Wondering a thing for potential modders. Considering save games can be carried forward from FMM24 to FMM26 I am assuming that the way files have been set up and the folder structure has not changed too much? Correct me if i´m way off on this one but since visually the main UI has not had an overhaul I am guessing we can use the methods which we have in previous versions to add pictures and such?

Hello, Marc. It is me again. Well-done. 😂

Okay, so for future versions, I am thinking of some things that should be added or modified.

✓ Leagues in Spain and Italy seem like the only ones (in top 5 leagues) where you can develop your youth in reserves well – the reserves in these leagues play more matches than any other leagues. To cope with this, we human managers try to schedule friendlies so as to meet up with game time expectations. I hope you look into this in future and give the reserves their own leagues (dunno if I make it sound realistic or not).

✓ In future versions, I hope we can have nominations for specific awards (coach of the year, best player etc) before the award ceremonies. If not a full blown nomination list, then stories covering these awards would suffice (would be interesting seeing your players getting nominated for awards – even if they don't win it!)

✓ (My most important one) Hopefully you can reduce the dot size of players so that we can have certain feasible actions take place. Certain actions look impossible because of player size and perhaps pitch. Players tend to over-hit counter attacking passes when they are still in their own half. It's not the case for AI though as I have seen.

✓ Hopefully the players get to stick more to set-piece instructions in future. Placing a 4 or 5-man wall only to see 2 men in wall in matches. It's annoying. Also, players don't stay back during corners most times which leads to counter attacking situations (against setpieces instructions)

✓ More dribbling actions during highlights from players. Run at defence doesn't seem fun as it's only fullbacks or wing backs that complete most dribbles per match (3-5 max) despite having forwards with 16+ dribbling attribute and technique.

✓ Lastly, I forgot the last one but would put it out as soon as I remember (I have amnesia! 😄).

Cheers!!!

Dla nowych graczy dużym ułatwieniem było by dodanie opisu w które sektory boiska poruszają się zawodnicy z daną rola bez piłki jak i z piłką. Uproszczylo by to układanie taktyki bez łuk w formacjach .

@Marc VaughanI mean the full competition history — not just a couple of seasons back. For example, in FMM24 it only shows the winners and runners-up starting from the 2022–23 season. Also, the competition records only include in-game data, not the real historical records.

@Marc Vaughan Nominations and news for awards before the big day would be great, more build up and final third instructions too(they might deal with the dribbling, passing and shooting complaints a lot of players have), revamped set piece instructions so you it doesn't go berserk if you change formation midgame or sub a 15 aerial player for a 4 one(tall for short).

Hello everyone,

Thank you for this wonderful community on this game.

Do you have any idea when the game will be released on mobile in France, please?
