In/Out of Possession Tactics hinted at?

Just to prefix this might end up being rather redundant since i could conversely just comment on the main FMM26 features set, but i feel like this potential feature is WAY too significant for them to not specify it on the devblog beyond a brief glimpse of it in the promotional trailer.

 

Start from 0.20 of the devblog, just after the starting match screen displays showcasing the fresh PL licenses, you'll soon see that the tactics board shift seamlessly from a 3-4-2-1 to a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 (i dont recall the exact formation clearly but the point stands). Is this genuinely a confirmation of the feature being in the game?? Or am i just tripping lol

They’ve confirmed the in/out possession will NOT be in this years Mobile game.

My guess is that it’s a video editing technique to show that you can setup different tactics - not to toggle between in/out possession - but I could be wrong 🤷

might be a hint that they will and are trying to bring it in future editions

Based on that and other comments he made, he's not planning to add it as he thinks it will be too complicated.  Worth seeing this longer comment (and also worth letting him know what you think as he said he will listen):
