Help Game downloads, but doesn't install

I'm running into a problem with the update to version 26; it shows as an update to version 24, downloads but doesn't install, and reports an error.  Android 16, Samsung Galaxy S25+.

Anybody with a solution?

First off, try restarting your device and running the update again.

I've had this happen on lots of apps from Google Play over the years - sometimes a device restart fixes it, other times it's just a case of waiting it out until some cache behind the scenes clears itself.

No luck, I restarted the device but I still have the popup that it cannot be installed.

Yeah... that's probably not what you want to hear, but looks like it might be a waiting game unfortunately.

This is generally why there is a "slow rollout" of updates for apps (on both mobile platforms) just because of the way things have to propagate through the various systems.

That's weird, it literally downloads . 91gb of data, so it seems like it's there. 

 

Could that be a problem of update over the 24?

Does all my logos and pics still work on fm 26, it's stuck on the loading screen

Delete the existing game. Then download the game. It should work fine. Do not update.

That's what I thought, but I really wanted to keep my saved games from FMM24

Didn't need to uninstall, just come on now checking to see my player pics/logos are still on

Same problem. 

"According to data obtained from similar devices, this app can stop working for you".

I supposed, it's due to Russian GP account and sanctions. However, it seems to be a problem of Samsung phones 😭

I just downloaded it on my Galaxy A05 after having issues. I followed Google plays touble shooting guide and unistalled Google play updates then updated it to tge latest on the app. I also unistalled FMM24. I don't know which of those two things worked of if it was a combination of the two of them

Just downloaded womens pictures, kept all my logos and pics from FM 24 as well. Game is mint

I used update and had no issues. Using a Google Pixel 8a.

Just downloading all the logos, faces, kits, will it constantly take ages to load each time I open FM26?

Which file transfer do you guys use? Xplorer is taking like 10 hours, I've tried every other like file.commander, cx etc still nothing
