Hi all and specifically Marc,

 

I’ve ran into several bugs I’d like to share with you:

1. After a while in the savegame the sell on fee clause stops working. I had this issue in fmm24 as well. Someone wrote that you could go back to a save and replay that part. Which worked for me for once. But within a few months of playing it stopped again. This takes away all my youth training strategy and selling them when a club makes a reasonable offer. I quit fmm24 because if it.

2. The youth players coming from the academy are named “Stefan Blok” to many times. See screen.

3. I sell my player for a good fee with a sell on clause. To see he gets a minimum fee release clause below the fee or slightly above just paid. It has been possible to rebuy this player right away, making a profit.

4. When negotiating a sell on clause it sometimes suggests there’s a sell on clause. But when you start to raise it. It appears to be nil.

5. Sometimes the msg screen text shows item like #person1 or similar instead of uding the correct name in the game.

 

item 1 makes me quit the game.

item 2 probably as well, later in the game.

 

I have my savegame downloaded to Icloud. Let me know how to share it.

If you’ve found bugs, you need to report them on the official SI (Soorts Interactive) forum bug tracker - not here!

Marc is kind / practical enough to check out Vibe when he can, but that’s not the place for reporting bugs - as the official SI forum bugs tracker is what the whole SI team checks and uses.

If you want the bugs fixed, you’ll need to post the bugs there

you mean the ingame bug report tool? I tried that in the past. Absolutely no luck. Therefor I had more faith in this forum.

Im just trying to help a game fix issues. I’ve spend a lot of time reading to see if it was reported before. My read included a lot of pages about the pitch graphics not showing the right plays….

I spend time playing FMM24 to find out it was bugged with the sell on clause issue.

I waited for FMM26 to find out it is still was bugged with the sell on clause.

 

thankfully I still have FMM19 and FMM21 installed. So I can go back to games that kept me going for more seasons than the latest releases.

 

let me know if you know how to deal with the items I’m encountering.

4. Al negociar una cláusula de venta, a veces se sugiere que existe. Pero cuando se empieza a plantear, parece ser nula.

5. A veces, el texto de la pantalla del mensaje muestra un elemento como #persona1 o similar en lugar de usar el nombre correcto en el juego.

 

El elemento 1 me hace abandonar el juego.

Artículo 2 probablemente también, más adelante en el juego.

 

Tengo mi partida guardada descargada en iCloud. Dime cómo compartirla.

The way I understand it, it's probably because of Mentality. I play Control, so players don't want to go too far on the pitch. I say this because I tested players with the trait of running into the box whenever possible as BBM on the CM slot and they don't do that.

Another explanation might be that BBM this year are coded to not go into the box at all. Which would be strange as in FMM24 they did that - and in reality they do that as well.

But then there's a problem. If we play as a weaker side against a stronger opponent, we aren't going into attacking/overload mode. Then we can expect only our forwards to actualy attack the box when we have the ball...

I suspect some roles where nerfed on their movements. I noticed RP to not roam as much this year (specialy horizontally), BBM and AP to not go so far, IFs are getting later to the box than previously, PF don't try to disrupt CBs by moving to the sides (only goes up and down), DLF only roams back at the very beggining of our attacking move (and both PF and DLF work as Poacher when the ball reaches close to the final third).

I may be wrong, but the way I see it, all the roles that makes players moving off the ball are not moving off the ball as much as in the past, and overall players without the ball are waiting instead of moving. This leads to the game being predictable, having players that would run to where the space is -> the wings, and then they cross.

Interesting insight.  I have also struggled with horizontal movement.  Is the RP still the role with most horizontal movement in your opinion?

Try praying...

I've reported the bug that doesn't let me set my setpieces anymore back in 2024 (I can set it in Tactics, but it always gets randomized by the engine everytime on-pitch).

There's no answer, let alone fixes, even when it happens also in 2026. Maybe because I'm not praying enough 😢.

Does anyone here actually reject the rich benefactor unlockable. I find it unrealistic when I'm managing in a smaller league. But if you reject it, is it still available for the future?

If you reject it you can then switch it on under settings > unlockables. Then you’ll get the message again.

So, I just started a new game managing Brighton (and also Hove Albion) in the WSL in England.

I've just appointed a gold rated youth scout and sent them out worldwide to find me some talent. And the first recommended (and only recommend player so far because it's early doors) is this player.

So far so good, right? A young player with encouraging stats.

I use the editor to do additional scouting and found the potential of this player is 4 stars. Even better, right? But not 4 1/2 or 5 star so... I don't know if she would be a worthwhile signing.

And then I have a look at this player's history. And oh!, my baby Jesus! What? How? Eh?...

Could this be footballing Jesus? Or the female equivalent? I don't know. I don't do religion. Should I buy this player just in case? I don't play with Inside Forwards. I use a 343 tactic.  Advice? Observations?

Beginning to think this game hates me, Tried multiple teams and tactics and it’s absolutely soul destroying. 
 

only one I had success with was safa45 tactic ‘This tactic promises you trophies’ - won the league twice on the trot with Chelsea, I screwed up that save by leaving them and wanted to go back and it didn’t work second time around, no tactic does, with any team, im individually training players to the specific role, signing players who excel in the role and position the tactic has….

That's crazy!! A real player of course, so I googled her and found this (You better get in quick before Porto get her):

Of course in the game she is only 4 stars like you say and she's not even a striker like in real life, so probably not the best option. There are tons of really top wonderkids in the woman's game for next to nothing. That said, she'd probably be a decent squad player.

Not really, no. I almost can't get horizontal movement at all in midfielder roles.

Only ones I've seen regularly doing it are Wider Centre Back (to get to the wide position) and Inside Forwards (who go from wide positions to the box).

Has anyone managed in Germany/Spain on this year's edition? I haven't as of yet (I like my youth players) normally in other Leagues (Sweden, England, France etc) there attributes go up massively. In previous Spain and or Germany (there attributes don't really at all)

If someone is trying to sign a young striker to get you a bag load of goal then Ellen Wangerheim who Man U have just signed in real life is a great choice. I signed her for Everton from Hammarby IF for 75k, had her in my team for 2 seasons and then sold her to Bayern for 1.4m. 

Any career started before the winter transfer window update, go raid the Swedish league and sign the players that have since moved to the WSL.

My current save is in Spain. I don’t have experience with the previous version of FMM, so I’m not sure if it worked differently before. But my gut feeling is that the XP gain drops off quite quickly. It feels like players get used to the difficulty of the league faster than expected. If that makes sense.

Well this is a total guess, but Davinchi's uID is 2000369658 and if you look that up on sortitoutsi you get:

And she is a good player, but... she's not in FMM. So maybe they've accidentally been given duplicate uIDs and in Sortitoutsi Davinchi overrode Markovic and in FMM it was the other way around? I wonder if she is in the full game?

I noticed a name kept appearing.

Roughly 37% of all the people with this name came from my Brighton (and Hove Albion) team.

Weird. They're all regens or new gens, I don't know the correct term, and all share the same birthday, obviously different birth years though.
