Anyone knows when assistant manager for fmm 26 will be released for download?

Don't hold your breath! Not only do I have to work out the new save structure, I am still rewriting the entire app (making good progress, but still a bit to do).

Have you been able to find the location of saved data?

On my phone at least it created a FMM26 folder in Documents - but of course you have to export the save games to see them in there.

It's basically like last year from the look of it. And yes, I can say the same with how I got the database too

Hmm, that's not what I'm seeing - looking at the db structure (I'll look at save structure after I work it out in the db).

So far, I'm on the people section and the structure has changed, eg:

  • ITN caps and goals are now 2 bytes instead of 1 (although the U21 equivalents stay as 1).
  • There are a couple of extra bytes after the physio code.
  • And another byte later on (just before the main language count).

But what's really killing me right now is I have at least 1 referee in the people database who doesn't have anything for main languages, secondary languages and likes/dislikes. Not sure if refs were always in there, but if they were they had values for those things. I might have a way to conditionally ignore that for refs, but not 100% sure yet.

A work in progress. But the bigger issue is being able to build AM, which requires me to finish the rewrite first.

Yes, I could see the ITN caps too, and was working on it to see what the extra bytes stands for after the ITN. And if I remembered correctly, there were no referees last year.

I got around a small group of referees by assuming the code after the physio code was a ref code (although this year there are 2 bytes in between). It's always been FF FF FF FF as far as I can tell. If that is a different value than FF FF FF FF, then I make the record shorter and that let me parse those records.

but....

then it breaks later when some one else has  00 01 FF FF in there.. So maybe I got that wrong. Investigating....

Well, if anyone is interested, the people table has the following changes:

  • ITN caps and goals are now 2 bytes instead of 1 (although the U21 equivalents stay as 1)
  • There are 2 extra bytes after the physio code for people with one of the staff codes or the referee code (but not for people who are just players and nothing else)
  • There is 1 extra byte just before the main language count for everyone
  • Referees always have 00 for main language count and do not have the other languages or likes/dislikes sections at all (so the record finishes earlier than for other types)

Quite confusing / complicated, but I can now parse the people table.

The players table is unchanged, but there will be more problems to investigate (next up clubs!)

EDIT: That seems to be wrong. I think it is more likely to be:

  • ITN caps and goals are now 2 bytes instead of 1 (although the U21 equivalents stay as 1)
  • There are 2 extra bytes after the physio code but ONLY for people with one of the staff codes (even player/coaches, but not officials/refs)
  • There is 1 extra byte just before the main language count for everyone

Still not 100% sure so use at your own risk

Ref's have always been in there, even in FM24 ;)

Those changes are not working on 2603 db for me.

I have worked out club changes though.

Scratch app is very useful indeed, I use it to search for the higher potential yth players and also helps to locate the three basic players profile without sweat.

While we wait for @scratch to release his app AM26.

There's a way I've been able to locate the attribute/ca/pa section without to much stress searching.

Just write down the player (pace, strength, stamina, technique.) In Hex value and search.

There won't be too many players with same values, his ability or leadership value will be clue that you are on his section to edit.

There's other ways to do this but I think this is a good way too.

If you know easier way, feel free to share.
