Tactics 3-5-1-1 - The Bionic Bubble Will Never Burst

Hello FMers!

These are a few tests I've been trying on Mobile for FM26.

Start of save I sold my 4 star players. Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Anderson and Murillo, to bring in a lot more potential in depth.
Had around 220mil. Got rid of some bench warmers and prospects too.

I initially started with a 3 back tactic from here for the first season, finished the league in 7th, won the European Cup, and got knocked out in the Semis of the Carabao. 

I noticed was getting poor ratings most weeks having a lone DM, so pushed them forward to use at a BBM, and shifted some other players and roles around.

The following season with this tactic, we won the Premier League and the Champions League. 

An injury to Vitor Roque at a crucial time of the season possibly cost us a domestic cup, or atleast a better run in it.

It's still a bit of a beta version, however is starting to beat the 'top 6' clubs. My next save I will be starting unemployed and testing it in the NL or lower leagues.

Interested to see what results others get and any suggestions for improvement.

Banzuzi is now signed. De Gea on the decline but FFP not allowing replacement. Eyeing Diogo Costa for next season.

Looks like I'm missing a screenshot. You can just about see a draw on the top of one screenshot (above Bournemouth) 0 - 0 possibly.

 

There's another 2 draws missing from the total, so I'd imagine that was another City game. Struggled to beat them. Other one would likely be Liverpool.

This looks really interesting, I'll give it a go with my Sheff United team when I get home. They're struggling a little in the second season in the prem.

Let me know how you get on. Pace and strength are the vitals. Especially for the BBM.

I switched to defensive when a couple up late on, or attack when behind throughout the game.
