Tactics 4-3-3 with AMC (tested with Liverpool)

Hey everyone!

Today I’d like to share my custom 4-3-3 tactic with an attacking midfielder (AMC). I’ve tested it throughout the entire season — no save & load, I promise! Well… almost. The game froze once, and I had to replay four matches, but let’s be honest — who hasn’t lost progress to a random crash?

The core of the team was built around Salah, Szoboszlai, and Isak, although the latter struggled a bit with fitness and injuries, so Ekitike often stepped in. Overall, I went for heavy rotation during the season — young Rio Ngumoha was our main striker

Danns made around 20 appearances up front, and Morisson started several matches early on before heading out on loan in the new year. Later in the season, Urbański got his chance and made some solid contributions too.

There were some huge wins (like that unforgettable 7–0 vs Crystal Palace) and a few painful defeats (3–0 to Manchester United, yeah… that one hurt).

In general, though, the tactic worked really well against stronger sides. Occasionally, when Wirtz wasn’t available, Salah stepped in as a Shadow Striker — and honestly, he did an excellent job there. The only downside? Defending. We conceded a bit too many goals for my liking, so there’s definitely room for improvement at the back.

In the Champions League, we absolutely stormed through the group stage — won every single match, scored a ton of goals, total domination. Unfortunately, the knockout stage wasn’t as kind, and we went out in the Round of 16.

In the league, we only lost three matches all season — a result I’m more than happy with. Cup runs were a bit mixed, but we consistently reached the latter stages, so the progress is there.
