Tactics Gad Ball 4-3-3

 Share

Recommended Posts

I Created this 4-3-3 while I was managing Brighton and it was amazing I guide them to a top four finish two times in a row and when Pep retired at city I was appointed as the manager of Man City and has dominated Europe. As you can see in the screenshot.

Tactics

GK - Sweeper Keeper

LB - Wingback

CB - Ball Playing Defender

CB - Ball Playing Defender

RB - Wingback

DM - Defensive Midfielder

MCL - Advance Playmaker

MCR - Roaming Playmaker

AML - Inverted Winger

AMR - Inside Forward

At Brighton I played Mitoma as the Inside Forward on the left and Minteh as the Inverted Winger on the right.

ST - Deep Lying Forward

Have you used match preparation? This year, most of the tactics are being adapted to the top-tier teams; no one is thinking about lower-league teams like me. 🥶

Nothing against you I'm but bored of all the 4-1-2-2-1 systems already.

Many of them used with the best sides in the game.

41221 is very good in this year's game.

I leave match preparation to my assistant.

I actually started the game with Brighton and was at Brighton until Pep retired and I was offered the job .

It's good in every version of the game. That's why I get bored with it and how many tactics are posted using it.

Just personal preference.

Hi, so you have 2 Wing Backs, Narrow Width and Look for Overlap? Isn't that a weird idea because you're telling they ll play narrow, full backs will bomb forward and look to overlap wide? This would create massive space in transitions and our CBs can be exposed wide.

Also, how do you work with both AP and RP here? Both want the ball to the feet, both want to roam into offensive zones and can't defend wide properly and they also don't make late box runs consistenly, we can't form a 3v2 on the flanks with them against the opposition's Winger and Full Back, then also the Midfielders become all about collecting the ball, not space attacking and this won't overload teams with a double pivot.

Other than that, Control mentality + Slow tempo + Disciplined?? This kind of formation is supposed to be anti-4231 and this makes our team too static, too predictable and easy for a 4231 to sit in shape.

I might be wrong, but I'd like to know how to tackle these weaknesses!
