Tactics ATTACKING TACTIC (2 GOALS PER MATCH+HIGH XG)

Hi fellow tacticians !!

This is my first time posting tactic, however I have been on fmmvibe since fm24
Would love to have your feedback

I used many tactics from this forum but idk why none of tactics worked for Manchested United default squad. So this is my tactic I came up with that led me to success.
However, I drew a lot of games, and during AFCON team struggeled with squad depth.

Season 2 update :--- 

Premier league Winners AGAIN 
This time more dominating, was 12-15 points ahead whole season from second place but city gave run for the money in latter stage of league, but we did it. 
AND NO SIGNINGS WERE MADE.
Both the season I played with original squad of United, only in the second season, hojlund, rashford and onona returned from loan. 




Now for the second surprise was we won FA cup and Community Shield!! Before this particular tactic united always struggled or had to make upgrade in terms of signings.

But but but.. 


Last but not the least...
We won, we won the Champions League...in one go!!! How? I have no idea how this squad managed to do that, even suprisingly we were unbeaten in League phase.. but I thought might be luck, but then faced PSG in Final and defetead them!! No words!!

So ended up winning treble in season 2 with this tactic.

Now I am curious how good this tactic can be, and want to continue with this tactic and this particular save, but will have to make few signings since Bruno, Maguire, Shaw agining.

Season 3 update --- 

made a few signings, mostly potential signings only one marquee signing in Trincao but he didn't settle well. Started season slow but in second half went on winning streak of 16 games. 
Had a decent season, better than last 2 seasons, attacking wise struggled but defensively very solid, could have finished 1st but Arsenal went on bonkers with 100 points season. 

other than that knocked out by Real Madrid in stoppage time goal... but won the FA cup


But we had to take revenge from Arsenal for taking our PL title, so team did this..


overall very satisfied with this tactic, should have won PL, and got unlucky in CL...so yeah

Try test with a smaller team in top division. Interesting to see

It seems like this would be one step from becoming and unstoppable tactic. Very efficient in attack, with some weak in defense, mainly away.

I'm current step forward the Libero and change It to Defensive Midfielders.

I think that DM would project the two CDs Better than Libero.

No tactic is plug and play.

You will need players for the roles to get the most out of any system you use. Or train the ones you have.

I have tried variations, but Libero helps in build uo and scores sometimes using early crosses.

This has been my favourite tactic I’ve used so far this year. Always loved playing a 523 and having a ST score lots, and this is ideal! Didn't make too many signings, but brought in McTominay and Dimarco season 1 (Won Champions League), Santos in season 2 (Won League and Cup), bought Baleba and basically traded Fernandez for Rice in January of Season 3 (Won League, League Cup and Champions League).

 

Retrained McTominay to play TF in season 2 and he’s only gone and broken Haaland’s record by getting 38 league goals - he’s insane! Also retrained James to play Libero which he excels at. No other tactic I’ve tried works as well as this with Chelsea (even 5212 villa and Black Hawk) - huge thanks to you @polaris21!
 

Going to try in the Scottish Championship and see what it can do!

Insane tactic. Best tactic out of all tactics i have tried on this platform. Currently trying to tweak it so i can use it with small teams.

I am using this aswell after tinkering around..however I have Attacking, Narrow, Fast, Expressive, then just shoot on sight...getting very good results. Currently works with both my Preston save in league 1 with a weak squad and also Leeds in prem

For small teams, my recommendation would be go for Narrow width

I am glad mates it works for you. 

And its so overwhelming that you guys are so smart to mention about tweaking system of tactic!!

To other guys trying out various tactic or even this,  you have to keep in mind, no tactic is plug and play!
If you are using a team that is not comfortable on ball and you make them play high tempo passing style, they will lose ball easily, or you are using TF role as striker but your best striker does not even have 15 heading.

So its best to first analyse your squad, and tweak tactic according to it, or buy players that fit the roles of tactic.

This tactic should work with top teams no problem. 

But the issue ccomes when playing with mid/bottom table teams and lower league teams. 

I have made few tweaks to this tactic, currently I am testing with Brighton and Leeds in premier league with default squads/no signings. 
If the results are fruitful, will make follow up post soon!
If anyone else is interested in testing, let me know, I will be happy to share.

As a man looking for a tactic that'll stop Leeds from being awful I'm all for it!

This is the system you can try for small teams. Dont expect to dominate and win the league but it should perfrom better for most part.

I'm about to start a new save as Newcastle with this.

When you get chance, would you mind supplying the attributes you look for, for each of the positions?

no mate I have played the tactics like a rookie would play. Auto selection of squad, substitions made only when player was injured. 

Training and youth development was all delegated to staff and since I never made any purchases so made use of players available for disposal. 

My aim was for making tactic, my results should be base line, if you are making subsitutions, training them as per roles and buy players meant for position, you should do better than the results posted.

crazy results with Villa, didn't realise uptil now they had such a good squad. Zero defeats, still testing lets see how it unfolds...

Results with updated tactic-- 
 

Please note that I tested this tactic in very basic settings like disabled team talks, auto pick squad, default set pieces/corner routines, training and match prep delegated... in short I just tested the tactic, so the results must be the baseline results and you should be getting better results if you play the game as it should be, like using best  palyers in right positions, team talk, coner routines, using development hub and traininng players for roles and positions.

1) Leeds United 


should have finished in 5th but last 3 games were not in favour. 



Now this was unexpected, really!! winning FA cup  with Leeds 

2) Brighton 



expected better results from Brighton, but.. 



overall I guess the tactic performs better in cup runs since was able to reach final but lost on pens.

3) Aston Villa 



very satisfied with results, consistent and dependable. 



Again doing far better in UEL. 

Will again post final results with Aston and also try on my beloved Manchested United, since they are crap in real world.

As I mentioned above buddy, I just tested in very basic settings, my goal was to only test the tactic keeping other variables at minimum

So I just played with default set pieces. 

However if you are asking for set piece routine works best, my choicefor corner routine would always be near post delivery with mark keeper and 2 players at near post and far post, easily gives 5-10 goals booost depending on team quailty.
