I have today purchased FC26 and have been amazed by the new 'Live Seasons' feature...for those of you that haven't come across it basically you take charge of your team with their current standings in real life! 

This has made me wonder how amazing that feature would be in FM...surely that would be easy to implement???? 

Would players welcome this feature?

You made a mistake buying that piece of junk game instead of FM 26 Console Edition (it's magical)! The idea itself is interesting, but the implementation has always been a problem for 'EA Script FC Scam' because they are greedy for money and obsessed with scamming people. It wouldn’t surprise me if, in the near future, Career Mode can only be unlocked by using your credit card (this never happened on the console version, but it was like that on mobile in the 2014 & 2015 editions).

I believe this because, on consoles this year, they introduced a paid tier in Ultimate Team (online mode); the Season Pass went from free to pay-to-win, and player upgrades are similarly pay-to-win. Meanwhile, they pretend not to notice the scamming, the scripting, the bugs, the lag, the pathetic servers, the hackers, and so on.

I don’t know how big of a fan you are of the series, but in August, they posted presentation videos on YouTube making the game look imperial. However, once the game launched, the magic of their promises lasted only 4 days until the first update. Then, after another 5 days, another update came, totaling 3 updates within 3 weeks of launch. These updates reintroduced all the garbage that many thought had disappeared from the previous game and from the first 4 days of the new one.

This is the tactic of this thieving company to lure people in, and unfortunately, many fall prey to their lies. I’ve played FIFA since '97 all the way up to FC 24, but I couldn't do it anymore. Their mockery is too much; they effectively don't care about the community and will never stop delivering a finished, scripted, scam of a game. I never played Career Mode in 'FC Scam,' only the online UT mode. Anyway, I sincerely hope that for the EA Script FC Scam 27 edition, they suffer even bigger losses than they did with FC 24 & FC 25. Gradually, they will fall into... I won't say where—and only then, perhaps, will they come back down to earth and deliver a proper game.

Personally, I would love that feature, but it's not really easy to implement.

Just to point out the most obvious issues - adding internet connection to a game that has never really required one, possible need for the servers that would add more expenses, and probably the biggest issue - constant updates for a team that is arguably not big enough.

Absolutely yes. FMM is a really great and successful game. Its most important difference from other management games on the market is that it can be played without an internet connection.
