Help I can't understand the stats of the players

Hello guys, I know which features of the roles they want when I buy players when I play Fm26, but I have question marks about how to interpret all the features, for example, what the features in the Mental part do, what some of the features in the technical part of the game do, I don't know them, can you tell me in the game engine?

You mean the player ‘attributes’ - like aerial, aggression, pace … ?

Quick Guide

Physical

  • Aerial - ability to jump + head the ball - a mixture of jumping (inc. height) + heading 
  • Pace - ability to run fast (without the ball) - mix of acceleration + pace
  • Stamina - ability to ‘keep running’ / be less tired.
  • Strength - ability to ‘hold off’ other players + pass/shoot powerfully (?)

Technical

  • Crossing - ability to cross
  • Dribbling - ability to dribble (with the ball)
  • Passing - ability to pass the ball to a teammate
  • Shooting - ability to shoot - mix of finishing + long shots
  • Tackling - ability to tackle opposition players
  • Technique - not 100% sure - could be ‘first touch’ and/or a general modifier on all other technical attributes.

Mental

  • Aggression - how aggressive players press / tackle / act - see link below
  • Creativity - ability to ‘see passes’ / spot creative opportunities
  • Decisions - ability to make the right decisions at the right time (e.g. pass vs shoot)
  • Leadership - ability to lead the team - useful for Captains / Vice-Captains (and also keepers, as influences ‘Communications’ attribute)
  • Movement - only for attacking - see link below
  • Positioning - only for Defending - see link below
  • Teamwork - mix of Unselfishness + Work Rate

Does height actually matter? I know it exists in the game and have also found it in the hex, but as far as I know it only matters for the PC version, not mobile. Could be wrong, though. There's many myths about FMM.

The games lead dev. posted this yesterday - this is why I said “aerial = jumping* + heading” where *jumping = a combo of jumping reach + height

Height is certainly important because sometimes, when the game is stalled, you can use your height to perhaps score a goal and win the match, or at least settle for a point. Height can also sometimes give you an advantage in terms of physical condition and strength compared to other players.

Height even not matter in PC. Jumping height does.

@rseven is correct. The plsyers height does NOT matter in FMM / Mobile. It is already included into the ‘aerial’ attribute.

So, increasing the player's height should automatically reflect in his aerial attribute going up?

It does make sense, but I never thought about it 🤔
