Season 2 Update – Jude goes nuclear

Alright time for the Season 2 update!

If Season 1 was a breakthrough year… Season 2 was Jude Bellingham going absolutely nuclear.

And now that I’m also England manager, this career has opened up on a whole new level.

Jude Bellingham – Season 2 numbers

Let’s start with the headline:

IMG-5297.jpg

IMG-5298.jpg

Jude finished the season with 82 goals for club and 17 goals for England.

That’s 99 goals in total this year.

So close to 100… but still an insane return. For a player who started this save as a midfielder, this is just ridiculous.

IMG-5234.jpg

He did have a setback though. In February he suffered a damaged shoulder that kept him out for about a month. That probably cost him a few more goals… and maybe that magical 100 mark.

Still, what a season.

Individual honours

IMG-5229.jpg

This was the year he got the recognition as well.

Jude won the Ballon d’Or, finishing ahead of Ousmane Dembélé and Achraf Hakimi. PSG were heavily represented in the voting, but Jude’s numbers were just too much to ignore.

One Ballon d’Or down, seven more to go for the GOAT challenge.

Real Madrid – absolute dominance

La Liga

IMG-5284.jpg

We dominated again.

Only one loss all season… and yes, once again it was Barcelona. The rivalry is alive and well. But the gap to second place was huge, and the goal difference tells the real story. This team is just ridiculously strong defensively and going forward.

Copa del Rey

IMG-5290.jpg

We won the Spanish Cup again, beating Villarreal in the final. Jude opened the scoring and Vinícius Júnior added the second. Another final, another big Jude moment.

Spanish Super Cup

IMG-5289.jpg

We also lifted the Super Cup against Zaragoza. Jude scored four times in that game, although two were ruled out. Could easily have been even more madness.

UEFA Super Cup

IMG-5288.jpg

We beat Copenhagen to win the UEFA Super Cup as well. Another trophy in the cabinet.

Champions League

IMG-5291.jpg

And yes… we won the Champions League again.

Final was a Spanish clash against Sevilla. The game ended 3–1. Sevilla even helped us with an own goal, and Jude scored twice including one in the 91st minute to seal it.

Big game. Big moment. Again.

GOAT Challenge Progress – Season 2 Summary

Another incredible season for Jude, and this time it wasn’t just about trophies and big performances, it was a proper record-breaking year. He smashed the all-time record for most goals in a single season and also went past the legendary 91 goals in a calendar year. On top of that, he kept building towards the long-term milestones, adding heavily to his Champions League career total and getting his international goal tally properly underway now that I’m in charge of England.

Off the pitch… trouble

IMG-5303.jpg

Now for the less glorious part.

After going big in the transfer market this year, I got a message from the FA that the club is under investigation for breaching financial regulations.

IMG-5305.jpg

Turns out I overspent by 125 million…

So yeah… not ideal.

I clearly hadn’t played in a while and forgot to keep an eye on the financial rules. Whether I can fix this in Season 3, and what the consequences will be, I honestly don’t know yet.

But we move. Bear with me 😅

If Season 2 already looked like this… I’m scared (and excited) to see what Season 3 brings.

More updates soon 👊

How has Endrick development in your career? Is he your back up striker ? Could you show us his stats ? Thanks

He is indeed my back up striker. I did bring in Giroud to grow his aerial, which has been decent, but I haven’t really focussed on his development.

So this is him now

IMG-5558.png

I would say decent development and results considering he hardly plays more then 25 minutes per game.

For aerial training/development, what’s the minimum Aerial stat needed for a mentor?

Is 15+ already good enough, or does it really need to be 17+ to be effective? Also, regarding mentoring resets:

should we restart mentoring at the first or second notification?

For example, if at the first notification the Aerial stat hasn’t increased yet, should we restart it immediately, or wait until the stat actually goes up before restarting?

Sorry if that’s too many questions, and thanks in advance.

Good questions! Mentoring is one of those areas where it’s hard to know exactly how the game calculates things, so I can only share what has worked for me.

For Aerial, I don’t know if there’s an official minimum number. From my experience, the higher the mentor’s Aerial stands out compared to the player, the better the chance it seems to get passed on. Around 15 can work, but when I used someone with 17+ it felt more consistent. That’s just based on what I’ve seen in my save though.

The most important thing for me has been checking the mentoring partnership screen. If it doesn’t specifically mention that the player might improve in the air or with heading-related traits, I don’t expect Aerial to go up from that partnership.

As for resetting mentoring, I tend to stop and restart it regularly, even if I haven’t seen a visible stat increase yet. The messages just tell you the partnership is active. In my save, cycling mentoring like this seemed to give more chances at attribute bumps over time, but again, that’s just what I’ve experienced.

So this isn’t a guaranteed method just the approach that has worked for me so far.

Season 3 Update – Jude breaks the game

Season 3 is done… and this one had everything. Drama off the pitch, red cards, investigations, point deductions and somehow Jude still managed to go completely bonkers

Off-field chaos before a ball was kicked

IMG-5306.jpg

We ended last season under investigation for financial issues after some enthusiastic transfer spending. To fix it, I had to make a few deals I didn't want to make and shuffle things around to balance the books.

In the end, we started the new season with a 3-point deduction. Honestly, that could have been much worse. I’ll take -3 over -15 any day.

The funny part? Several players had notes on their profiles saying they were worried we might lose the league title because of the deduction. Little did they know what was coming.

UEFA Super Cup – red card, still champions

IMG-5307.jpg

We kicked off the season in the UEFA Super Cup against Dortmund.

It turned into a proper scrap. Jude got sent off in the 41st minute… but not before scoring what turned out to be the winning goal. We held on with ten men and lifted the first trophy of the season.

Not the cleanest start, but a very “this save in a nutshell” moment.

Jude – World Player of the Year (again)

IMG-5319.jpg

Jude won World Player of the Year for the second time, finishing ahead of Désiré Doué and Álvaro Carreras. Yes, that same Carreras I sold for whopping 140M earlier to help sort out the financial mess. Painful, but necessary at the time.

Jude now has: 2× World Player of the Year / Ballon d’Or

Spanish Super Cup – Barcelona taken apart

IMG-5387.jpg

In January we met Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final and completely dominated. Goals from Jude, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Vinícius Júnior sealed it. Rodrygo then decided to kick Arthur in the 94th minute and got himself sent off in the 95th. Completely unnecessary… but we had already wrapped it up.

La Liga – unbeaten and ridiculous

IMG%205441.jpg

This was one of those seasons where everything clicked.

We went unbeaten, finished on 107 points, conceded only 13 goals, and ended with a ridiculous +122 goal difference. This team is honestly starting to feel overpowered.

IMG-5401.jpg

One standout moment was the derby against Atlético. We had 20 shots with 13 on target versus their 3 shots with 2 on target… and Jude scored six goals in that match.

Most importantly for the record chase: Jude scored 67 league goals this season.

.IMG-5407.jpg

Champions League – much tougher this time

This year the Champions League run was a lot less comfortable than before.

IMG-5404.jpg

The first real warning sign came in the quarter-final. In the second leg, Bayern beat us 2–1 with two goals from Harry Kane, which made the tie suddenly feel very tight and far from routine.

IMG-5406.jpg

Then it nearly went wrong in the semi-final against Barcelona. We were pushed all the way into extra time, and it took an Endrick goal in the 116th to get us over the line and into the final.

IMG-5411.jpg

In the final we faced Atlético Madrid and won 1-0. Not the free-flowing run from previous seasons, but a proper grind and we still ended up lifting the trophy. Jude scored 21 Champions League goals this season.

Copa del Rey – business as usual

IMG-5405.jpg

The Spanish Cup final was against Villarreal and we won 3–0. Jude scored twice again. Another trophy, another big-game performance from him.

Jude Bellingham – The Goal Machine Continues

IMG%205447.jpg

IMG%205448.jpg

Another season, another ridiculous return from Jude. What started as a midfielder experiment has now turned into a full-blown goal machine.

GOAT Challenge Progress – Season 3 Summary

Season 3 was the one where the team went full cheat mode. Unbeaten league campaign, 107 points, only 13 conceded, and Jude smashed the single-season league goals record with 67.

In Europe he added 21 Champions League goals, taking his UCL total to 64. Internationally he scored 20 this season, moving to 44 total, and since taking over England he has 37 goals in 26 games.

Season 3 coming to an end

So that wraps up Season 3, a year where the team went full cheat mode and Jude kept shredding record books like it’s nothing.

League unbeaten, Europe conquered again, and the GOAT numbers are starting to look less like fantasy and more like inevitability.

But before we even think about Season 4… there’s a small matter of the European cup coming up. With Jude in this kind of international form, that tournament could seriously shake up the record tracker... but

Mini update on the Euros coming soon! Thanks for reading.

EURO Update – Jude runs the continent

So before Season 4 even kicked off, we had a small matter of the European Championship.

And straight away, the draw gave us no favours. Group B turned into a proper group of death with Germany, Portugal and Norway. Serious teams just to get out of the group.

IMG%205403.jpg

Group Stage

IMG%205418.jpg

We started against Norway. Bit of a cautious opener, but a professional 2–0 win to settle the nerves.

Then came Portugal. I somehow lost the screenshot for that one, but it was a proper game. We won 4–2 in a really open match, and that result ended up being massive for the group standings.

IMG%205417.jpg

Next up was Germany… and that turned into a statement. A 5–1 win, with two Bellinghams on the scoresheet. Jude did his thing, and Jobe decided he wanted in on the family business too.

That result blew the group wide open and sent us through with real momentum.

IMG%205422.jpg

Knockouts

Round of 16 – Scotland

IMG%205423.jpg

A proper Battle of Britain.

In reality, not much of a battle. Jude grabbed a hat-trick and we brushed Scotland aside without too much drama.

Quarter-final – Belgium

IMG%205424.jpg

This one was tighter. We were in control for most of the game, but Belgium pulled one back in the 91st minute to make it nervy. Still, a 3–2 win and we were through.

Semi-final – Ukraine

IMG%205426.jpg

Ukraine shocked us early with Dovbyk scoring in the 11th minute. Not the start you want in a semi.

But Bellingham and Gordon stepped up when it mattered and turned it around. Another comeback, another step closer to the trophy.

Final – England vs Italy

IMG%205429.jpg

The final was against Italy, and it was tight for a long time.

Then in the 74th minute, Jude made it 1–0.

Anthony Gordon added a second in the 86th minute, and even though Italy pulled one back in stoppage time, it was too late.

England are European champions!

Individual Awards

IMG%205430.jpg

IMG%205431.jpg

Jude was named Player of the Tournament and finished as top scorer with 13 goals.

IMG%205432.jpg

Jobe Bellingham also picked up Best Young Player of the Tournament, which made it a pretty special summer for the family.

Tournament wrap-up & record impact

So that’s the Euros done. European champions, Jude named player of the tournament, and 13 goals in a single edition of the tournament.

Those 13 goals mean he breaks the all-time record for most goals in a single European Championship, moving past the previous mark of 9 set by Michel Platini. That’s a big one ticked off on the international side of the challenge.

It also gives his overall international goal tally a serious boost, bringing him closer to the long-term career targets we’re chasing.

Not a bad summer at all.

Next up: back to club football for Season 4.
