Career 1k Challenege

So the games been out for quite a while now but I've struggled to really get into it.

What better way than a 1k challenge.

Thought I'd do it with a bit of a twist to keep things exciting.

So, I've left it up to you guys to decide where we go for it.

I've never actually seen the poll been used before so not 100% sure if it will work.

I'll open it up to both Nation and Player.

To spice it up I will only be adding league and players I haven't really ever used.

 

Wont be able to add team as I wont know the nation before I start, do the next question will be random team or select team.

 

Obviously this will have a massive impact on the player of choice.

So if I cant get the player with the team I get then I will roll again.

- Note that I am not 100% sure if all these players are available in mobile version, just some randoms I picked from FM Inside.  If one is unavailable will use the next highest voted, and so on.

Will let it run for one more day then start at the weekend

His stats ain't great at all. Might have our hands full.

We have the joint second player as our backup also in the form of Daoason.

 

Let's see what we can do 1st season.

Never played the Danish league before so not sure how many domestic games we play.

1st order is upgrade facilities and coaching staff.

Secondly need to sort out the team.

There's about 5 players who would probably be starters that are long time injured. 1 up to a year. Not great.

Will have to scout about the world for some decent young players.

Looking for wing backs, centre mids and centre backs. 

Any suggestions?

Try to pick up Shabashvili (or however it’s spelled), the young left wing-back. He’s always been great for me and usually dirt cheap.

Already picked him up. 

Never used him for long enough to see how he turns out.

Ha. You’re not making it easy for yourself! I had a test with Celtic and it was slow. Almost there with the tweaks but nowhere near the amount of goals being scored as previous years. 
 

Maybe a smaller league is the way forward…

RB - Copenhagen have one of the best young right backs in the game with Mexican lad (I forget his name 😂). Georgian left back as you’ve already said.

Season 1

 

Progressing nicely.

Took a while to get him cooking but once I settled on a formation the goals came flying in

 

Domestically we dominated. 

Strange set up with the league.

From what i can see is you play everyone once then the top half play a further 3 times. I think.

Save has been spread out so not managed to pay that much attention.

 

Not the best budget but managed to get a few decent you players in and some players out for decent money.

Hopefully do some magic close season.

Cor blimey 😳 done well there buddy they play 22 games, then it's split into 2. One for the championship and one for relegation. There play twice to make it 32 games. Abit like Scotland lol 😆

Good knowledge. 

I played it over like a week so didnt really know what was going on.

He's turning into a bit of a beast.

Just need some good wingers in and we'll be flying i reckon

Season 2

 

Flying this season.

Got some good young players through the youth system.

Once they develop we'll be unstoppable!!

 

2 seasons down 876 goals to go

Season 3

His stats are still pretty poor overall.

Good for what we need though.

That's the most important part.

Another fairly successful season.

another 76 goals to add to the tally.

takes him up to 200 in 3 seasons.

Starting to pick up a bit now.

Unfortunately no champs league qualifiers and we managed to slip into the top 8 so no playoff. Hence less games.

Managing to keep injury free so far also which is a nice bonus

Dominated again domestically and one step further in the champions league.

Maybe season 4 we can make it all the way??

Spent a fair chunk of change this season trying to improve certain areas.

Also managed to get a fair bit of cash into the club from some wheeling and dealing.

Onto season 4 we go

Season 4

Still scoring the goals.

Beat last seasons number convincingly. Push now for 100 

287 goals in 4 season. Flying along now 

 

Some more changes to the team.

Half my team is made up of academy products and the other quarter are wonder kids and regens.

We won it all domestically. 

Literally. Every game of the season. Been a while since managed that.

Pretty sure a 1st in FM26 

Also managed to FM Real Madrid in the final (makes a change from it happening to me)

Some might say, came back from the "Brink" of defeat.

 

Hoping to get closer to 100 next season but not really seeing much growth from him. 

Although hes a decent young player, I feel he has plateaued already.

Would have been fun to see what a real young wonder kid with potential could do in this league

Are 1k tactics actually better than regular tactics? I understand that initially, it will be a struggle due to be doing so vulnerable at the back. However, it seems that when you eventually level up, it just feels so much fun and more effective. But I could be wrong. I'm just curious

I'm trying to do a 1K run and am 3 season in an my forward is always ending up going into the next game at 70-odd-ish percent this season, which obviously has an impact on goal tally. Any advice appreciated.

Never done a 1k challenge before but what several people who have accomplished it do is low intensity training for the player and taking him off after 60-70 minutes every game
