Normally if I'm winning by a goal after say 70 mins, I Normally just put my formation to contain, offside trap and time wasting both on. Normally does work 99 percent of the time 

I play 2 in CM so sometimes I might push the 2 CMs back into that DM role, just for added protection with the above added

I’ve been told this ‘defensive 41410’ still works well on FMM26.

If you’re not a top top team, then I’d use the 2nd variant (with direct passes down the flanks)

… BUT someone probably has a FMM26 specific defensive tactic which is better than this ☝️
