The 1000 goal challenge

The aim of the challenge is pretty simple, to get any player to score 1000 goals in his career.

I think it could be interesting to see how people get the best from different types of players over a number a seasons, it might start of easy when he's young and scores every game but can you still get him to score when his attributes start to decline?

Just realized if your player plays 20 seasons, he needs 50 goals per season to get to 1000 :mellow:

I was in my 22nd season with shrewsbury before the game crashed, anyway i had this player for ten years. He is a regen though

I bought him when he was 23, and the game crashed when he was 33. Stiill scoring about 40-50 a season at 33!

I don't know yet, but it would be very hard to do. By the way, I had the feeling Bromley was Rooney's regen

If you manage a brazilian club who are in the Sao Paulo state championship and in the continental competitions then you play 70+ matches each season, that will make it a bit easier.

I decided to start this on my Dortmund save to keep me intested for 30 seasons.(15 seasons completed)

I chose 17 year old Zoran Moore and after 1 season he's got 40 in 35 at club level, at international level he's hasn't scored in 6 games so i've applied for the England job to get him to score even more

Only 960 goals to go :unsure:

I decided to use Lucas Gaúcho from Sao Paulo, and what a player he is.

In his first season he has scored 66 goals in 70 games and 7 goals in 7 for Brazil.

Closest I've got is my regen Liam Grainger with 258 goals in 272 games...

He's a striker, I signd him from Carlisle for £3 million, then when I moved from Villa to Spurs I took him with me for £42.5 million...
