Best game ever. I got over half way through Black but then lost my game so I plan on trying again, just need to download it.

Out of curiosity, anybody played Platinum? If so what is the 'Distortion World' like?

I call it distorted English. It is what they speak in the Distortion world or whatever it is called :rolleyes:.

By the way, I have completed:

Emerald: 3 times

Diamond: 9 times

Platinum: 1 time

Heartgold: 1 time

Black: 1 time

PMD blue team: 4 times

PMD explorers of time: 11 times

PMD explorers of sky: 1 time

Pokemon Ranger: 3 times

And, Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs: 1 time.

I remember this Pokemon thing first starting. I was the perfect age for it but its not really my thing but quite shocked its still going though they must have made mountains of cash out of it. The kids that used to be flicking through each others cards saying " got " or " need ". Really Annoying.

Ive played Platinum and the Distoration World probably wouldnt be one of my favourite places list...

By this do you mean its not good or its just really scary? ;) :lol:

But I'm going to play Platinum anyway, other week I downloaded GBC/A and DS emulators along with Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Fire Red, Platinum, Soul Silver and Black to play them all in order. I'm currently part way through Crystal.

Moving current discussion about Pokemon from favourite video game thread to here;

I will exterminate each and every one of your Pokemon in a flash :)

Start posting some teams and I show how I would counter them:

Ray's Lanturn:

Electivire's Earthquake

Ollie's Regigias, Snorlax and Slaking are all incredibly slow so my Jolteon could possibly defeat them.

Also, my team has on UU or OU and possibly a NU, not a single Uber.

How I would beat you (I am using a Damage Calculator to tell you how long it would take (with no items)

Your team consists of mainly Normal-types so my Electivire's Cross Chop can take them out (Slaking not so easily.) Also, your Pokemon seem to be very slow apart from Gengar and Raikou, and then Regigigas and Slaking's abilities mean it misses a turn.

My Swellow has a Toxic Orb-Guts combo, meaning that it would deal Gengar a minimum of 256 (over 400 with a critical-hit).

Infernape will deal with Metagross, dealing 312 maximum when Blaze is in use.

Electivire takes care of Raikou: dealing 283 maximum.

Togekiss comes in and out, paralyzing and flinching everything in sight.
