  1. Until this season I always thought he Grealish was just flicks and tricks. But now that Villa have brought in Watkins and Barkley, he actually has a chance to show real skill instead of having to dribble through 3 defenders just to attempt any kind of shot.
  2. Halfway through the international break Liverpool Lose two key players, Joe Gomez who picked up a knee injury in training, and Mo Salah who has tested positive for Covid-19. Add these long term loss of Virgil Van Dijk, and the injuries of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Fabhino and Liverpool are looking more and more vulnerable. Nathaniel Phillips, Rhys Williams and Sepp van den Berg are the only options to pair with Joel Matip at center back. With January transfer rumors swirling who will "The Normal One" and Liverpool look to bring in January. Some likely options are Dayot Upamecano(RB Leipzig) , Ben White(Brighton), and Conor Coady(Wolverhampton). Will this covid-19 affected season bring an unexpected Champion like 2015? Yes....No... Either way it is certainly going to be a crazy season.
  3. In an interview earlier this week with ESPN(Link at Bottom), Sergiño Dest intimated that The USMNT have lofty ambitions. Stating that the 2022 Cup will be an experience but by the 2026 games the US will be an International top contender. The 2026 Cup will be Joint hosted by Canada, United States, and Mexico.Over the past few weeks, while Christian Pulisic was injured, the rest of the U.S. stars shined in some of the worlds best competition. Between them, Adams, Dest, Reyna, and McKennie have really shown significant promise in both domestic and Champions league matches. Not to mention the likes of Josh Sargent and Timothy Weah. This team has a lot of promise. What do you guys think, can you see a future Golden Generation for the U.S. ? Do you think one of the host countries will win the 2026 World Cup? 4. It should be Robo at LWB, Tierney at LCB, Grant Hanley from Norwich, Liam Cooper at RCB and RWB is a little hard to get a hold on but nobody can convince me that playing McTominay is better than McKenna or Hanley.
  5. Scotland have to be realistic with the talent they have. First they need a system where they can play their best players which are all defensive players. I'm thinking a back 5.
  6. I got tired of my usual 4-1-2-2-1 or 3-5-2 that I always play with. So I tinkered and tested until I got this beauty. I've used it with Sevilla, Leicester, and The USMNT. So this tactic is how you should start the game but around the 70 minute mark you should switch from Control to Counter. Also move the back line to normal instead of A high line. This will help keep clean sheets. So because of the compact, high pressing style everyone on the squad save the the two strikers must have at least a 10 rated tackling skill. Also the AP that plays in directly behind the strikers needs to have a good scoring ability because the TM often sets up some good chances. The rest of the team is pretty self explanatory. One more thing this tactic does have a Kryptonite of sorts. The 4-2-2-2. I went 0-8 against teams that played with the 4-2-2-2, including teams I should have easily defeated.
  7. It's that 17 pace. And he's always so cheap to buy.
  8. Career year:1 Team: Sunderland Finish: 2nd in Skybet League 1, EFL Trophy Win New signings:A lot Exits: A lot Best Player: Osayamen Osawe Best Young player: Rober So I've started my career with the downtrodden Sunderland. I pretty much sold most of the team with the exception of Will Griggs, Max Power, and a few others. I made out really well with these free transfers. In fact 6 of these players ended up in my Starting XI. I played depending on the competition either a high possession 4-2-3-1 or a counter attacking version against better sides. My top Scorer was Will Griggs with 21 goals in 42 appearances. My top creator was Bicho the free signing with 10 assists. Personally having watched every game my Player of the Year was Osayamen Osawe. I signed him for 575k. He had 18 goals and 8 assists in 38 appearances. However, many of his goals came in crucial moments often scoring late to win a game. Now as results go I finished second in the league earning automatic promotion to the championship. I also defeated Portsmouth to win the EFL Trophy. For season 2 I m hoping to improve the club financially and improve in these positions: BWM, CD, GK. Player to watch:
