    Transfers Out

Kerui was sold for a record transfer fee for a Chinese player with Nottm Forest picking him up for 10mil. Rest were sold as they were not needed.
    Transfers In

Snagged a big fish in Coman who we brought in for 86mil from Bayern.  Idowu was brought in to give us another option in the full back position.

    Season Performance

Not a good season when compared to the last few. I had a major injury issue during this season as most of my regulars were out for a long period of time. Sobhi and Aspas went for 3 months while Coman, Bentaleb and Ayew all went for two months. Club World Championship and CFA Cup was literally played with my reserve XI.

    League Performance
So, as you can see the injuries definitely impacted our performance as for the first time in the career, we were not leading in either goals or assists.

    Main Man

After his injury, he just couldn't put on his striking shoe and ultimately it led to us having the weakest season in terms of goals.

    235/1000 -> 765 to go.

Still cannot get hold of a decent striker. Lebandowski, Mario Gomez, Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez all snubbed us as they wanted to retire. Ultimately, i had no choice but to sign a midfielder who i would try to retrain:
This is already looking like a long save due to lack of proper players.

Looking at the Toulouse squad, they seem like a small but talented bunch. So I decided to play this leg of the challenge “as-is” and not get any loanees or frees.
And pretty soon we’re off on another Keeganesque roller coaster ride of goals, goals, goals!
    August and September Games
So a couple of loses but lots of goals and good results show that my faith in the Toulouse squad wasn’t misplaced. This team are looking good.

    October and November Games
Some big wins and finishing with an amazingly resilient draw away to PSG even when down to 10 men.

    December Games
The month of draws.....but no loses. And still goals!
So at the mid point in the season, this team is looking strong and this is the end of calendar year table

Wow, Toulouse are sitting in a Champions League spot. Where will this roller coaster finish at the end of a season that is proving a fun as the Fulham one?

Part 3 – January to May
Welcome to the third and final part of my first FMM19 challenge.
When we last meet I had got the season up to the 1st of Jan and we were sitting pretty at the top of the table and had a Coppa Italia 1st round tie versus Sampdoria and a Champions League 1st knockout round against Liverpool to look forward to.
    Here the current league table.
In January I decide to try and bring in some more players of different nationalities for a few more bonus points. The MLS contracts tend to expire in December/January time so I offered a few players deals and managed to get in two more lads. It should have been five more but three of the transfers never went through possibly because there contracts expired after the Italian transfer window had shut.
Neither of these guys will play many more then 1 game for me just to get the points but this was who I got.
This means I will have used 11 different nationalities in this season giving me 11 bonus points.
    January
Our first game back after the winter break was a cup game versus Sampdoria and clearly my guys had enjoyed the break a little too much as we crashed out the cup at the first hurdle. It was an even game as many have been so far this season and we came out the worst of it.
This is a blow to our final score as every cup round we negotiate is an extra 3 points on my challenge score and as I don’t expect much in the Champions League I was banking on a good cup run.

Only three games in January but two loses was not the way to resume this save!

    February
The Champions League returned this month and a tough trip to Anfield brought another defeat. I would have loved an away goal but 1-0 wasn’t the end of the world considering we got dominated and with the home leg to come were we would blitz them.

In the league we got over the Cagliari defeat with three straight wins including a 3-0 revenge job on Napoli and another win over The Old Lady as we came from 2-1 down to win 3-2.

We did end the month with a stodgy 0-0 against Sassuolo which took the gloss of the month a little.

    March
The biggest game this month was the return leg versus Liverpool as we looked to overturn a 1-0 deficit and progress.

Nope we crash out in an even game although Liverpool had 2 CCC to our none. I never expected huge success in the Champions League and Liverpool was a tough ask but it was still gutting to get knocked out this early.
This means we just have the league left to win and wins over Genoa, Chievo and Frosinone kept us on track until we met Inter at the end of the month…
    .
Another league defeat over one of the big boys and not just that we really didn’t play well.

    April
We are really into the business end of the season now.
We took on Torino in a tough game as they were challenging for a Champions League spot at the start of the month but we made it back to back 1-0 loses.

We bounced back with wins over Empoli and Bologna before we took on Milan at the Stadio Olimpico

We dominated but just couldn’t create that CCC that would win us the game.
Worse was to come in the next game as we crashed to defeat at Atalanta and we thoroughly deserved to lose it as well.

So a mixed month left us 4 points clear at the top of the table over Torino with their city rivals Juve a further point back with just four matches left to play.
    May
This is the four games we had left and our fate was firmly in our own hands as three wins would see us crowned champions. The penultimate game against Lazio sticks out for me.

We started off on the run in by taking on our cup conquerors Sampdoria.

The perfect revenge as we take another step closer to the title.
Next up was an away trip and a win here could mean we would go into the Rome derby with a chance of winning the league.

No issues and that leaves us on the brink of the title.

We beat Lazio and we are Champions and it won’t matter what Juventus do in an easy game versus Frosione.
At half time Juventus were winning and had cut our lead at the top to 3 points and we only had 1 goal advantage in the goal difference.

    A time for heroes….
    Conclusion
First lets take a look at our player stats
    Nations used
Our final challenge points work out like this.
    ·        League: 88 pts
    ·        GD: +52
    ·        Cup first round exit: 0 pts
    ·        Champions League 1st knockout round exit: 3 pts
    ·        11 nations: 11 pts
    Total: 143 pts
Crashing out the cup in the first round was the biggest disappointment in this season for me and the champions league as well but success in that competition would have been tricky against the calibre of teams in that. Winning the league was awesome and although we lost more games than I would have wanted we still did it in some style considering the squad I had. Add to that the fact we only conceded 35 goals in 47 games with the limited defenders we had was a huge plus for me as well.
Above all that though was the fact I got to use some players I never would have done in normal circumstances and that was what I wanted. I love squad building and hunting out that player that overall might look bobbins but in the context of the challenge I have set could really do a good job.
In the intro I said that I spent on average £8.2m per player in my squad. That kind of money buys you nothing yet I built a squad that won Serie A and that makes me so damned happy 😀
Thank you to everyone who has read this short career and an even bigger thank you to those of you who have commented. I will leave you with the song that inspired the team to the title and the name of this career.

    Cheers lads

    END OF SEASON TWO!!
So the second season is DONE!
Some interesting transfer rumours about the lads

Could we see more of them moving on??

Liverpool win the Premier League in front of Man City! While Man City also finish Runner Up in the Champions League! Always the Bridesmaid for them
Nothing big for anyway of the Wonderkids though unfortunately but hopefully all that will change next season!

Van Snickelrooy showing off a value of £9.75m which is miles ahead of anyone else!

Fabio Silva, who hasn't retired yet, up there once more with the scoring and on a higher league as well still with Dulwich! Cawley hit 17 last term and hit 20 this time round so showing really top consistency at a young age is great to see

So then onto the SUMMER TRANSFERS that happened!!!!!!! Exciting times!!

WOW!!!! Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal go for our boys!!!! Leeds and Port Vale also dip into our products for talent!!
Really hope we see some game time for these lads this season!

So then here we go! It has begun now with some proper deals gone through for the lads!

    Season One - Part One
After a trouble free journey across the sea, I reached Northern Ireland. Crusaders were convinced to fight with me in my attempt to conquer my first kingdom. I felt that the squad would need an upgrade before being able to do this, so eleven players left, while eleven players also joined up with the team.
The season started off with European qualifiers, which would not result in player losses. I was up against Rosenborg in the Champions League First Qualifying Round.
A cup competition that could result in player loss was the Bet McLean League Cup. We joined in the second round, and were away to NIFL Championship side Dundela.
We haven't played any Irish Cup games yet, so on to the last competition that we can lose players in. The Danske Bank Premiership.
We have also played in other competitions not affecting player losses.
My manager record so far is not too bad.

That's the first half of the campaign over, next up is the January transfer window where I'll look to offload the lost players, and maybe try and bring some new blood into the team.
    And remember...

Started without a transfer budget and Normal reputation

With apologies to any Valladolid suporters but their squad is very weak so the only solution is to take advantage of La Liga not having any loan restrictions 😉

The new look Valladolid squad seemed to take everyone by surprise and in one of those meaningless tables after 3 games, we were top!

Needless to say, it didn’t last but we have ended the calendar year in a respectable position.

Interestingly this season the exact same tactics aren’t producing the same exciting goalfests as Fulham did - we now seem to be the Kings of Draws!

    Season 3 Update
Season 3 results are in. Let's just start with the transfers.
    Transfers
    Out:
Some main players last year who now I've deemed doesn't fit the squad has now gone out, while some were just youngster I didn't offer contract extensions.
    In:
Benkovic and Llorente are direct replacement for Lindelof and Tuanzebe, Tonali and Cardoso are buys that are more geared for the future if I can develop them properly.
    Competitions:
League: Won the league with 6 games to go with final points tally of 91 but did not score as much as I wanted.
Community Shield: Kept the tradition going by winning against Chelsea 2-0
European Super Cup: Retained the glory as the winners of Europe, beating SLB 2-0

Club World Championship: World champions again this season as we tbeat NYCFC 3-1 to take the title
Carabao Cup: Lost this cup again this season, this time to Tottenham in the Final by the scoreline of 1-0
FA Cup: Won this cup after losing last season, beating Liverpool 3-0 at Wembley
Champions Cup: We won the cup again, ,this time barely winning against Juventus 3-2

Almost a clean sweep in all competition, with the Carabao Cup eluding us. Is this the sign of a curse?🤯
    1KC Challenge:
So how did our superstar perform this season? Changing his training intensity seemed to help as he stayed fit throughout the season.
    Here's how his development went:
A spike up in aerial thanks to the target man and aerial attribute training focus. Looking a better player overall.
But his tally however, is another story:
Only managed 35 goals, with an increase in assists this season. The slump after December hits him hard, after he hit the ground running early in the season. Here's some of the good games he had:
Some awards he got over the season:
So with that tally, which is a bummer considering the reduced total of goals, the challenge is now harder but even more fun to go on with:
    1KC Challenge - 93/1000 (907 to go)
He's now reaching 21, so I'll have to somehow push him to score over the 70 range assuming he stays playing until 35. Well, let's get to the drawing board and try our best again in the next season.
    Extra - Squad performance:

That's all for now. Thank you guys for reading and following this career.
    Until next time folks. Adios~
Oops, literally forgot to touch on this and only remembered after the post has been saved. Earned this over the 3rd season.

    Season Two
A decent start to this challenge from Silva in season one saw him bag 46 goals for the season. This season the target was 60 goals, and with his rapid progress improvement as a footballer I was confident of hitting that mark.
    Transfers:-
    Outgoing:
As I’m still in the rebuilding process, transfers are quite extreme at the moment. I’m asset stripping the club to shape it into the team that fits best with my tactic. Notable outgoings are Eduardo Salvio, Franco Cervi, Ruben Dias, Haris Seferovic and Champions League winning hero Pizzi.
    Incoming:
After raising £194m in sales and having around £70m from the board anyway, I decided to scout the transfer listed players market, and I only went and signed a transfer listed Marco Asensio for £74m! A bargain price for the quality I’m getting in my opinion. He’ll be at the club for the best part of 10 years so I see it as a great deal. Other signings were right winger Ignacio Pussetto, Nelson Semedo, Niklas Stark, Frenkie De Jong, Erling Haland & Wolves left back Ruben Vinagre. A net spend of £49m for this season, we had plenty of bang for our buck too!
    Competitions:
Supertaça - Beat Academica 1-0 European Super Cup - Lost to Barcelona 3-3 (2-4 Pens), Fábio Silva grabbing himself a brace Club World Cup - Beat New York City 5-0 with Silva smashing in a hatrick League Cup - Goals in injury time of each half gives us a shaky 2-0 win against Varzim, Silva scoring one of the goals Taça de Portugal - Beat Sporting Lisbon 3-0, Silva hitting a brace League - A much more convincing season as we go through it unbeaten with Silva retaining the Golden Boot with 28 goals Champions League - We pull off another miracle against Madrid again, this time beating Atletico Madrid 4-3 (AET) Silva hitting a brace including what proved to be the winning goal in the 116th minute Manager Profile & Season History:
Another stunning season under the helm as we miss out on everything but one trophy.

    Fábio Silva 2K Challenge:
Sure enough, this man is developing into a right beast, his stamina needs to be better and he is getting that area trained at the moment, other than that he looks great!

As for his performances this season, well he played in three less games! Yes that’s right he could only manage 46 games this year, slight knocks and stamina issues were the cause, but it doesn’t matter as his goals per game ratio this year is simply stunning. 58 goals throughout the season brings his total up and over the 100 mark for the career! Sure he falls short of my target of 60 goals, but considering the games played, he’s done alright.

    Challenge Total: 104/2000
As always thank you for reading, and please remember to leave a comment

URz reacted to ashrafrazin in Pellegri Strikes Back in the BPL -Final Update (1.5K done)
    Season 2 Update
Finished season 2 few days back but haven't had the time to update the topic until today. Season 3 just finished and will be updated right after this is done. So without further Adu, let's get on with it:
    Transfers
    Out:

Out goes Lukaku and Sanchez to give Pellegri and the other forwards the game time. Could've shipped them out for more cash but the deal was done pretty close to window end. Shaw was injury prone in my save while Bailly wanted out himself. Other than that are players I deemed as surplus and would get more playing time at other clubs. I am a fan of keeping the squad small.
    In:

Bought Guedes and Pellegrini to shore up the wings and midfield,
Joao Felix and Amiri as rotation for Paqueta and Arana to replace Shaw.
Suero (whom i believe a regen) is a future world class player based on scouts analysis.
Silva came in at the end to silence the players who were aggrieved with sanchez and lukaku going.
    Competitions:

Community Shield: Our first silverware of the season, beating Milwall 2-1.

European Super Cup: Another silverware went on the trophy cabinet as we beat Inter 3-1 with our main man scoring a hat-trick
League: We went on to win the league by  5 points and goal tally of only 73. But we'll take it as it is and improve in future.

Carabao Cup: Crashed out in the fourth round, losing to our most hated rivals Liverpool by the scoreline of 1-0

Club World Championship: World champions this season as we thrashed Independiente 6-0. Pellegri scored a brace in this match

FA Cup: Went up against Chelsea in the Finals, after beating Liverpool and Man City in the Sixth Round and Semis. Failed to take home the cup as we were soundly beaten 3-0.
Champions Cup: The team fought through the disappointment of the loss and went into the Champions Cup final against Bayer 04. We played a great match and won the cream of the crop title beating our opponents 5-0. Pellegri again rising to the occasion scoring a brace in the match

So didn't manage to get a clean sweep in all competitions, but all in all a good season.
    1KC Challenge:
So how did our superstar perform this season? Had one injury not long after the season started:

which made me change his training intensity to normal from intensive. Seemed to help him stay fit so far.
I do have some problems with injuries in this squad, even for those with normal training. The worst is Itter being sidelined for nine months:

    Anyway moving on...
Pellegri scored a total of 39 goals over the season, from playing in 56 games in total.

He looks an improved player by the end of the season:

Here's some of his best games:

So with that tally, which is somewhat decent and could've been better, his total is now:
    1KC Challenge - 58/1000 (942 to go)
Still keeping positive that I can make him score more consistently especially as he's only 19 (20 by the time this is posted, cos I just finished the 3rd season)
    Extra - Squad performance:
    Goals

    Assists

That's all for now. Hope I can update the 3rd season soon for you all. Time is not something I have atm unfortunately🤣
Until next time folks. Live long and prosper.

I wanted to go for an assists challenge, as my creator I picked a great talent from Manchester City, Phil Foden. In my tactic i wanted to play with 3 offensive players in front of him so adding triple threat into the mix seemed like an obvious choice. To round it up i went for triple threat assists challenge(https://fmmvibe.com/forums/topic/41037-the-triple-threat-assist-challenge/). I'm 2 seasons in, and here are the results so far.
    Team's performance:

    Foden:

Great first season, played slightly worse in the second, still I'm very happy with His performance.
    Triple threat:

All three developed into top tier players, according to my training team Dembele and Guedes still have some room to improve.
    TT after 2 seasons: 258

    Triple threat assists:

    Roberto: 23/51
    Foden: 73/162
    Dembele: 40/102

    Bonus:

Look at this monster, and he can be even better!

Thanks for reading, next update should be tommorow.

Afobe, Cavaleiro, Enobakhare and Hause left my team to make room for...
which i got for 30 mln + Adama Traore. As it turned out later on he wasn't the playing up to his standards, but i will give him chance next season and hopefully he will be one of the leaders.

So there was a big improvement and i even got a chance for Champions League but my last game with Leicester ruined it. I'll try to make it next season but the biggest task will be to keep my best players cause they want to move to bigger team.

So how did the second half of Fulham’s season go? Time to strap back into the rollercoaster!

Just a single transfer in January to try and overcome a lack of pace at the back. In the end I couldn’t get him up to speed in half a season so he only made a handful of appearances. (I’ll learn for the next club.)

With about 10 games to go, our star player had some really bad luck

Luckily the rest of the team kept the rollercoaster going with more crazy results to end the season in an amazing 7th place with 67 points 😎

My manager profile at the end of the season - still Local 🤔

    Individual Games

So 1/4 of the way through and 67 points on the board. What an amazing season with results that would have made Keegan proud. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed playing a single season as much as that for a long while - I hope the game results give others a smile too.
