If you're on Android, there is the Google Rewards app, which does something similar except that it adds directly to your Google Play balance. How many surveys you get and the amount paid for each survey depends on where you live.
It'll take a while to save up enough for FMM and Google will know that much more about you, but could be an option.

What does the coach report for Tammy say? In my save he had "Tends to struggle in big matches" - does he have that in yours? If so, I'd leave him out of big games and keep him fresh for the easier ones and see how that goes. You can probably only afford to do that for the really big games or he'll miss too many. Of course he may not have that in your save.
Agree with @veerus that he should be Primary Attacker.
His high team work rating (18!) is going be problematic. Armstrong was high-ish, but not quite that high. I used a 4 3 2 1 with Wingers not APs (keep them out wide), and an AP instead of a BBM (who score too much for my liking). Then I played it Direct into him. The plan was to keep him fairly isolated and get the ball in quick to him, so he would have to shoot more often (ie the others are too far away for a pass to make sense). Worked for Armstrong. We might have less chances overall, but 80% of them would go to him.
The key to that style of play is to have lots of players who can play great balls in. I tried to have all my midfielders and wingers have great creativity, passing and decisions, so any of them could hit him in a goal scoring opportunity. Didn't matter what attributes their position would normally need, creating chances was the priority.
So I'm disagreeing a bit with @BatiGoal about the DLP needing tackling. Ideally yes! But if it's a choice between the two, I'd take a DLP who can create chances over one who can tackle. I'm talking specifically about this scenario mind you. The team will probably suffer as a result, but I don't care, it's all about the chances baby! APs suit my purpose in the DLP role quite a lot of the time. Of course, ideally find someone who can do both.
Check out all the other players, especially those scoring Tammy's goals, and see if any of them have low teamwork (ie selfish), or like to shoot early, or anything like that which will take away from Tammy's goals. Ship them out and replace them with players with high teamwork.
Also, check out the extended highlights for a while, looking for clues. I found Armstrong liked to take corners rather than be on the end of them, so I needed to set the corner takers to people who'd actually be playing. I found other people getting in his space and tweaked the formation to get them out of the way (that's why I went with wingers).
That's all my thoughts so far. Hope some of that helps. KIU mate!

Only just read this - great start and very enjoyable read! Not 100% sure how I feel about Newcastle being pillaged, but as long as you get them winning I guess that's okay! ?
As long as Mike Ashley never, ever, reads this and thinks he can replace all the players with cheap viking players (you know he won't fund the more expensive ones!).

Thanks mate. If I wanted to make it stressful for you all, I'd post an update right now! 2 games to go in the season. 2 trophies in the balance. Maybe I'll win them both, maybe none!
But whatever happens, it'll be without Russell Crowe. Who needs him? Certainly not us. We have Faustino Asprilla dressed in a pink dinosaur suit teaching a horse to dribble a football. I mean, what's Russell Crowe going to do to top that?

I think it would be great too, but I can't see them doing it. They need to keep the game as light as possible so it can run on all devices etc. This one change wouldn't likely have much of an effect, but if they did too many similar sized changes, then it would start having an effect. But it would be cool.
I guess there's only one way to find out and that's post it somewhere they look for changes. Do we have a thread of suggested changes here somewhere? Or maybe it needs to get added somewhere on the SIGames site?

    Introduction
Well here I am again, at the start of another 1KC attempt!
    Why Another 1KC?
This will likely be my last FMM 2017 career and I want to use what I've learnt from my other 1KCs to go again and build a higher tally. I want to take this striker way past where my first one ended up (and also past @BatiGoal's first striker too ).
Some of my choices reflect this aim, but other are contradictory to it, as you'll see below. As much as I want to get a high score, I don't want to take all the easy options (otherwise I'd take Rashford to PSG and go for 1,500).
    Wait, What About PinaColada?
After completing the Second Chances and Accidental Armstrong 1KC, I should have gone straight back to my PinaColada double 1KC. However, it's been 4 months since I last played that and my enthusiasm for it is gone.
At the time I started it, there'd only been two FMM 2017 1KC attempts (mine and BG's) and I felt like doing something out of the box. Now there are a bunch of other 1KC attempts either completed or running right now and I sort of want to see what I can do with another attempt.
    Club
My first thought was to use Celtic again, as they are great for a 1KC. However, that was a bit predictable and I wanted to manage in a league I haven't played before.
I quickly settled on Holland, which has some strong clubs in a generally weak league. I was originally eyeing Ajax as I wanted a player there and young players are generally expensive! In the end though Ajax was a little too obvious.
Out of the big three clubs, Feyenoord intrigued me the most. They can potentially be huge on the world stage, but historically they've underachieved - they've only won 15 titles compared to Ajax's 33 and PSV's 23 (10 to 25 and 20 in the Eredivisie era). The Internet also tells me that they represent the working class in Rotterdam compared to the artists and aristocrats in Amsterdam.
I like the idea of taking an underdog and making them great (and maybe catching up to Ajax and PSV) and Feyenoord allows me to do that, while still having a major club (which will help the 1KC). So Feyenoord it is!
    Player
I knew early on that I wanted a player that I could manage internationally. That rules out English players because Gareth Southgate has some sort leverage over the FA. Instead I was looking at Nigerian and Colombian players as those jobs are gettable.
I also wanted a player that hadn't been used much before. That sort of goes against my desire to build a big score. I probably should have gone for a nailed on wonderkid.
I was originally considering Mateo Cassierra (the player I mentioned was at Ajax above), but in the end I went with Juan Hernandez who starts at Granada B, as he was much cheaper and a couple of years younger.

Here's what he looks like at the start of the game:
It's a bit of a risk choosing him, as I suspect he's not quite top rung... But given the league we're in, the base stats he starts with, the amount of room to grow, I think he can do the job. What do you think?
    Manager
This time I need some help. As mentioned above, the key to getting a big score is to get the Colombia job. I got it once before as an Australian, but I'd won the Champions League in that case.
I thought getting a Colombian in to help me out would increase the chances of us getting the job, so I called on an old friend, who was glad to ride to our assistance:

Yes, Faustino Asprilla, the former Newcastle player! He was only too happy to help and I'm particularly keen to see how his unique training techniques help Hernandez develop.
    Details
As always, I'm using the EME.
I've also reset the unlockables, so I can use them when I unlock them again. I generally don't like using unlockables, but in this case I'll take all the help I can to get Hernandez to a higher total.
    Updates
I've said this before, but I'm going to try to keep the updates light. I have a lot of other stuff on my plate at the moment and I don't really have the time (or enthusiasm) to go into as much detail as before.
Still expect me to dig into certain details every so often, but I'm not going to bother with progress charts or stitching together the player form charts.
    Failure
I'm feeling pretty good about this career right now, but if it looks like Hernandez is not going to make it, I'll ditch this career and start again with someone else.
I'm pretty confident that won't be necessary, but this is likely to be my last FMM 2017 career and I don't want to get stuck doing 20 seasons with someone who I know isn't going to deliver.
    Looking Forward
I'm about 2 or 3 months into the first season and it's looking reasonable. Of course I'm at the stage where the team isn't strong yet and Hernandez is only a youngster, so we're not exactly setting the world alight. I'll keep on chugging along and hopefully be back with an update with the next week.
So... What do you think? ?

    Mini Update: 1KC
Armstrong started the season needing 44 goals to reach 1,000. By the time we faced Huddersfield in February, he'd brought that down to 2 goals. So what happened?

Yes!! In the 67th minute Adam Armstrong scored his 1,000th goal under my management (a total of 1,030 when including the goals he's scored for other managers).

It wasn't the most convincing of goals however. It was a deflected shot from Gomes:

And the other team thought he was offside (I'll let you make your own minds up about that one!):

But still, 1,000 is 1,000 and they can't all be glory goals!
Now I just need to get Sheffield United and Birmingham promoted and we're done here. Sheffield United aren't far off clinching promotion, but Birmingham got off to a bad start to the season. They've done a lot better since then, but will it be enough? We'll have to wait and see. ?

Yeah, that's what I did with my original Armstrong 1KC. Newcastle had loaned him out, so I had to pick another club (Celtic) and buy him from there. That way I could use him immediately instead of waiting.
Although, it sounds like @BatiGoal may have found an either better solution!

In my experience, the stadium capacity will increase instantly, as soon as you get approval.
Eg, if you go to the board request screen and the capacity is listed as 8,000, then you request an increase and get the approval message, then go back to the board request screen, the capacity will now be 10,000 (or whatever).
Not very realistic, I guess it's simplified in FMM...

I just thought I'd share this, which shows my DLP Ntcham and my AP Eugenio over the course of a season:

Almost identical! That's playing in a CM AP DLP three-man midfield (see my post above for playing style etc).
Of course there are so many variations that this can only be taken as a one-off eg rather than something that'd happen consistently. They both had brief stints filling in other positions, swapped to the bench when condition lower than 100%, etc. But my DLPs do consistently provide a lot of assists.

Thanks everyone for your input and support! As I said to Ashez above: I set out to see how far I could push the game, so I don't feel bad about what I'm doing and it's not breaking the rules of the challenge that I can see... But I wouldn't want to see this become a common approach for the 1KC.
So, after thinking about it, here's what I'm going to do:
I'll keep on with this career and see how far I can take him, but at the end of the day, I won't put him forward for the leaderboard. If others start doing the same thing and putting their players forward, fair enough! In that case, I might add him to the leaderboard later. But I don't want to be the first one to do it! ?
Hope that makes sense and thanks a lot for helping me think this through! I appreciate that a LOT.
PS This also helps be keep to BG's golden rule above! LOL!!
