Kun Aguero reacted to NguyenDucAnh in Hexer's Workshop: It's all about Hex
Hello Vibers. I'm DucAnhNguyen, and today I create this special topic dedicated to hex editing save files using a hex editor. @Kun Aguero have already made one, but that's on the 2017 section, and some people still confused the 2017 method with the current one. Anyways, hex editors are powerful tools that can help you manipulate save files just by changing some values. I haven't fully mastered it, but for now I'll show you what I have learned so far about it.
    What you will need:
    - The full version of FMM18 (or you will have to endure fake names)
    - A decent Hex Editor (I use HxD for Windows, Hex Editor on Android, and Bless for Ubuntu. Just google "HxD" for Windows, or "Hex Editor" on Play Store)
    - A save file (Make sure that you've backups, because some of these tutorials are complicated and risky. One wrong change, and you might lose your save file FOREVER)
    - Optionally, you can download Hex Calc on Android, just in case the Internet is down. The calculator in Windows 10 also have a "Scientific" mode that allows you to convert Hex to Dec or vice versa. Moreover, you can just google "Hex to Dec converter", and any site will do.
    So, let's get started!
Hex Editor Tutorial #1 : Manage any national team or club team you want
*Please note that I wrote this tutorial base on @Kun Aguero's tutorial, with the help of @henda666. Credits goes to them for their hard work!*
Ever have the experience where you want to manage your dream team in a save, but always get rejected for the job or the position you want is always secured? Ever wanted to play with Germany or Japan national team but sadly can't due to licensing problem? Well, this tutorial will solve your problems, and make your wishes come true.
    1. Load the nation.dat file in "Android>data>com.sigames.fmm18>files>installed>database". Search for your nation name in text string/ASCII. The code 4 digits ahead the nation's name is your nationality ID. Note it down (My nationality is Vietnamese, so it will be 5A 00)
*Note : If you are trying to search for Germany, make sure it's Germany instead of West Germany or East Germany.*

    2. Load your save file under "Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager Mobile 2018\normal\games“. Search FF FF 00 00 B2 07+nationality ID in Hex (it was AE 00 B2 07 +nationality ID before the winter update) . The values18 digits ahead of "FF FF 00 00 B2 07" is your manager's ID. Note it down. Here is my info in this praticular save:

CA 68 00 00 is my manager's ID, 1F 01 is the ID of my own club (Aston Villa in this case), and AE 01 is the nation I'm managing (England)
    3. Search for the national team and you wished to manage in text-string. The code 10 values ahead will be the national team's ID. Note it down. B4 01 is the code for Germany team as shown below:

1C 02 00 00 is Joachim Löw's manager's ID (15 values behind team's name), the 28 00 behind it is the tell-tale sign that you've found the correct ID. Note all of them down, then replace it with your own (which is CA 68 00 00 in this case)
Also, if you want to change the club that you're managing, search for it as well. For example, if you want to change the club to Manchester United:

The club's ID is 64 01, and Mou's ID is FE 0D 00 00. Again, replace Mou's ID with yours, and note them down.
    4. Search FF FF 00 00 B2 07+nationality ID in Hex, and replace your club's ID and national team's ID with the new one (1F 01 to 64 01, and AE 01 to B4 01)

    5. Since I'm managing England, I'll have to replace myself with Joachim. Search for England (or any other team that you're managing, otherwise YOU CAN SKIP STEP 5 ENTIRELY) and replace your ID (CA 68) with Joachim's. Also do that with Aston Villa too.

    6. This is the most crucial step. Ignore it, and your game WILL CRASH AFTER 3 SEASONS! There are two ways to do this, so I'll try @henda666 's method for Joachim Löw, and my own method for Mourinho in this tutorial (again, you can skip this if the club and/or nation you want has no manager)
    - @henda666 's method: Search for the manager's UID on www.sortitoutsi.net. Convert it to Hex digits using any Hexadecimal translator or Hex Calculator. In this example, Joachim Low's UID is 127347, which converted to Hex is 1F173. Reverse it and you will have 73 F1 01 00. Search this in of Hex, change the code 20 digits below to AE 00 (or FF FF if you haven't manage any national team, and by doing that Joachim will be unemployed). That will remove him from the team and replace your spot in England.

    - My own method: Search for Mou's ID (FE 0D 00 00) in hex, and keep searching until you find his current club ID (64 01) nearby, which is 37 values behind it. Again, change it to your current club's ID (1F 01, or FF FF if you haven't manage any team, and by doing that Mou will be unemployed). Only use this if the first method failed.
    7. Save it and enjoy your work!
And that's how you can change your own club and national team, with the use of Hex Editor. Please bear with my horrible writting skills, and stay tuned for more!

Hi guys, it’s me again. After 2 hectic weeks of study and test, I’m back with the hex editing stuff. Although my writing skills are still borderline horrible, my editing skill are, at least, still improving.
So in this post, I’m going to make a tutorial about how to move a player to another club, with only the Hex Editor! As always, be sure to BACKUP YOUR SAVE FILE, or you will risk screwing it!
Remember the time I posted about how to edit players’ CA and PA, and you can find some information about that player? Turns out, some information are more useful than I anticipated. And now I’ll show you the steps to move that player to another club:
    -        First, follow my tutorial about changing player’s CA/PA (which is just a few post away from all this), up until step 3:

The player in question is Arthur (Grêmio). I want to move him to Barcelona, since he will joins the club when the summer transfer window opened. I’ve use the previous steps to find his ID (his UID is 19259600, convert to hex we have 125E0D0, reverse it to D0 E0 25 01 to have his hexadecimal ID). The A4 00 part on the screenshot above is his club’s ID, which you can find it using KunAguero’s method (10 values ahead of the club’s full name)
Anyways, here is the important part. Take note of the A9 1A 00 00 part, which is 4 values ahead of his HID (hexadecimal ID). We will call it “secret ID”, or “SID” for now. After writing down the SID somewhere, change the A4 00 part to Barcelona’s ID (5E 03).
    -        After changing A4 00 to 5E 03, search for FC Barcelona (careful not to use FC Barcelona B), you will find out something quite intriguing:

(Again, 5E 03 is the club’s ID, 10 values ahead of the club’s full name. CE 00 00 00 is Ernesto Valverde’s HID, and the 28 00 behind it acts like a separator between him and his players’ SIDs.)
See the FF FF FF FF behind those XX XX 00 00 parts? That is where you put the player’s SID. Replace the nearest FF FF FF FF part with Arthur’s SID (A9 1A 00 00). But the job is not done yet…
Search for Grêmio (you should search for FBPA instead, trust me, it’ll make things much easier):

Arthur’s SID is still there. Now, replace his SID with the last player’s SID (15 54 00 00, I honestly don’t know who he is), then replace the 15 54 00 00 part with FF FF FF FF:

And you’re done! Now save the edited file, load it in the game, and see the results!

So there you have it – a new way to move a player to a desirable club, without spending a penny or use IGE! Imagine what could happen if Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi can play for the same club, or Nicklas Bendtner making a glorious return to Arsenal? If you don’t want to mess with that, you can always use this method for making a save file with transfer update, while waiting for JayMarvel to release his tool (I don't know if he's still working on the tools, so we can only hope). Thanks for reading!
P/S: This method only works with clubs that hasn’t reached 40 player in main squad, otherwise demote some players to the reserve team. And I haven’t tried with loaned players, so feedback is much apprieciated.

Hex Editor Tutorial : Managing National Team (FMM 2018)
    1. Load the nation.dat file in "Android>data>com.sigames.fmm18>files>installed>database". Search for your nation name in terms of text string/ASCII. The code 4 digits ahead the nation is your nationality code. Note it down. I will take Germany as example, 9100 is the nationality code.
*Note : If you are trying to search for Germany, make sure it's Germany instead of West Germany or East Germany.*

    2. Load your save file under "Documents>Sports Interactive>normal>games“. Search for "ae00b207+nationality code" in terms of Hex. The code 18 digits ahead of "ae00b207" is your manager code. Note it down. Mine will be 5353 as shown below.

    3. Search for the national team you wished to manage in terms of text string. The code 10 digits ahead will be the national team code. Note it down. B001 is the code for Germany team as shown below.

    4. Changed the national team manager code to your manager code. It is 45 digits below the national team name. I changed that to my manager code which is 5353.

    5. Change your national team. Go back to your code "ae00b207+nationality code". Change the code 2 digits behind to the national team code. I changed it to Germany national team code as shown below.

    6. Search for the original manager's UID on www.sortitoutsi.net. Convert it to Hex digits using any Hexadecimal translator. In this example, Joachim Low's UID is 127347, which converted to Hex is 73f10100. Search this in terms of Hex, change the code 20 digits below to ffff. That will remove him from the team.
    7. Save and enjoy!

    * Thanks to help from @henda666 and @NguyenDucAnh*

After two days of searching, I've finally found a way to edit a player's current ability (CA) and potential ability (PA). Although it's very complicated, I will still post it here since I'll probably forget about it if I don't write it down. Remember to BACK UP YOUR SAVE FILE, as this method is risky - one wrong value and your save file will be doomed.
    So here goes:
    1. First, find the player's unique ID (UID) in sortitoutsi.net, convert it to hex, then reverse it (In this tutorial I'll use Luke Shaw as an example. His UID is 29076105, to hex it will be 1BBAA89. Add a zero in front of the hex values if the number of characters is an odd number - Shaw's hexadecimal UID has 7 characters, so I have to write it down as 01 BB AA 89. Reverse it and you have 89 AA BB 01)
    2. Open a Hex Editor (I use HxD for Windows, Hex Editor for Android, and Bless for Ubuntu), then use it to open your save file.

    3. Find the player's reverse hex UID (89 AA BB 01), and you will have this:

The high-lighted part is the general information of the player, including his club (64 01, his club's ID, is Man Utd's). The one in the red box is the hexadecimal ID (HID) that FMM use, so note it down. (It's E3 17 00 00 for Shaw).
    4. Find the HID of the player, as mentioned above. Keep finding until you see this:

The right values are always accompanied with a long string of 9A 9C 1E 10 10 blah blah blah.... , so stop searching immediately if you have found something like that. 55 values from the ID, take a note of the 3 values behind (8C 00 9C). That the player's CA and PA, separated by the 00 in the middle. Convert it to decimal and you will see his CA and PA (Shaw's is 140 and 156, respectively).
    6. All you have to do now is to edit his CA and PA accordingly. The values are raging from 00 to C8 (0 to 200 in decimal, don't try to exceed that), and CA will have to be lower or equal to PA, otherwise the game will crash.

    .. I think I've overdone that a little bit.
Anyways, save the file, and you're done!
    7. Load the save file in FMM 18 and play as per usual. You will only find some stats differences at first, but if you have the in-game editor (IGE), you will see the results immediately
    Before:

    After:

That's how you can edit a player's CA and PA using Hex Editor instead of IGE. Happy hex editing!
P/S: sorry for my bad English grammar, some typos that I overlooked, and my poor writing skills

Also, I found out how to edit your team's reputation. First, find the two values that is 31 values behind the team's short name, like in the reply above (It's also right next to the club manager's ID, mine is CA 68). Then reverse the two values' order (for example, Freiburg's reputation is 8B 1C in the save file, reverse it to 1C 8B, the convert to decimal, then you will have 7303, which is the team's reputation). If you want to edit it, find a number you want (ranging from 0 to 10000, I will choose 10000 for example), convert it to hex and reverse it (10000 is 27 10 in hex, swap it to 10 27), then replace your team's repuation with the values you have found (in my case, replace 8B 1C with 10 27).
Note that 10000 is the maximum limit of a club's reputaion, anything further will likely crash the game.

It looks like the old hex editing method doesn't work anymore with the new update. But the method from one year earlier works though. So instead of ae 00 b2 07 (national code), we use the same old ff ff 00 00 b2 07 (national code).

Jefferson, Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Obama. 5 of the most successful and famous U.S presidents of all time. All have defeated rivals in elections. Now it's your job to follow in their footsteps.

No don't worry, you don't need to be a political genius to understand how this is going to work. Although a brief run down might help. In the simplest possible terms, whichever candidate gains the most votes in a particular state wins the amount of points allocated to that state, shown on the map above. Whoever has the most points at the end of the election, wins.
Now enough of this waffle let's start getting into explaining this in FMM terms!
    The Challenge
Your job will be to gain the most points as possible over the course of one season playing in MLS. In fact you'll be trying to conquer all states.
How do you do this? Simple really. Before starting, you will be choosing a striker. Any striker. He can be any age, nationality, already at the club, bought, whatever. If your striker scores a brace (2 or more goals) in a match against the MLS team from the state it's located in during the course of the season, you'll receive the number of points allocated to that state. Only MLS games will count for this, no cup games will count.
You will also receive a point for each goal your striker scores during the course of the season in the league only.
Which team will you be using?
That's your choice. There's options, of course. Obviously Canadian states or provinces don't count towards U.S elections so your choice of team will be between any of the 3 Canadian teams in MLS:
Montreal Impact Toronto F.C. Vancouver Whitecaps Points
Total number of points collected from states + amount of goals striker has in total.
    Remember
Only MLS games count including the playoffs. The striker doesn't need to score a brace both home and away - either will do. You will only receive points for Texas and California if braces are achieved against all clubs from that state. Rules, screenshots required + deadline:
All the information regarding points, clubs and states you will need:

    The Chinese Invasion Challenge
Eyes had been cast on Chinese football since the immense amount of money spend in the recent few transfer windows, with some biggest stars in football joining the Chinese Super League. But how about players from China? Did the huge investment make some impact on the development of Chinese football players? Well, in this Challenge, you will need to lead a Chinese player to success in Asia and Europe, following the path of Genghis Khan's Mongolian Empire.
    The Mongolian Invasion

Being one of the most successful Invasion in world history, the Mongolian invasion in Europe around the 13th Century nearly conquered the whole Europe, only being stopped after the death of Great Khan Ögedei.
The Mongolian invasion in Europe was not a complete success, but can you replicate the path of Genghis Khan to conquer Europe football with your Chinese player? In this challenge, you will have to choose a Chinese player and bring him through 4 stages.
    Stage 1 : Conquering Asia
The conquering journey of the Mongolian Empire started in China, but since China Super League wasn't playable in the game, we will have to start our journey in South Korea.
    Aim :
    1. Start with a South Korean team.
    2. Sign a Chinese player
    3. Win the AFC Champions League with your player playing an active role.
    4. Have your player scoring 30 goals.
    Stage 2 : Conquering Poland
Genghis Khan's army then went on conquering Russia and followed by Central Europe, and you will start your journey in Europe with Poland.
    Aim :
    1. Join a Poland team.
    2. Sign the Chinese player.
    3. Win the Poland league.
    4. Have your player scoring 30 goals.
    Stage 3 : Conquering Turkey
The Mongolian army continued their invasion through the conquering of Turkey, and that's where you are going next.
    Aim :
    1. Join a Turkey team.
    2. Sign the Chinese player.
    3. Win the Turkey League.
    4. Win the Europa League to complete your first stage of Europe Invasion.
    5. Have your player scoring 50 goals.
    Stage 4 : Conquering Europe
The defence of Spain managed to hold off the Mongolians, but that's not going to be how your journey end. In the final stage of this challenge, you will arrive in Spain and complete the conquering of Europe.
    Aim :
    1. Join a Spanish team.
    2. Sign the Chinese player.
    3. Win the league.
    4. Win the Champions League to complete your conquering of Europe.
    5. Have you player scoring 100 goals.

Kun Aguero reacted to auronjashanica in Sanchez to United & Mkhitaryan to Arsenal: FMM18 Experiment
Hello everyone, today I decided to make a FMM Experiment about Sanchez&Mkhitaryan Transfer.

Standings at the end of the season:

Now lets see players and teams results and stats:

    Sanchez & Man United:

Man United lose their Euro Super Cup final with the exact same scores as they lost it in 2017.

They get out of Carabao Cup after losing to Liverpool on penalty shootout.

Then they're out of FA Cup as West Brom beat them.

Now they get disqualified on the first knockout round by Real Madrid.

Biggest Man United achievement: 2nd in PL.

    Alexis Sanchez:

20 goals + 7 assists in 30 appearances is pretty good right?

    ARSENAL:

Beaten by Watford on Carabao Cup fourth round.

Fails in Euro Cup as they cant even pass the group.

Then they get beaten by Crystal Palace on the sixth round of FA Cup.

They couldnt get the Community Shield either.

    Henrikh Mkhitaryan:

Its a pretty good season for Mkhitaryan too as he scores 10 and assists 6 in 27 appearances.

Should I make another season or this is enough? Write down your thoughts & critics about this very short experiment. Thank you
