I must of dodged the sack 5 times already.
Problem is when you have European games, you end up playing less league games than everyone else so you sit near the bottom for ages untill you catch up your games.
This is a massive bug because the board think your doing shit  because of your league position so your under threat of the sack constantly.

    A great start Mr Fox.
The tactic works very well with those assists shared around nicely.
Like you said hopefully nowt goes wrong and you have this wrapped up by the time your 2nd season is done.

    Woody: Season 13
We are here, unlucky number 13.
Would the season be a Friday 13th slaughter or just a plain bad season?
    We shall see. 😨
A few more probably unnessesary transfers were made.

Before we get into the what nots of the season we had some unlucky 13 injuries this year.

Well we won the lot again. We also had our best league season too.

Our boys are beginning to get old now and we start off with our elder statesman, Beltran.
Fran is 33 now and its starting to show in his physicals.
This lack of pace and stamina is hindering him as he only managed 16 assists.
He has over 200 now which for me is more than i thought he would get so at this point i'm more than happy.

Our 3 Padres had a good year despite those injuries to Ruiz and Nino.
Ruiz bundled in 28 goals at club level and added 2 for Spain giving him 30 goals in total which giving he missed 2 months of the season is pretty impressive.
Nino also missed some games but just the 1 month. Despite this he still managed to collect 24 club goals as he did last term. He added to that with 5 more for Spain giving him 29 in total.
Our main man Zarzana had an injury free season and with that he notched home 40 club goals.
He also hot 9 more for Spain leaving him with 49 in total.

That gives us a season total of 108 goals. Considering the 3 months of injuries to 2 of our Padre warriors it turned out pretty well in the end.

    Beltran: 202 assists.
    Ruiz: 386 goals + 30 int'l = 416 total.
    Nino: 314 goals + 28 int'l = 342 total.
    Zarzana: 424 goals + 60 int'l = 484 total.
    Overall total: 1242 goals.

    Thanks for reading 👍👍

    Ian - Season 12
After a brilliant season last time out we just needed to keep on going but this season certainly wasn’t as good and you’ll soon find out why.

    Team Results
A clean sweep of trophies so no problems in that regard.

    Warriors
This season we suffered injury after injury to Josh, Boadu and Mohamed in particular and it was highly annoying to say the least. It may have been self inflicted though as by around January time I had a look at my coaching set up and discovered that two of my physios had retired on me and I must’ve been flying through too quickly and missed the announcements. Anyway, I signed a couple up thinking it’d solve the injury problem but unfortunately we still suffered a few in the second half of the season so it’s inconclusive whether the lack of physios had any impact on the crisis or not but I think it probably did so I take full responsibility for it.
It won’t come as much of a shock to you after our injury problems that our warriors had a bit of a poor return as they could only muster 83 goals between them. I’m still happy enough though as those 83 goals bring us closer to our target. Our assister managed 26 assists to bring his total up to 263 so it looks like he may get into the 300’s by the time we’re finished if I can get him to sign another contract that is.

It's been a right old slog this season as all 3 of my Padres have suffered from injuries throughout the season and haven't played anywhere near the amount of games i would of liked.
Albeit we did the usual transfer business....

We won almost everything only managing a semi-final finish in the Champions Cup in a tie with Juve. It was a very cruel way to go out to be honest.

    Spain:
We won the World Cup again and to be honest it was quite easy as we have a fantastic pool of players to choose from.

    Onto our assister, Beltran.
He is getting old now and is starting to lose his pace abit, it's down to 10 now but he still looks quality.
He managed a decent 26 assists this term.

Our 3 Warrior Padres as i have said have all struggled with injuries this season but that didnt stop them collecting a reasonable amount of goals.
Pedro Ruiz had the biggest dip as he only managed 26 goals but he did manage 9 more for Spain giving him 35 for the season.

Fernando Nino had a slight drop of only 3 goals but he did collect a respectable 24 and also added 10 more for Spain giving him 34 in total.

Antonio Zarzana had the worst of the injuries but it didn't stop him knocking in 39 and another 9 for Spain giving him a nice 48 for the season in total.
That gives the boys a solid 117 in total for the season. How much longer we can keep this up for i dont know as the signs of deterioration are starting to creep in but its going to been fun seeing if we can get there.

    Beltran: 186 assists.
    Ruiz: 358 goals + 28 int'l = 386 total.
    Nino: 290 goals + 23 int'l = 313 total.
    Zarzana: 390 goals + 51 int'l = 441 total.
    Overall total: 1140 goals.

The phone rang. Right in the middle of a game. I hate that! But this phone call was worth taking... Some guy named Lee Charnley.
Apparently the Newcastle takeover had fallen through and Mike Ashley had decided to take the club in a new direction. Steve Bruce hadn't bought into it, so had been sacked.
Rather than pay for a decent manager, they'd decided to go for a cheaper option. With my track record in FMM and, more importantly, an asking salary of bus fare, I fit the bill perfectly.
However, I'd have to agree to follow the new direction:
No more English players at the club. There'd be too great a risk that some of them might be Newcastle fans and Mike hates Newcastle fans.
We can only bring in French players. They've always had good resale value, so Mike loves them. Actually let's make the whole squad French.
They have to be 25 or under. Can't have old players, they cost too much.
They can't cost more than £16M. Mike's not made of money!
He gave me a link to the full rules:

But first, I had some questions:
What if it's their 26th birthday tomorrow? Fine.
What if it's their 26th birthday today? Not on! Didn't you understand what I said!
What if they cost £15.75M? Fine. Though please buy cheaper players if you can.
What if they cost £16M exactly? Watch yourself! We can easily give this job to @AdamNufc or @Woody. Or maybe @Kanegan, he's not even a Newcastle fan, which might be better now I think about it.
No no... What if their name sounds French? Like Lascelles or something? Nice try. You need to check their passport. And their birth certificate.
Are sell on percentages or player exchanges allowed? What are those? Do you think we understand football or something? We're running a business here! As long as you follow the above rules, it should be fine.

I didn't have to think about it too long. I mean the rules are ridiculous and the fans will hate me, but actually having the chance to manage Newcastle? No brainer.
Besides, I've seen a bunch of very promising French players that fit the bill in FMM. Maybe we can even turn this into a success.

Like @Foxy said the randomize option would be brilliant and add an extra slice of difficulty to game as each save would be different.

    Woody: Season 11
Apologies to all i have been unbelievably busy this last week with work so this has caused a delay in posting my update.
    Anyway, i shall move on.
We seem to be in the final straight(atleast thats the feeling i'm getting) and the end is in sight.
We did a far bit of transfer business this season. I went abit Spanish mad as i was lacking in players for the Spain squad.

We had a fantastic season and won all that was there to be won including the World Club Championships.
Still having issues collecting screenies i need and players names changing.
Also i have a notable game, possibly my greatest ever come back.

My Padres and assister have done me proud uptill now.
Beltran is certainly been a late bloomer. He supplied another 22 assists this term pushing his total up to 160 so far.
Our 3 Padres are getting closer to our target total albeit a few seasons away yet.
Ruiz had a cracking season beating his previous best collecting 40 goals. He also improved his Spain tally with another 2 goals. Giving him 42 in total.
Nino has had a few tough season but he did improve abit this time grabbing 27 for the season. He added 5 to his Spain total too. Giving him 32 in total.
Zarzana has definately been the star of the show upto now and he didnt disappoint this time either. He actually surpassed his previous best notching 42 goals. He also added another 7 to his Spain tally. Giving him 49 in total.
That gives the Padres 126 in total for the season giving us our best season yet.

    Beltran: 160 assists.
    Ruiz: 332 goals + 19 int'l = 351 total.
    Nino: 266 goals + 13 int'l = 279 total.
    Zarzana: 351 goals + 42 int'l = 393 total.
    Overall total: 1020 goals.
