  1. Long story short, I signed Sadio as a coach some point during my 9 year career at RBL. Just a coach, not a player. Then a couple of years into my project at Arsenal I got a message that he had been released. Signed him up right away, offered him a position on the staffing team and he accepted. Still a player though! He can even make it all the way through a game without limping off and has scored a few important goals as well as being an excellent mentor. Anyone come across this before, or even better, knows how to replicate it?
  2. I hate being that guy who ask a question that’s probably been answered a hundred times... what’s the deal with facepacks this year? Are we waiting for them to be made or is it not possible anymore?
  3. Third time lucky at hitting 100? Though I'm still more interested in the upcoming drama than actual results!
  4. I have a mate who supports Fulham and just likes the premier league for what it is. You're concerned that the same teams are always at the top, basically your choices are to support a team who never wins the league or support a team who buys success. Or be neutral of course.
  5. Nice start, I'm looking forward to the drama starting, wanting more wages, wanting a move etc, can you update already??
  6. Wow Crikey, you've really got the odds against you. Good luck added 0 minutes later "England is his city"
  7. I'll be taking this....great work guys and girls

    Youtube Thread

There's a fairly popular FM you tuber called stat app, who got involved in a controversy about using the editor on a popular series he started. He denied it at first, got presented with undeniable proof and eventually admitted it. His apology came across strongly like he was playing a victim in all of this, I'd love to hear from others who may have been following this situation. Also it looks like like several of you here have experience with recording gameplay for YouTube. I've been talking with the people I play on a modded minecraft server with, and we're considering recording a few sessions. None of them are particularly adept at this, so if I can get some suggestions for software to use that would be great!
  9. Nice thinking. I'm sure you already know this, but just in case, other users can ask the admins for control of a sub if it remains inactive. There's a whole sub dedicated to people pinching other people's subs.
  10. I see you have an empty subreddit for vibe, any plans for it?
  11. Following on from that, I'd have come here and done an ama, similar to the one miles did on Reddit for FM. As well as having a bit of banter with the biggest fans of the game, I'd have used the opportunity to have a real discussion about the games direction. If there's anyone to talk to about FMH, it's you guys on here.
  12. I'm buying FM next week. How much time are you talking, to complete a season? Say I want to micro manage every aspect of the club. Days? Weeks?
  13. Sure, the engine is bugged along with all the other bugs we've seen over the last couple of years. But I think the ai and its artificial difficulty is a seperate issue to that. Just throwing us curveballs that aren't based on stats, tactics or general skill at the game because it makes it look like there's more depth to the game than there actually is. Of course there's always a degree of luck to a football match, but I think the odds are stacked against us a lot of the time.
  14. The game stopped being fun for me and I stopped playing. 14 was bad, 15 sucked. If I didn't know better (I don't) I'd be saying that sometimes you're playing against the forces of God. You could play the first 10 matches of a season 1000 times, trying out 10 different formations. You'll still get completely random results, with the ai most likely coming out on top. I don't know if it was laziness, or the inability to make a realistic footy manager sim without using artificial difficulty (not actually difficult, just turning the odds against for no statistical reason), but I felt massively let down by si for the past two years. And that's just one side of my argument. Let's not forget that 14 and 15 were infested with bugs, to the point where there were prolonged periods of both games where we couldn't play properly, that's a product we paid for that we couldn't use as intended. Afaik there was no apology for that, I even remember one of the devs on here disputing a major bug that many of us had provided more than enough evidence for, being the paying (not paid) beta testers that we are. As far as I'm concerned, they've screwed up big time, for two years running, alienating some of the games biggest fans. Of course I'll buy 16, I've been supporting the series for a decade now, but I don't have high hopes. Hopefully I'll be able to write a good review for it, wether that's because we have a good game or because I was sent a free steam code for fm16 to do so (not even joking, my opinion can be bought), as long as it's one or the other then I'm happy. edit: formatting like we're on reddit...
