  1. Thanks mate! Yeahh onto league 1 rearing for the Championship Yeahh feeling the resistance already drawing with Scunthorpe United and losing to Bolton.. but yes thanks man ! Bring on League One
  2. so.. i finished off the season top of the table, still with doncaster close behind with 104 points. thus claiming the Sky Bet league 2 title as well as the checktrade trophy, where we faced off Ryan Giggs's Charlton charlton manager Ryan Giggs close game, with Guruzeta scoring a hat-trick to clinch us the trophy Great to have won the league 2 Manager of the year, what makes this victory sweeter if both league two player of the year and runner-up are from Wrexham. kudos to you boys! also league two young player of the year was also a wrexham player. get innnn thereeeee!!! Jordan White narrowly missed out on top scorer, being 2 goals shy of Bobby Grant of Accrington A little Global roundup..Man city edging out Man utd for the EPL trophy, Arsenal grabbing both FA and EFL cups, Shakthar winning the Champions league over Bayern was a bit of a shocker. Well least we didn't go trophy-less this season! Looking forward to start the new season.
  3. Thanks for the encouragement! will keep this going !
  4. So a rough introduction, i'm into my 2nd year managing Wrexham A.F.C. , attained promotion by getting a 5th placed finish in the VNL. 1st was Forest Green, 2nd Dag & Red. However we managed to win the FA trophy, beating Guiseley. Right now we're currently in Sky bet league 2, early March 2018, top of the table with 82 points, Doncaster closely behind at 81 points. Knocked out of EFL Cup Huddersfield, out of FA Cup at the hands of Brentford. But being knocked out of cup gives us full ability to concentrate on League 2. Just to share a bit on my save. the roundup of the previous season, Our profilic goal scorer would be Jordan White, getting 21 goals so far this season, Jason Gilchrist close with 20 goals as well, John Rooney with 9 assists. i have kept majority of the squad, with majority of them being the youngsters. Gilchrist isn't lacking behind in goals either. formally on the books of Man City and Burnley, i got him cheaply at just 30k. My shot stoppers, as for Konrad Jalocha, i got him on a bosman frm Legia, a great bargain, still am keeping the aging but capable Shwan Jalal as deputy now. used him as my no.1 for most part of last season. Some of the young guns that were key in promotion through VNL... Rob Evans a good central midfielder, Tyler Harvey a creative youngster which can be deployed as a striker option and Callum Powell a useful left wide player with good technique. Skipper Mark Carrington.. and of course Wayne Rooney's brother some of the business i done over the 1 and a half seasons at Wrexham... One of my main Midfielders, bought the former Bolton & Liverpool trainee from Southport for 45k, proving to be a good buy and a first team player for me for a few years i predict. another of my midfielders, former of Chelsea & Leicester, bought from Boreham Wood for 28k. Joined on a free from Bristol City, former Sheff Utd man is young but a steady one when called up to replace one of my either 2 Strikers one of my trusted more experienced wide players, bought for 20k, cheap i would say, from curzon ashton. Formerly of Wolves and Man Utd. Key player Another brother of a Man Utd player, got him extremely cheap at just 6k from north ferriby. Not too bad as well so far getting 12goals in 20 apps so far. useful backup Also not forgetting these 2 i picked up from A.Bilbao B on free transfers, could be with me for multiple seasons.. Just sharing some bit of the squad i built so far, will be pushing for promotion and hopfully the League 2 title, since the journey in League 2 has been rather smooth with these good players in my squad. Cheers to other managers bringing up lower league teams to glory! thanks for reading
