Wow, so much gold in this thread! I had to work most of it out myself, would have been so much easier if I'd seen this first. 🤦‍♂️
I'm working on a tool, still early days, only a work in progress at this point, but here's a screenshot of where I'm up to (if you're interested):

... It's just as complicated as tutorial #3 so as always, be sure to BACKUP YOUR SAVE FILE!
    Hex Editor Tutorial #4 : Edit a player's club:
Remember the time I posted about how to edit players’ CA and PA, and you can find some information about that player? Turns out, some information are more useful than I anticipated. And now I’ll show you the steps to move that player to another club:
    -        First, follow tutorial #3, up until step 3:

The player in question is Arthur (Grêmio). I want to move him to Barcelona, since he will joins the club when the summer transfer window opened. I’ve use the previous steps to find his ID (his UID is 19259600, convert to hex we have 125E0D0, reverse it to D0 E0 25 01 to have his hexadecimal ID). The A4 00 part on the screenshot above is his club’s ID.
Anyways, here is the important part. Take note of the A9 1A 00 00 part, which is 4 values ahead of his HID (hexadecimal ID). We will call it “secret ID”, or “SID” for now. After writing down the SID somewhere, change the A4 00 part to Barcelona’s ID (5E 03).
    -        After changing A4 00 to 5E 03, search for FC Barcelona (careful not to use FC Barcelona B), you will find out something quite intriguing:

(Again, 5E 03 is the club’s ID, 10 values ahead of the club’s full name. CE 00 00 00 is Ernesto Valverde’s HID, and the 28 00 behind it acts like a separator between him and his players’ SIDs.)
See the FF FF FF FF behind those XX XX 00 00 parts? That is where you put the player’s SID. Replace the nearest FF FF FF FF part with Arthur’s SID (A9 1A 00 00). But the job is not done yet…
Search for Grêmio (you should search for FBPA instead, trust me, it’ll make things much easier):

Arthur’s SID is still there. Now, replace his SID with the last player’s SID (15 54 00 00, I honestly don’t know who he is), then replace the 15 54 00 00 part with FF FF FF FF:

And you’re done! Now save the edited file, load it in the game, and see the results!

So there you have it – a new way to move a player to a desirable club, without spending a penny or use IGE! Imagine what could happen if Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi can play for the same club, or Nicklas Bendtner making a glorious return to Arsenal? If you don’t want to mess with that, you can always use this method for making a save file with transfer update, while waiting for JayMarvel to release his tool (I don't know if he's still working on the tools, so we can only hope). Similiarly, you can use that with national call-ups too: it would be awesome to, once again, call Phillip Lahm to the Germany squad. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more!
Update #1: This method only works with clubs that hasn’t reached 40 player in main squad, otherwise demote some players to the reserve team. I have tried with loaned players: some may end their loan contract early to join another club that you move him to.
Update #2: This also works on the coaching staff. You can move them to any club as you please, just make sure to follow the partern: (assistant)(coach)(coach)(coach)(you)(scout)(scout)(scout)(physio)(physio)(physio), and their SID is 80 values away from your ID + 2800
Update #3: This works on players that retired from international football - you can call him up to your national squad by simply add his SID to the national team (by adding I mean replace a FF FF FF FF string with his SID). I can't recall Phillip Lahm, since he has retired; but at least I've tried to recall God Ibra, and it worked.
Update #4: Also worked on free agents, but you'll need to give him a new contract to keep him.

... All of this are just reposts from an older topic.
Hex Editor Tutorial #2 : Some random thing you can do with Hex Editor:
    - First you can also use the hex editor to change how good your training facility and youth facility are. Just edit the two values that is 12 values behind the team's short names to 14 14, and you will have "State of the art" training facility and "Top" youth facility without requesting your board.
In the image, the aforementioned values are 0e and 0f, which means the team (Kaiserslautern) has "Impressive" training facility and "Great" youth facility, respectively. These values are 12 values behind the last letter of the team's short name. Replacing them with 14, and you will see the result. This can be applied to any club teams in your save file.

    - The club's reputation can also be edited. First, find the two values that is 31 values behind the team's short name, like in the reply above (It's also right next to the club manager's ID, mine is CA 68). Then reverse the two values' order (for example, Freiburg's reputation is 8B 1C in the save file, reverse it to 1C 8B, the convert to decimal, then you will have 7303, which is the team's reputation). If you want to edit it, find a number you want (ranging from 0 to 10000, I will choose 10000 for example), convert it to hex and reverse it (10000 is 27 10 in hex, swap it to 10 27), then replace your team's repuation with the values you have found (in my case, replace 8B 1C with 10 27).
Note that 10000 is the maximum limit of a club's reputaion, anything further will likely crash the game.

Similiarly, you can edit competitions' reputation too. Find the league's name, then find the value that is 9 values behind the abbreviated name of the competition's name (I used La liga 123 as an example this time)

The high-lighted part (13, because I've already edited it) is the competition's reputaion. Edit it to whatever the number that ranges from 0 to 14, and that's done.
... They are just some good stuff I found while messing with my countless save files. Luckily, I always have backups.

Hello Vibers. I'm DucAnhNguyen, and today I create this special topic dedicated to hex editing save files using a hex editor. @Kun Aguero have already made one, but that's on the 2017 section, and some people still confused the 2017 method with the current one. Anyways, hex editors are powerful tools that can help you manipulate save files just by changing some values. I haven't fully mastered it, but for now I'll show you what I have learned so far about it.
    What you will need:
    - The full version of FMM18 (or you will have to endure fake names)
    - A decent Hex Editor (I use HxD for Windows, Hex Editor on Android, and Bless for Ubuntu. Just google "HxD" for Windows, or "Hex Editor" on Play Store)
    - A save file (Make sure that you've backups, because some of these tutorials are complicated and risky. One wrong change, and you might lose your save file FOREVER)
    - Optionally, you can download Hex Calc on Android, just in case the Internet is down. The calculator in Windows 10 also have a "Scientific" mode that allows you to convert Hex to Dec or vice versa. Moreover, you can just google "Hex to Dec converter", and any site will do.
    So, let's get started!
Hex Editor Tutorial #1 : Manage any national team or club team you want
*Please note that I wrote this tutorial base on @Kun Aguero's tutorial, with the help of @henda666. Credits goes to them for their hard work!*
Ever have the experience where you want to manage your dream team in a save, but always get rejected for the job or the position you want is always secured? Ever wanted to play with Germany or Japan national team but sadly can't due to licensing problem? Well, this tutorial will solve your problems, and make your wishes come true.
    1. Load the nation.dat file in "Android>data>com.sigames.fmm18>files>installed>database". Search for your nation name in text string/ASCII. The code 4 digits ahead the nation's name is your nationality ID. Note it down (My nationality is Vietnamese, so it will be 5A 00)
*Note : If you are trying to search for Germany, make sure it's Germany instead of West Germany or East Germany.*

    2. Load your save file under "Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager Mobile 2018\normal\games“. Search FF FF 00 00 B2 07+nationality ID in Hex (it was AE 00 B2 07 +nationality ID before the winter update) . The values18 digits ahead of "FF FF 00 00 B2 07" is your manager's ID. Note it down. Here is my info in this praticular save:

CA 68 00 00 is my manager's ID, 1F 01 is the ID of my own club (Aston Villa in this case), and AE 01 is the nation I'm managing (England)
    3. Search for the national team and you wished to manage in text-string. The code 10 values ahead will be the national team's ID. Note it down. B4 01 is the code for Germany team as shown below:

1C 02 00 00 is Joachim Löw's manager's ID (15 values behind team's name), the 28 00 behind it is the tell-tale sign that you've found the correct ID. Note all of them down, then replace it with your own (which is CA 68 00 00 in this case)
Also, if you want to change the club that you're managing, search for it as well. For example, if you want to change the club to Manchester United:

The club's ID is 64 01, and Mou's ID is FE 0D 00 00. Again, replace Mou's ID with yours, and note them down.
    4. Search FF FF 00 00 B2 07+nationality ID in Hex, and replace your club's ID and national team's ID with the new one (1F 01 to 64 01, and AE 01 to B4 01)

    5. Since I'm managing England, I'll have to replace myself with Joachim. Search for England (or any other team that you're managing, otherwise YOU CAN SKIP STEP 5 ENTIRELY) and replace your ID (CA 68) with Joachim's. Also do that with Aston Villa too.

    6. This is the most crucial step. Ignore it, and your game WILL CRASH AFTER 3 SEASONS! There are two ways to do this, so I'll try @henda666 's method for Joachim Löw, and my own method for Mourinho in this tutorial (again, you can skip this if the club and/or nation you want has no manager)
    - @henda666 's method: Search for the manager's UID on www.sortitoutsi.net. Convert it to Hex digits using any Hexadecimal translator or Hex Calculator. In this example, Joachim Low's UID is 127347, which converted to Hex is 1F173. Reverse it and you will have 73 F1 01 00. Search this in of Hex, change the code 20 digits below to AE 00 (or FF FF if you haven't manage any national team, and by doing that Joachim will be unemployed). That will remove him from the team and replace your spot in England.

    - My own method: Search for Mou's ID (FE 0D 00 00) in hex, and keep searching until you find his current club ID (64 01) nearby, which is 37 values behind it. Again, change it to your current club's ID (1F 01, or FF FF if you haven't manage any team, and by doing that Mou will be unemployed). Only use this if the first method failed.
    7. Save it and enjoy your work!
And that's how you can change your own club and national team, with the use of Hex Editor. Please bear with my horrible writting skills, and stay tuned for more!

Yes, no problem, I can share this find, so that for others it takes less time. We will look for a contract player. So, in order:
    1. To change a player’s contract, you need to find the player’s ID, transfer the values to HEX, then transfer them back, find this code in the save and have 4 values in front of it - this is the code that is used for contracts. NguyenDucAnh called it SID. To it you need to add "01" and search.
    2. On the screen you can see that "c1 1e 00 00" this is the SID (blue color).
    3. Red on the screen - salary (in my example, the salary of the entire "c8" = 200 pounds, because I play for a small club :)).
    4. Next, light green - the date of the contract (07 eb = 2027 year; and "b4" = 180, now we need to find this value in the calendar + add 1 unit and it will turn out on June 30, thanks to NguyenDucAnh for this find).
    5. Blue is the player's happiness (00 = happy to stay at the club, 01 - wants to go to the bigger club, 02 - wants a new contract, and so on ...).
    6. Dark green - the date of the conclusion of the last contract.
    7. Blue - status in the team (01 - Key Player, 02 - First Team, 03 - Rotation, 04 - Backup, 05 - Hot Prospect, 06 - Youngster).
    8. Orange - the amount of redemption (clausula).
    9. Pink - the amount of redemption for lower clubs.
    10. Yellow - the amount of buy back fee (the club will be added automatically, the one in which it previously played).
    Thank you NguyenDucAnh for help.
    ---------------
I would like to ask for help. I want to find how to change the transfer budget of the club. I make all the changes on the smartphone, so I cannot use the two saves for comparison. NguyenDucAnh explained how to find finances using the two save.dat comparison. But is there another way to find a budget?

Hello guys, i will share what i found about player personality. But, sorry before for my bad english ✌️
i took example in new database (february 2019 database) huddersfield player, Kian Harratt. here we go...
Green square (5a 1a ad 01) is harrat hex id
Blue Block square (55 14 00 00) is harrat back code
White square (d3 07) is birthday year
    Red square is player adaptability
    Blue square is player ambition
    Yellow square is player loyalty
    Turquoise square is player profesionalism
And the number around them is controversy, handling pressure, sportifity, and tempramen, and i think its not too important 😅
if set number like i do it will be strict profesional personality
if you wanna make player with very ambisius personality, you just set increase blue square up to 11 (11 -14) and low yellow square (08 or 09), if want loyal personality, just up yellow (10-14), if want profesional personality, up turquoise (10-12), for model profesional low the ambition (0a - oe), and up profesional square to 14
for honest, insecure, steady personality, im forgot hehe

if you wanna make player with very ambisius personality, you just set increase blue square up to 11 (11 -14) and low yellow square (08 or 09), if want loyal personality, just up yellow (10-14), if want profesional personality, up turquoise (10-12), for model profesional low the ambition (0a - oe), and up profesional square to 14
for honest, insecure, steady personality, im forgot hehe
