I seemed to have missed this but all caught up now and it looks like you guys are having a lot of fun an dposting some top seasons.
Looks like season 1 is going to cost you big style @Aaron55 and it’s just a case of @kylieboi88 keeping his nerve and bringing it home.

This doesn't affect the vast majority of vibers as most have the ability to tag and name their threads correctly. Unfortunately though there's still a bunch of idiots who clearly don't understand what they're doing despite it being pinned and in front of their eyes for the last year and a half.
The tags are there for a reason. So threads are easier to find in the future, as they'll be sorted into sub-sections, easier for guests to find and pinpoint exactly what they're looking for, and so that the members who start the threads can get the answers they're looking for. Exactly the same thing for titles. If someone is searching for help regarding transfers then how are they meant to find it if the thread is titled inaccurately?
We've seen a few members start a thread looking for help and not getting any replies, not realising they've tagged it as "chat" instead of "help". Don't expect help if you can't even tag it correctly. Also, make it clear in the title what the thread is about instead of just naming a thread "help pls".
This is now becoming a warnable offence and any member that offends more than once will receive an official warning and if it continues after that, a ban.
If you're still struggling, then read this. It's spelt out for you with how your threads should be tagged:
It may only be a small feature but it's essential to keep vibe running smoothly. Staff change a lot of these wrongly tagged and named threads, but there will be occasions when some are missed.
If any of you happen to stumble across a thread that you feel is tagged, or named incorrectly then please hit the report button to ensure everything on vibe is accurate and correct.

Foxy got a reaction from Ashez in Around the World in 80 Games - Intro
Welcome to my latest career which I hope you will all enjoy.
So far on FMM19 I have only really posted 1 season saves but this time this save will actually go beyond a first season and actually reach early season 3 😮
The idea for this save started as I have been playing a mobile game called Eight Minute Empires quite a lot the last few weeks (if you play it then hit me up and we might be able to arrange a game) and I wanted to try and recreate an FMM save that conquered the world. That then morphed into travelling the world and a save based on the Jules Verne book Around the World in 80 Days and thanks to a good brainstorming session with @Ashez we came up with this.
    Background Story
It is likely that you are familiar with the story as it has been made into at least 2 films, a cartoon series (if you are old as me) and is one of the most influential books of all time but if not I will give you just a little background.
Wealthy recluse Phileas Fogg is challenged by his fellow members of The Reform Club to travel around the world in 80 days. They wager him £20,000 (over £2m in today’s money) that he cannot complete the journey in time. On the 2nd October accompanied by his French valet (butler/personal assistant) Jean Passepartout they set out in there journey and many adventures ensue.
    My Challenge
In line with the book I am going to try and get my own Fogg and Passepartout to travel the world in 80 games but to do this they are going to need some help from local guides along the way. As in the book we will start in London and with that in mind I will be managing a London club to attempt this challenge.
I did consider Chelsea as they are the closest team to The Reform Club in central London but I have used them a lot in tests on this game and the fact that they have a pretty much ready made squad put me off.
So instead we will be heading north out of central London past the wonderful Topps Tiles Islington Boutique and basing our journey from the Emirates Stadium, sorry @Rob. This gives me a club with a good base of a squad but also some scope to improve the team before we embark on the journey.

The way this will work is.
I am attempting to visit as many nations of the world as I can and hopefully finish back in London in 80 league games. In every nation I visit I must pick a player to be my guide in that nation. That players job in to make sure we travel safely through the nation and to do this he must score a goal in a league match for us. As well as our guide scoring it is up to my Fogg or Passepartout to get an assist in the same match. If that happens we move on to a neighbouring country and buy a new guide to get us through that country. To try and get as many nationalities as I can I have loaded the following leagues to get a spread of players from around the world.

So who will be my Fogg and Passepartout?
I have picked a player that I am familiar with for my Fogg in the shape of Keinan Davis. I used him last year in an attempted DT alongside Rashford which was going well before the save file got corrupted and I had to abandon the save. During that save he got plenty of assists so I hope he can replicate that in this save, I also have a desire to use him again as we have unfinished business and finally he is a bargain at just under £9m.

As my Passepartout I have gone for a player I can’t remember using before so I am venturing into the unknown with Houssem Aouar. I have spent £40m to bring him from Lyon so I hope he can improve and get a good number of assists for us over the save.

The first league game is when our journey starts as we attempt to leave England. This gives me up to the transfer window closing to build a back up team as Fogg, Passepartout and the guides can’t do this journey all on there own. This squad that I build in the first window will be my squad for the rest of this save except for bringing in new country guides. I can sell players if they become disruptive but I cannot add to the squad.
To be able to do this save I will need to unlock both transfer windows and work permits so I can bring in new guides but I won’t be clicking those buttons until after the first transfer window closes. This will stop me forgetting to stop wheeling and dealing with the squad but also mean I only buy squad players that can get work permits as only the guides get the luxury of not needing those as we will be in there home country when they play for us.
    Transfers
I had a budget of slightly over £100m to start but I reduced that by nearly half just to buy Davis and Aouar so I needed to move on a good number of players to build a squad that I wanted.

Odds on Lacazette coming back to haunt me in the North London Derby?
Him and Bellerin were probably the only players that I really rate that I let go but Lacazette would struggle to get games so it was worth cashing in and Bellerin is pretty good but I can get cheaper options. Mustafi and Xhaxa are decent players but they are both flawed in areas of there game so I let them go.
I tried to improve as many areas of the pitch as I could and I am pretty pleased with the work I did. I got some good attacking talent with Lopes and Dilrosun as I need goals and although I want Davis and Aouar to get assists I also need to win games to keep my job so I need goals and assists from lots of angles and with a bit of luck a good number will come form the players I need them to.
I then hopefully strengthened the famous wobbly Arsenal defensive areas. I replaced Monreal with Jonas Hector and Kaderabek came in to replace Bellerin with a nice profit and I also signed youngster Bogle from Derby to be back up RWB. In the centre of defence I brought in the left footed Ben Mee who is an out and out defender who does little flashy but has the attributes needed to perform the role and then a favourite of myself and many others Dayot Upamecano.

    Cups and Rules
The 80 games will all be league matches so that this save will last 2 full seasons and 4 matches of season 3. If I had gone for all matches then I could have potentially played 60-67 matches in season 1 and then only need to play a few games in season 2 but I want to play 2 full seasons.
This means that the cup matches don’t really count towards the challenge but I still have an interest in them.
We all like to bring back a few presents and souvenirs when we go on holiday and that is what the cups will be. Also to add to that if I make a final in a major cup, Europa/CL or League/FA cup, I get a fuel boost which will allow me to skip one country on my journey.
    Rules
The guide must score and either Davis or Aouar assist in the same league game before I can move on to a new country. The guide must have that nation as his first nationality to be eligible. If there is no strikers in the DB from a nation I must use a player who is natural in an alternative position. If there are no players at all from that nation in the DB I must try and find an alternative route. I can only move to neighbouring nations and try and take a land route as much as possible. I must visit every continent on earth. I will base a nations continent on the football federation they belong to eg Australia counts as Asia, Israel as Europe etc. At the end of the first transfer window I must use the squad I have built with only guides allowed to join the club. I think that covers everything but if you have any questions or I haven’t explained it well enough don’t be afraid to ask.
I hope lots of you will join me on this journey and it would be great to hear some theories as to the route I will be taking once I have left England.
    Cheers lads.

Well done on getting Europe mate 👍🏻
I usually load 4 leagues so although I have seen random stuff as this is FMM after all I haven’t seen so many fairly decent players signing for teams in a smaller league. It’s interesting as I wonder if it is making your save tougher than it would have been if you had loaded some bigger league alongside Scotland.

    FMM19: Free Transfers XI
Forget your Neymar’s, forget your Pogba’s and forget your Mbappe’s. We all occasionally love splashing the cash on the games very best superstars, or promising wonderkids, but the real thrill of this beautiful game we call FMM comes from unearthing that reject, or rough diamond that we believe can produce the goods at a fraction of the price. That’s why in this list, I’ve conjured up a squad of rejects that can all be bought for absolutely nothing.
All of the players in the below list are available on a free transfer at the start of a new save. The leagues I loaded were England, France, Germany & Spain which gave me a whopping 22,000 player database. Of that 22,000 database, 1,272 players were free agents and thus my search began.
I started by applying a few filters for attributes favourable in certain positions, so for my goalkeeper search I filtered a minimum of 13 in Kicking, Handling, Aerial & Reflexes. For my Central Defender search I filtered a minimum of 13 in Positioning, Tackling & Aerial, and so on with the other positions with some key attributes.
Now then, let’s have a look at the team and why I picked them.
    GK - Bastian Lerch (Germany)

In goal we have German stopper Bastian Lerch, at 22 years of age this man has years ahead of him as a top goalkeeper. Some of you may look at his page and be put off by the abundance of orange and red stats, but look past those and you can see he has 15 in Handling, Kicking, Reflexes & Decisions along with a 13 in Aerial ability. At 22 years old this lad will no doubt improve with some game time and training and is a decent keeper at Championship/League One level in my opinion.
    RB: Denis Diekmeier (Germany)

Now this lad looks good. Well rounded stats across the board along with green numbers in Pace, Stamina & Crossing means this guy is a very solid Wing Back. I’d go as far as to say this guy could do a decent job at Premiership level. At 28 years old there might still be room for improvement too. A real bargain.
    LB: Khaled Mesfin (Germany)

Now this lad doesn’t look as good as his RB counterpart, but he’s still got more than average attributes in key areas including Stamina (16), Pace (13), Crossing (12) & Dribbling (12). Being 26 this lad is approaching his peak years so you should see some slight improvement after game time and training.
    CB: Remi Streete (England)

This man was around last year as a free agent too, that’s why i was surprised to see him still without a club. He was a lower league tank last year. I had him in one of my lower league saves and Man Utd approached to buy him! He’s got Pace (13), he can Tackle (14) and he can head the ball well (15) along with more than decent mental attributes. This makes him a quality defender and one you should be looking to pick up straight away.
    CB: Phillip Wollscheid (Germany)

Heading back to the German theme I had going on now as we delve into the talents of Phillip Wollscheid. At 29 years old this man is at or near his peak so don’t expect too much growth, but with his attributes you won’t need much. Aerial (18), Tackling (14), Decisions (14), Positioning (16) & Strength (15) make this man a mean Central Defender. He can be a leader at the back too with his more than decent 13 in Leadership. Rock at the back.
    CM: Didier Ndong (Gabon)

The former Sunderland midfielder looks a real steal with his abundance of well rounded attributes. His only let down is his shooting (9) but everything else is well above the 10 mark which makes this man very versatile as he could play a number of midfield roles. Personally I’d make use of his Aggression (15) & Strength (14) by playing him as a BWM.
    CM: Jan Kirchhoff (Germany)

Lining up with him in midfield is another former Sunderland man. Jam Kirchhoff made this list last year, and his history of being injury prone may make this a bad deal, personally I’d take a chance on him and stick him on a low intensity training. He can play anywhere between CB/DM/CM so he’s versatile, and his attributes speak for themselves.
    RM: Jerome Kiesewetter (American)

American winger Kiesewetter’s Pace(15) and Aggression (15) alone should make him stand out, think of him as a very fast tank. You don’t want him running at you on the flanks especially as his arsenal comes equipped with Crossing (12) and Dribbling (12) & Movement (12). You can sign this lad from anywhere in the Vanarama North/South up to the Championship and expect a half decent job from him. Plenty of room to grow too in my opinions as he’s only 25.
    LM: Sercan Sarerer (Turkey)

This former Stuttgart and Fortuna Düsseldorf winger finds himself without a club this season. You should really be looking to pick him up as his fantastic attributes make him a deadly player to have on the flank. Crossing (15), Dribbling (15), Shooting (13), Movement (13) & Pace (15) make this man deadly in any given role. He can play on both wings but I’d personally have him on the left as an Inside Forward to utilise his selfishness!
    AM: Samir Nasri (France)

There was only going to be one man to fill this position, and you need to snap him up quick as by the time the winter update rolls out he’ll be at West Ham who have signed him in real life. Passing (16), Technique (17), Creativity (15) & Movement (16) make him stand out from the crowd as probably this squads best player. The majority of you would probably opt to play him as an Advanced Playmaker, but I believe he’s more well suited to an Attacking Midfield role due to his low teamwork not really allowing him to shine as a pure creator. Whichever role you give him, there’s no doubting that Samir Nasri is a bargain.
    ST: Lacina Traoré (Ivory Coast)

The Target Man is overpowered this year, so why not grab a fantastic one for absolutely free. Traoré has Aerial ability (16), Shooting (15), Movement (13) & Strength (16). The ideal Target man, plus he’s not too shy on Pace (12) which makes him a deadly striker in this years game.
    The Team:

That completes the list. I hope you’ve enjoyed the guide whilst also finding it helpful. If there’s any interest I may pluck this team into the Premiership to see how they get on as a little experiment into their qualities.

    Foxy Season 3
This is the situation going into my update.

I need to score 164 points to secure the H2H2H over @Woody which hopefully after 2 very good seasons we will get and I won’t fall flat on my face at the final hurdle.
The other target was to see if I could complete all 3 seasons without losing a competitive match.
That unfortunately went for a Burton in only the 2nd league game of the season as we travelled to Stamford Bridge and got beat 2-1 which frankly pissed me off more than it really should have.

    Community Shield
This was an entertaining match and I would go so far as to say @Rob levels of entertainment.

    European Super Cup
This was far less competitive but I found it entertaining as we rattled in 5 past Roma.

    League Cup
Kylian Mbappe was in fine scoring form as we brushed Cardiff aside.

    FA Cup
We had a repeat of the Community Shield against Man Utd and we again won it by the odd goal.

    Premier League
We had another excellent season in the league but 5 dropped points meant we didn’t quite better our 111 points from season 1.

    Champions League
This all means that a good performance in Europe will see us home in the H2H2H.
It was another final against Man Utd and for the 3rd time this season we beat them by 1 goal to lift the trophy.

All this means that despite the loss to Chelsea we had our best season so far with a total of 197 points.

    Team Stats
My 2 starmen this save were definitely Mbappe who had 144 goals although he was pushed by Dybala who had 99 goals in the 3 seasons.

It was Douglas Costa who had the most assists with 75 ahead of Dybala who had 66.

This was my final manager profile.

And with the % and average goals scored/conceded.

That brings the H2H2H to an end. I want to thank @Rob for coming up with this fun idea and @Woody for bring his usual enthusiasm. It’s easy to say when you win but I have really enjoyed this but for me the best part was the draft as we picked all our players and hoping no one would take a key man in my plans and if they did which alternative I would go for instead.
Thank you to everyone who has read this and commented.
    Cheers Lads.

I forgot to mention Super Furry Animals in my list 😕 but Manics are better than them anyway. Can’t think of any other bands worth talking about from Wales tbh as I’m not a fan of Goldie Looking Chain.

I’m sure I can pull a few more “flukes” before this thing is done and scrap a top 4 place.
I went with Laird as my English defender.
My main Albanian was Roshi who did the majority of the work.

He was then backed up by these 2 lads

    Great match @Nucleus!
Having conceded 7 goals in 2 of my first 3 matches I’m actually fairly pleased to have only conceded 19 overall as I was bricking it at that point even though I had won 2 and drawn 1. The Albanians really came good for me though in front of goal so I can’t complain about those lads.
    Well played @Titjes, @smoggy90 and @Woody 👍🏻

    Missing a trick mate.
Do an update per game and then it can go on for months and months.

    This is my favourite bit.

If you had attended every game in the 3 seasons you would have witnessed just the small matter of 985 goals!!!
Value for money in my book.

As I read your OP I asked Alexa to play it. I’m not sure what kind of person would not like the song 🤔

I'm glad someone is giving this a go because every time I see that the challenge mentioned it reminds me what a brilliant song it is.
    Good luck mate.
