Welcome to Challenge 1 in the Ribbons of Glory series. To get us started, we're taking Bruno for a spin at Man Utd to see how many goals and assists he can get. This replicates Bruno's New Year Party from the original Badges of Honour series. It was @Ian who topped the leaderboard in that challenge with 169 points - I wonder who'll top this sequel! Is it harder or easier to do this in FMM23 than it was in FMM21? Do tactics still work the same? The Details Here are the details: The Player: Bruno Fernandes The Club: Manchester United Length: 1 season The Benchmark: To qualify for the leaderboard (and a ribbon), Bruno needs to score 25 goals and 15 assists. Leadership Board Points: 1 point for a goal, 2 points for an assist, across all competitions (but not friendlies) Rules No Unlockables; No cheating (no editing, no scouting apps, no reloading etc); Own formations; Any badge and reputation; Any database; Transfers, etc, allowed; BUT PLEASE SEE DISCUSSION BELOW You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Again, don’t be a cheat Credits Credit to @Rob for the Badges of Honour concept. Challenges Ribbons of Glory (Badges of Honour 2)
Scratch posted a topic in Football Manager 2023 Mobile
Narrator: Once upon a time, a fine young director named @Rob directed an acclaimed best selling series called Badges of Honour. It was truly groundbreaking and generated record interest. The following year there was a spin-off mini-series called Shields of Justice, but this was not enough to satisfy the audience. They wanted more! Keen to cash in on this demand, the studio decided to make a another season of the series. Unfortunately Rob was now famous and unavailable. Instead they turned to a desperate down on his luck director who had lost his way. Perhaps realising that this director’s vision was somewhat lacking and unlikely to lead to a truly unique, innovative series that could take the franchise forward, the studio limited his budget and told him “just do the same thing as the first series”. He duly delivered. Intro Hi All, Welcome to Ribbons of Glory (Badges of Honour 2)! I’m so happy to have been given the opportunity to bring this to you! We have had to cut a few corners, but it’s going to be great! We couldn’t afford badges, but we found some old clothes at the second hand store, so we got out the scissors and made some lovely ribbons for you. You’ll love them! We’ve got all the old cast back together. Well not all of them, but we have got some of them back. Maybe about half of them. It seems Bruno is still at Man Utd and will be throwing a party. Not a New Years party mind you, more like a sleepover where people just turn up then forget to go home and wake up on his floor the next morning. He does know we’re coming though. Honest. There was a rumour that Kane and Son might be breaking up (as if that would ever happen!), but we got them to commit to coming back. And we’re trying to get onto to get on to MSN to see if they will perform a final dance, seeing their last dance went down so well. Does anyone know if Suarez is still actually playing? Of course getting the same cast wasn’t cheap. They are all famous after the first series! I mean who’d even heard of Messi before that? Now it’s much harder to get someone like him involved. Fortunately we saved some money by using the exact same script! It’s going to be fascinating to see how the same cast can deliver the same scenes. Some might say it will be tired and boring, but I think they will do it better this time. Anyway, the first episode should be out soon! I think. I left it on the bench over there. Where’s it gone? Alright I better go look for it, but I’ll be back soon. Details To obtain each individual ribbon you will need to attempt the corresponding challenge and pass a specific benchmark score. Once you have passed that benchmark you will be added to that challenge’s leaderboard and recorded on this thread as achieving that ribbon. Only your top score will be listed on the individual challenge’s leaderboard to stop them becoming overwhelming and to allow you to focus on beating your previous attempt. Any ribbon can be attempted at any time! They do not need to be completed in order. Good luck! How many ribbons can you collect? Ribbons (Challenges) Bruno's Slumber Party (Coming Soon) More to follow! Ribbon Holders (Leaderboard) Be the first!! -
One's Company, Two's a Crowd, Three's a Party This Challenge is originally posted by the name Single, Double, Triple Trouble. Roma wasn't built in one day, just like most Attacking Trio's aren't brought into the club in the same season. In the Triple Threat challenge, the players are often brought into the club in the same season, and form a deadly trio immediately. But that's not quite common in real life, the members of a trio often didn't came into the club in the same season. For example, being one of Vibe's favorite trio, the "Liverpool Front Three" aren't brought into the club in the same season. Firmino arrived first, followed by Mane's arrival the next year, and finally Salah. The three soon found the chemistry between them and lead Liverpool to Champions League and Premier League glory. In this challenge, you will be trying to build your deadly trio one by one, moving from a "One Upfront" tactic to "Two Upfront" and finally "Three Upfront". The Challenge: 1. Join any club in any league. Season 1 2. Sign or use a player already in your club as the first member of your trio. 3. Play the first season with the chosen player as a sole striker. He can only play in FL,FC and FR positions. Your score this season will be Total Goals Scored + Assist by the player. Season 2 4. Sign a player to be the second member of your trio. 5. Play the second season with the 2 players upfront. They can only play in FL,FC and FR positions. Your score this season will be Total Goals Scored + Assist by the 2 players. Season 3 6. Sign a player to be the final member of your trio. 7. Play the third season with the 3 players upfront. They can only play in FL, FL and FR positions. Your score this season will be Total Goals Scored + Assist by the 3 players. Challenge Rules : All general challenge rules (etc no unlockables, IGE) Leaderboard @Creckerino 263 pts - Pedro + Gabriel Barbosa + Talisca @Kanegan 261 pts - Lorenzo Lucca + Andrea Pinamonti + Luca Moro Have fun!

The Race to 100 Credit goes to @BatiGoal for creating this challenge. With his goal against Andorra back in June 2019, Kylian Mbappé reached 100 career goals in record time at the tender age of 20yo. There are very few players in football history who reached this number of goals before they even turned 21 years old. In comparison, not even Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo had these stats at the same age, they both needed an extra year to reach the same milestone. Neymar's feat is perhaps even more incredible however, as he was 4 months younger when he slotted in his 100th before later showing off his goal-scoring skills in Europe. When talking about such impressive numbers, we have to go deep into professional football history to find only a handful of legends who reached this magical number before today's Football Gods. Jimmy Greaves scored his 100th career goal for Chelsea before his 21st birthday and Ronaldo scored his 100th professional goal in Holland during his first year at PSV. Pele went even a step further as he was already near the 200-goal! mark before turning 21 years old. Source: Ronaldo.com Can you "out-age" (not quite the ring I was looking for but I know you're still with me) the Messi's, Ronaldo's, Mbappé's and Neymar's of today and reach 100 goals at 19, 18 or even 17 years of age? Give it your best go and I'll add your boy's name to the growing list of legends of the sport. Objective is simple. It's a race from 0 to 100. Score a lot and score QUICK! Twist: I'm aware that Vibe peoples love twists so here goes; we're looking for players who have no, nada - as in 0 - gls behind their names in the original database to make the Race to 100 Goals leaderboard. Reason: it would make very little sense to this challenge to score whatever gls he starts with + 100 and end up with anything but his actual 100th career goal, so 0-100 will ALL be scored under your management. This makes certain individuals like Kean, Pellegri or Håland uneligible for this challenge as there's already a handful recorded gls on their history page. But cry not, the well of talent is bottomless, there's still bucket loads of youngsters left to pick from. And for the real hardcore heroes of this community I'm also adding a Race to 100 Assists leaderboard where the exact same rules apply but for goalsassists. Any player with 0 assists on their history page at the start of the game is an eligible go, pretty much every player in the DB in that case. Remember, he needs to hit the 100-mark before his 20th birthday! Rules: Unlockables: Yes, Badges: Yes, but NO cheats of any kind Use REAL players with 0 goals in DB for Goals Leaderboard Use REAL players with 0 assists in DB for Assists Leaderboard Goals and/or Assists in ALL competitions count Must be under 20yo to make either leaderboard Post your results in a career thread with the relevant screenshots, such as manager's profile page and player's history page (before + after) and exact calculated age (years + days), and I'll add your accomplishment below. Questions? Feel free to ask. Goodluck! 100 Career Goals Leaderboard: @P.Rahul - ENDRICK (17yrs, 307 days) @Creckerino - ENDRICK (18yrs, 237 days) @P.Rahul - Zak LOVELACE (18 yrs, 284 days) @Kanegan - Rory MACLEOD (19yrs, 93 days) 100 Career Assists Leaderboard: @DoneHisCruciate - Paul WANNER (19 yrs, 47 days)

First of all, I would like to thank @DanEnglish and others for helping me finalize this challenge. It started by me seeing people discuss this question: what makes a player the best FMM player ever? Just keep winning trophies? Doesn’t sound like much of a challenge with Real Madrid or Manchester City. Going from an unknown VNN/S club to the top of Europe? It is indeed a challenge, but many people have also done that. Therefore, I proposed this challenge that can potentially take up more than half a career. It will comprehensively test your tactical wisdom, transfer acumen, and locker room handling skills. If you can perfectly clear this challenge, you can safely call yourself the FMM GOAT! This challenge has 100 points in total + bonus points. Try to get as many points as possible! Rules: 1. You must start with a 7th division winner from last season and cannot switch teams halfway through. In FMM23, they are Banbury and Buxton from VNN and Taunton and Worthing from VNS. My personal evaluation of difficulty goes like this: Taunton > Banbury > Buxton > Worthing, from hardest to easiest. 2. Before reaching the PL, you have a maximum of 2 seasons at each division to win the league title. Promoted without the title would mean failure. 3. After reaching the PL, you have a maximum of 2 seasons to win the Treble, including the league title, the FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup. 4. After winning the Treble, you have a maximum of 2 seasons to win the Quintuple, including everything in the Treble, the Champions League, and the Community Shield. 5. After winning the Quintuple, you have a maximum of 2 seasons to win the Septuple, including everything in the Quintuple, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup. This is the last step in this challenge. 6. No requirements for leagues to load except for England. Use your FMM knowledge to your advantage and load leagues that will benefit your run the most! 7. No unlockables except for “Abolish Transfer Window,” which must be activated along with “Asset Stripper” and deactivated when the aforementioned narrative is off. 8. No cheating. Point Distribution: Before PL (4 points per level): - 1.5 points by winning the league within 2 seasons. - +0.5 points each by activating “Unrest at Home,” “Injury Crisis,” “Austerity Measures,” or “Asset Stripper” in the title-winning season. - +0.5 points by activating “Abolish Transfer Window” when “Asset Stripper” is activated. After PL (10 points per level): - 5 points for winning the Treble/Quintuple/Septuple within 2 seasons. - +1 points each by activating “Unrest at Home,” “Injury Crisis,” “Austerity Measures,” or “Asset Stripper” in the title-winning season. - +1 points by activating “Abolish Transfer Window” when “Asset Stripper” is activated. The Kaiserslautern Bonus: If you achieve the objective in 1 season, the points you get from this level will be doubled. Narrative Rules: 1. “Austerity Measures” and “Asset Stripper” must be activated within 1 week after the start of the season. 2. “Unrest at Home” and “Injury Crisis” must be activated within 1 week before your first competitive match. 3. Suppose any of the narratives ends before entering the following calendar year. In that case, you must re-activate it within 1 week before your first competitive match in the new calendar year. To enable a narrative, tap the bottom left button in game, then settings - view - narratives - trigger narrative. Partial Credit: To prevent the effort from getting wasted in a last-minute slip, I am introducing this policy so you can keep the run going by taking a penalty, with the rule as follows: 1. You can use Partial Credit for any purpose, saving a failing season, forgetting to re-activate a narrative, trying to re-do everything to double your points… anything goes, as long as you are willing to take the cost. 2. If you use Partial Credit, you must restart the whole season, starting between Jul. 1st and 7th. 3. For every season before reaching the PL, every time Partial Credit is used will take 0.5 points off from your final score. 4. Every season after reaching the PL, every time Partial Credit is used will take 1 point off your final score. Bonus Points: Even though I started this idea, many others have contributed to the creation of this challenge. Although I decided to have the main part mainly consisting of my idea, I added these contributions as bonus points. 1. You receive a 10% bonus by activating “Attribute Masking.” This bonus will be added after calculating the final score. 2. You receive 3 points each to your final score by turning badge or reputation off. 3. You receive 1 point for every season without loans. The Kaiserslautern Bonus does apply to this one.

With the season coming to a close in most domestic leagues I'd say the game has been out long enough now for people to have nailed down a good goal scoring tactic. The challenge here is to score the most team goals in one season. Doesn't have to be the first season, can be the 28th season with a team of regens, doesn't matter. Doesn't matter what leagues you load, unlockables you use, players you sign. All we want to see is goals, goals, and more goals!! The winning tactic will be the one who which delivers the most goals in 1 entire season. I look forward to seeing what takes part because I know there are some guys out there who are smashing it!! Can anyone break the 200 mark??? Let the games commence..............

Challenges Badge of Honour #7 - 100 Million Quidders
Rob posted a topic in Football Manager 2023 Mobile
Thank you to the wonderful @Titjes and fantastic @DanEnglish for kindly continuing the Badge of Honour series this year. The series can be found here: I have the honour of posting the seventh badge, entitled ‘100 Million Quidders’. So without further ado… Paris Saint Germain like spending money. They toss it around like it’s going out of fashion, trying to sign a functioning squad that has yet to win the Champions League. In fact, they own the two most expensive players ever, signing Neymar from Barcelona and Mbappe from Monaco for £198m and £163m respectively. This challenge is to continue this trend and will last three seasons. You’ll need to take over PSG and make sure that your currency is in ‘UK Pound Sterling’. You’ll then need to sign a player for over £100m in cash (you can throw a swap in there too, but the cash cannot be less). Season 1’s score will be all the goals and assists for Neymar, Mbappe, and Player 1. For season 2 you’ll then sign another player for over £100m in cash (again, including a swap is fine). Season 2’s score will be goals and assists for Neymar, Mbappe, Player 1, and Player 2. Season 3 will involve you, yep, signing yet another player for £100m (again, swap fine as long as cash is at least £100m). And, yes indeed, your season 3 score will be goals and assists for Neymar, Mbappe, Player 1, Player 2, and Player 3. Any other transfers throughout this challenge are allowed. The benchmark is to win the Champions League at least once in the three seasons. Your final score will be the totals of seasons 1, 2, and 3. I can imagine the totals will be good and should start people thinking about different methodologies! Any tactics or formations are allowed, as long as they are your own. No unlockables but any manager reputation and badge is allowed. Thanks for reading and good luck! Leaderboard 1. @Dai_ - 765 - here 2. @Footyman - 382 - in this thread -
Intro: This is the sixth badge in this year's 'Badges of Honour' series. The concept is explained in @Titjes awesome post <here>. Breaking News: Two similar ‘international management’ badges are being released at the same time - this badge and a 'World Cup Winner!' badge. You can choose to attempt both badges in one save, or in different save games. You can see the other badge <here>. Challenge: Every nation needs a 'goal getter', a star striker, the country's legend. Yet in the World Cup, only one can be top scorer - winning the Golden Boot award! This is an ‘international management’ challenge, lasting for a half-season until the end of the 2022 World Cup. Your challenge is simple - to WIN the Golden Boot award with any player, managing any nation. Note - that player must score at least 6 goals (i.e. 6 or more) in the World Cup. However for this challenge you do NOT need to win the World Cup (though probably you will want your goal-scorer to play as many games as possible). This should be a fun challenge - perhaps you do it with the partner ‘World Cup Winner!’ badge, or maybe do then separately. How can you manage one player to be the top scorer in football’s ultimate competition! Note: To start an ‘international management’ save, you need to either (a) unlock / achieve the ‘national hero’ challenge in-game or (b) recommended - sign up for Sports Interactive’s FM FC community - there’s a link in-game upon starting the game. It’s super easy + quick (it’s what I did). Then you can start a new save managing a nation from day one 👍 Scoring: To earn your "Golden Boot Winners!" badge, you need to - unsurprisingly - have any player in your nation win the golden boot with at least 6 goals. It is acceptable to have the joint-highest scorer. Results - you should submit screenshots of all your World Cup match results + a screenshot of the competition’s top scorers. Rank - the more goals scored by that individual player, the higher your position on the leaderboard. Tie Breaker - if there is a tie (e.g. two Vice players have a player who scored 6 goals), then the primary tie-breaker is how many goals your player scored in the final (the more the better), then if needed the semi-final, quarter final, etc. Rules: The same as last year - with one addition: ❌ no club mgmt - you must only manage a nation, you can NOT manage a club at any point before/during the World Cup. No unlockables (inc. no editor) No cheating (inc. no reloading) Own formations (that also means don’t steal a tactic and change one instruction) Any badge and reputation; Any database (if you want to attempt this after the winter 2022/23 data update) You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Note - we now know whether someone has cheated via reloading from your screenshots. We probably won't publicly shame you, so you will still be added to the leaderboard, but be warned - we will know. Good luck! Leaderboard: @Rob - Kane - 12 goals (two in the final 🔥🔥) @dai - Vlahovic - 9 goals (three in the final 🔥) @Lagom - Kane - 9 goals (one in final) @Aortic - Kane - 8 goals (one in final) @Savelieff - Mbappe - 8 goals (one in final) @FuddledFox - Berghuis - 8 goals (one in final) @DoneHisCruciate - Calvert Lewin - 8 goals (none in final) <>

Intro This is the first badge in this year's 'Badges of Honour' series. The concept is beautifully explained in @Titjes post here: Challenge Wonderkid superstar Haaland has been in sensational goal-scoring form since joining Manchester City in July 2022. To earn your "Haaland's Heroics" badge, you need to manage Man. City + get Haaland to score 50 or more league goals in the first season. This should be a fun challenge for people starting FMM23, with lots of goals and attacking football. As this is only about league goals - note that (i) you don't need to win the matches, nor win the league, and (ii) you can rest Haaland in the cups/Europe, to keep him fit for the English Premier League games! Scoring The benchmark to beat is 50 league goals scored by Haaland in the first season at Man. City, at which point you will earn your badge. You should submit your total score (Haaland's number of league goals) on this post + this will be added to the leaderboard. The more goals scored, the higher your place on the leaderboard. If there is a tie (two Vibe players have the same score), then the tie-breaker is 'the fewer league games played, the higher on the leaderboard' (e.g. scoring 50 in 30 games is slightly more impressive than scoring 50 in 38 league games!). Rules The same as last year: No unlockables (inc. no editor) No cheating; Own formations (that also means don’t steal a tactic and change one instruction) Any badge and reputation; Any database (if you want to attempt this after the winter 2022/23 data update) Transfers, etc, allowed; You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Good luck! Leaderboard @Varf on fmm - 100 league goals! 🔥 @Dai_ - 93 (in 36 league games) @Rob - 90 @Titjes - 81 @darlingtonvii - 80 @Lagom - 79 @TheCrux - 78 @Raven9 - 76 @FuddledFox - 70 @Scratch - 69 (in 34 league games) @Chris - 69 (in 36 league games) @Creckerino - 67 @DoneHisCruciate - 62 @Kanegan - 61 (in 37 league games) @NamiRoyal - 55 (in 24 league games) @StuartM - 52 (in 37 league games)

(credit to @FuddledFox for the logo) So I was wandering down the road one day and from afar I saw what looked like a relatively new building. It was huge, made of white and black bricks, with a tall chimney and ball-shaped smoke billowing in to the smog above. I approached it and saw an amazing sign, with the words ‘1kc Factory’ freshly painted on it. I decided to go inside, where I was met by a Fuddled Australian man, eating a Fresh Sandwich whilst wiping deepheat in to his itchy legs. ‘What happens here?’ I asked. ‘Well, this is the 1kc Factory,’ he replied as he adjusted his Woody woodpecker figure on the desk and petted Bruce the dog. ‘This is the place where we churn out 1kcs.’ ‘Does it make you Rich?’ ‘Oh no. Topping the leaderboard is the main Prize.’ I thought this sounded interesting, so I asked more: ‘It’s like a challenge?’ ‘Yes,’ the man replied. ‘We play a game called FMM. Heard of it?’ ‘Sometimes. Although it’s a bit glitchy I quite like the Vibe of it.’ The man sat up and pulled out a sheet of paper. ‘These are the rules for the challenge,’ he said, as I took the paper and placed it in my pocket. ‘How long does the challenge last?’ I enquired. ‘30 full seasons.’ ‘Wow,’ I replied shocked. ‘That’ll drive some people Bati.‘ ‘Oh believe me,’ the man stated. ‘Some careers go absolutely Tits up.’ I laughed, as he pulled out another sheet of paper with some circles and arrows on it. ‘This is a Sam…’ he said, before breaking to cough. ‘…ple tactic.’ ‘I don’t want this,’ I barked, tearing it up and hurling it in to an open fireplace, where it turned in to Ashes, not too dissimilar to what happened to Kane’s family’s house in the WWE. ‘That is cheating!’ The man winked. ‘You passed your first test! Now go on your way and read the rest of the rules.’ ‘Thank you for your time!’ I said as I stood up and shook his hand. ‘No problem. You seem like a Dandy Englishman. Be on your way and find the next Aguero.’ I nodded, as the man turned around and bellowed ‘F words’ in to the work PA Mikerophone. I laughed and went on my way, Baka to my Villa on the South Coast. (Yes I am aware that was total nonsense 😂😂😂) Soooooo here are the rules: Full 30 year career; As many players as possible to get a 1kc within this period; All goals must be under your management, whether club or ITN; You can move clubs or nations; Any tactics can be used as long as they are yours; No unlockables unless earnt during the save; Leaderboard is ordered by highest number of 1kc scorers to least; No cheating; There’s no limit to the formations used and when players arrive in your career Any questions let me know. Enjoy!

Welcome to a new edition of the "Badges of Honour"- series. Originally an idea from @Rob in FMM21. It would be a shame not to relaunch this great idea after last year's failed attempt. This year myself, @Rob & @DanEnglish will be bringing you challenges. Winners have honour. Honour breeds heroes. Vibe will soon have heroes. Throughout the next year Vibe will have a series of badges available for you to achieve. These will be known as Badges of Honour. They are like achievement or trophies you get on video games, but with FMM and Vibe instead. To obtain each individual badge you will need to attempt the corresponding challenge and pass a specific benchmark score. Once you have passed that benchmark you will be added to that challenge’s leaderboard and recorded on this thread as achieving that badge. Only your top score will be listed on the individual challenge’s leaderboard to stop them becoming overwhelming and to allow you to focus on beating your previous attempt. Any badge can be attempted at any time! They do not need to be completed in order. Also if ANYONE has any ideas for badges my DM’s are always open for suggestions and I would love for people to get involved with this. Don’t be afraid to give me a message and we can get some challenges going. The first challenge will be posted by @DanEnglish soon, good luck to everyone that has a go. How many can you collect? Badge 01 - Haaland's Heroics Badge 02 - Park The Bus Badge 03 - The Possession Cup Badge 04 - 2 is better than 1 Badge 05 - World Cup Winner! Badge 06 - Golden Boot Winner! Badge 07 - 100 Million Quidders

All credit goes to @Scratch for creating this challenge. Intro Most of us here on Vibe have achieved total domination in the game: decades of winning the league, unbeatable in the Champions League, multiple World Cups. Let's face it - it's not that hard. Of course, most of us have achieved that when starting at a strong club. There's nothing wrong with that, but could you do it if you had to start at the very bottom? Could youwork your way up to becoming a superstar manager? Here's the deal: You've never been a professional player. You don't have any contacts in the game. You're unemployed, with no reputation at all. You've just got to knock on clubs' doors until one of them buys into your spiel about being an FMM legend and decides to give you a chance.Once your foot's in the door, you have to work your way up to the superstar manager event; eg: Do you have what it takes? If so, try to cement your place at the top of the leaderboard by getting there quickest (in game). But be warned: It's a long way to the top!. Notes To keep this fair, you must start with only England (all divisions) loaded. No shortcuts by getting a job in a lower division in a country with only a couple of divisions. You only get the event once, so if you are not starting from scratch, you will need to delete your game.cfg file. On Android, this is found in the Documents>Sports Interactive>Football Manager Mobile 2020>normal>cache folder. If someone can tell me where it is on iPhone, I'll add it here. You are allowed to change clubs if you like, but please note the definition of the Achievement: You need to be a club over 5 years to achieve it, so changing clubs will set you back. Rules You must chose a starting Reputation of Unknown and a Coaching Badge of None. You must load England only, with all divisions (Vanarama North/South). You must start unemployed. You can change clubs, but only within England obviously. NOTE: Changing clubs will delay the superstar manager event as discussed above. You can take an international job if you earn it, but you cannot start with it. Screenshots needed as evidence (a career here on Vibe is recommended): The Manager Profile screen immediately after starting The Manager History screen at the end of each season Screenshots of any job changes The "<Manager> celebrates managerial recognition" event (shown above) with the date achieved The Manager Profile screen immediately after the superstar manager event (Manager Points will be used as a tie breaker). No preferences/unlockables. No uses of text changes, save editor or IGE at all. No cheating or restarting. If requested you must upload your save so we can check no cheating has taken place via the save editor, failure to do this will result in you being rejected from the leader board. SI databases only. No Myclub or created players. Leaderboard (Quickest to Achieve Superstar Status) @Dai_ - May 28th, 2028 @DoneHisCruciate - May 1st, 2033 @StuartM - June 3rd, 2035

Hello Vibers. In the year 2004, a certain Portueguese magician was brought to manage a Chelsea team under Abramovich and was tasked to compete against the greatest teams in the land at that time Manchester United and Arsenal. Astonishingly he went on to win the league in his very first season in quite a remarkable fashion. That was Jose Mourinho. He went on to win the league while conceding only 15 goals and losing only 1 game. Many times fans and pundits call his football too defensive or even at times boring but one thing is for sure Jose is a serial winner. THE CHALLENGE Sir Alex was quoted once saying "Attack wins matches but defence wins titles" but how true is this. Lets find out. The challenge is to mange any team in one of the top 5 leagues in Europe {England...Spain ...France...Germany...Italy} and conceding the fewest goals in a season. You are allowed to bring in only 2 players through transfers. How points are distributed 0< 5 goals conceded....60 6<10 goals conceded...50 11<15goals conceded...40 16<20 goals conceded...30 21<25 goals conceded....20 26<30 goals conceded....10 31<35 goals conceded.....5 36<40 goals conceded....try again Additional points. Number of clean sheets multiplied by 2points Winning the league + 25 points. Hopefully whoever comes across this will take part and post results. Goodluck to whoever will take part. PS: it's a one season challenge and there will be a leaderboard too

(Credit and thanks to @FuddledFox for the logo) ‘Being FMMed’ is a phrase you hear a lot across Vibe. The Oxford English Dictionary officially states it is: ‘The act of dominating the opposing team, typically reflected by lots of shots, whilst transpiring to lose the game without scoring a goal.’ It’s one of the most frustrating issues with the game and one I imagine results in plentiful of smashed tablets and angry outbursts. So let’s make it an issue we can all ‘compete’ on. This challenge is a simple one: You must lose the game; You must score score no goals; It must be a league game; Your ‘score’ is your shots minus the opposition’s shots. For example if you take 20 shots and they take 10 then you will score 10; The leaderboard will be ordered by ‘score’, then ‘shots’. In the previous example your score is 10 and shots is 20. If someone else scores 10 but has 22 shots they will be ahead of you; The usual own formations, no cheating, etc, rules apply Just to keep things looking simple I will only record your highest score on the leaderboard. Thank you and good luck! Leaderboard @Rob - 31 (35) @Lagom - 23 (25) @Titjes - 11 (13)

Challenges Badge of Honour #2 - Park the Bus!
DanEnglish posted a topic in Football Manager 2023 Mobile
Intro This is the second badge in this year's 'Badges of Honour' series. The concept is expertly explained in @Titjes post <here> Challenge Some managers are famous for an ultra-defensive approach, a well-organized back line … for parking the bus. As a completely different challenge to the previous one - this badge is about conceding less goals, with a relegation candidate, in continental Europe, in a (less than) half-season challenge! Aim - to concede the least amount of goals possible (in the first 13 league games only) Club - choose ONE of these teams: Vfl Bochum (🇩🇪 Germany), or Brianza (🇮🇹 Italy) or Girona (🇪🇸 Spain). Note - all of these teams have Board expectations to “battle bravely against relegation” - so it won’t be easy. Duration - this is less than a half-season challenge, so it finishes after 13 league games (nice and short - so you're less likely to get fired!) In Spain + Italy, there should be exactly 13 league games before the World Cup (mid-Nov). In Germany, there should be 15 league games before the World Cup, so you'll need to finish 2 games before the World Cup, to have played 13 league games. This should be an interesting challenge to explore more defensive tactics + approaches! As this is only about conceding few league goals - note that (i) you don't need to win the matches, nor avoid relegation, and (ii) you can rest key players in the cups, to keep them fit for the domestic League games! Scoring To earn your “park the bus” badge, you need to concede one goal (or less) per game (league only) - within your first 13 league games (e.g. concede 13 goals or less, in those 13 league games). You should submit your total score (total number of league goals conceded) with a screenshot of the league table (showing your team!) on this post + then you will be added to the leaderboard. The fewer goals conceded, the higher your place on the leaderboard. If there is a tie (two Vibe players have the same score), then the tie-breaker is number of points from those 13 games (example - 20 points from 13 games is more impressive than 10 points after 13 games). Rules The same as last year: No unlockables (inc. no editor) No cheating (inc. no reloading) Own formations (that also means don’t steal a tactic and change one instruction) Any badge and reputation; Any database (if you want to attempt this after the winter 2022/23 data update) Transfers, loans, etc, allowed You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; For this specific challenge - it is acceptable to reload the new save to avoid any particularly challenging first 13 fixtures (e.g. to avoid playing Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico in your first 3 league games) Good luck! Leaderboard @Varf on fmm - ZERO goals conceded! 🔥 @Kanegan - only 8 conceded @Raven9 - only 10 conceded @Savelieff - only 11 conceded <> -
Intro: This is the third badge in this year's 'Badges of Honour' series. The concept is inspiringly explained in @Titjes post <here> Challenge: Can you ‘out-Pep’ Pep?! Can you beat the ex-Barcelona boss? Can you out-pass the passing-professionals?! In real life, Liverpool won the 2022 Community Shield, but only had ~40% of the ball against possession masters Man City. Can you do better - by both dominating possession AND winning Liverpool’s first cup of the season?! This is a one game challenge - taking charge of Liverpool, your challenge is to: both [A] maximise your possession % against Pep Guardiola's Man City in the 1st season’s Community Shield, plus [B] still winning the cup (in normal time, in extra time, or on penalties). note - no incoming transfers / loans frees of any kind - you must only use the existing Liverpool squad! This should be a fun & short challenge - with the opportunity to try new possession and pressing tactics. Scoring: To earn your "Possession Cup" badge, you need to manage Liverpool to [A] have at least 60% possession during the entire match, and [B] win the Community Shield - in normal time, extra time, or penalties. Results - you should submit your possession % (a screenshot of the match’s main screen) on this post + then you will be added to the leaderboard. Rank - the higher your possession %, the higher your position on the leaderboard. Deductions - any opposition red cards reduce your score by 5% - so 65% possession with one opposition red card gives you a 60% score (65%-5%). This means the leaderboard leader isn't someone who got lucky with 3 opposition red cards! Tie Breaker - if there is a tie (two Vibe players have the same possession %), then the primary tie-breaker is 'the more goals Liverpool had, the higher on the leaderboard'. If this is also equal, a secondary tie-breaker is the 'more shots on target, the higher on the leaderboard'. Winners - you must win! You can not get your badge nor a place on the leaderboard if you lose the cup (in normal time, in extra time, or on penalties). Rules: The same as last year, with two differences in bold below: No unlockables (inc. no editor) No cheating (but reloading is allowed ✅ for this one challenge) Own formations (that also means don’t steal a tactic and change one instruction) Any badge and reputation; Any database (if you want to attempt this after the winter 2022/23 data update) Any incoming transfers, loans, frees, etc, ❌ are not allowed (to keep it to the original Liverpool squad) You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; A note about re-loading. For this specific one-game challenge, it is acceptable ✅ to reload your save (including any friendlies & the Community Shield match) as many times as you wish. As it is unlikely you will both win the match AND have +60% possession in the Community Shield on your 1st attempt! Good luck! Leaderboard: @DoneHisCruciate - 73% possession! @Kanegan - 63% possession @Varf on fmm - 62% possession @Savelieff - 61% possession @Lagom - 58% = 63% minus 5% (due to one opposition red card) <>

I had an idea to play a realistic career and thought I'd turn it into a challenge to make it more fun (and difficult). I thought I'd post it here so you can all play along! The rules are simple RULES 1. No Rich Benefactor 2. Must Use Budgets in First Window 3. Must Use Attribute Masking 4. Must Have Transfer Windows, Loan Restrictions and Work Permits 5. No Becoming Unsackable 6. Must Have at least Home Nation and England Loaded 7. Must Start Unemployed 8. Must be Unknown with No Coaching Badge 9. First Job Must be within a 50 mile Radius of Your Home (can move from home club after first season) 10. Must NOT Rebuild Whole Team in First Season, this Applies for all New Teams you Manage (a real manager isn't likely to do this) 11. Can ONLY Sign Players your Scouts Recommend 12. No Jumping from First Job to Top League, Even if you get Offered the Job (in real life you wouldn't be offered a top team job without at least 5 seasons experience) You have 30 years to build a great career. I have thought of a couple of MUST HAVE goals to make it a challenge. MUST be promoted 5 times or more MUST win 3 league titles in a nation thats not your home (Premier League doesn't count as its a seperate goal) MUST win 2 cups in a nation thats not your home (Premier League doesn't count) MUST win the Premier League at least 5 times MUST manage a Nation in the World Cup MUST win the FA cup 3 times or more MUST win the Club World Cup 1 time or more MUST win the Champions League 2 times or more MUST win a double in any nation (league title plus main trophy) (Bonuses aren't required but give you extra bragging rights) BONUS if you win the Premier League with a team below the Premier League ( you MUST be the manager who promotes them) BONUS if you develop a wonderkid who gets valued at over $80,000,000 BONUS if you win the Europa League with a non league team BONUS if you win the World Cup BONUS if you win the Premier League more than 5 times in a row BONUS if you win a domestic treble in England BONUS if you win a continental treble Hoping to get feedback as it's my first creation of a challenge, is it too easy? Too hard? Hopefully it's not too difficult and you all have fun playing the challenge! Look forward to seeing your progress!

Intro: This is the fifth badge in this year's 'Badges of Honour' series. The concept is explained in @Titjes inspirational post <here>. Breaking News: Two similar ‘international management’ badges are being released at the same time - this badge plus a 'Golden Boot' badge. You can choose to attempt both badges in one save, or in different save games. You can see the other badge <here>. Challenge: With 32 nations competing in the 2022 World Cup - some are performing well, some not, but only one nation (+ one manager) can become the ‘Winner!’. This is an ‘international management’ challenge, lasting for a half-season until the end of the 2022 World Cup. Your challenge is simple - to WIN the World Cup with any nation. The worse the nation you select, the more difficult it will be, and the higher your leaderboard ranking. This should be a fun challenge - to manage a nation (not a club!) in the biggest matches on a global stage. Then you can start a new save managing a nation from day one 👍 Scoring: To earn your "World Cup Winner!" badge, you need to - unsurprisingly - WIN the 2022 World Cup. Results - you should submit screenshots of your 'World Cup Final' match result + a news item (which states you won the world cup), then you will be added to the leaderboard. Rank - the worse ranked your nation, the higher your position on the leaderboard. As it’s more difficult to win the World Cup with Qatar (worth 31 points), than it is with Brazil (worth 1 point). See ‘badge rankings’ list below. Tie Breaker - if there is a tie (e.g. two Vibe players win the World Cup with Brazil), then the primary tie-breaker is how many goals your nation scored in the final (the more the better), then if needed the number of shots, then possession, in the final. Nation Rankings (for this badge's leaderboard) Rules: The same as last year - with one addition: ❌ no club mgmt - you must only manage a nation, you can NOT manage a club at any point before/during the World Cup. Good luck! Leaderboard: @Dai_ - Ghana / 30 points 🔥🔥🔥 (previously won with Serbia / 17 points) @Legend288 - USA / 14 points (previously won with Portugal / 9 points) @Savelieff - Uruguay/ 13 points @FuddledFox - Holland / 8 points @DoneHisCruciate - England / 7 points (previously won with France / 4 points) @Aortic - England / 7 points @Savelieff - France / 4 points

Challenges Badge of Honour #4 - 2 is better than 1
Titjes posted a topic in Football Manager 2023 Mobile
Intro: This is the fourth badge in this year's 'Badges of Honour' series. The concept is explained <here>. Challenge: What is twice as good as scoring a goal? Scoring a brace! Where one player scores TWO goals in a game. England legend Shearer once scored 10 braces in one league season. Legendary attackers Ronaldo + Messi lead the charts for most competitive braces. So can you become a legend - can you perform even better than Shearer, Ronaldo and Messi?! This is a one-season challenge, where you pick ANY club in a 38 game league (e.g. most leagues with 20 clubs). Your challenge is to score as many braces, with as many players, in those 38 league games. Example - if you win your opening league game 5-0, with two of your players scoring a brace (two goals each) - then that counts as TWO braces. If you win the next game 6-0, with your striker scoring all 6 goals, that only counts as ONE brace. This should be a fun challenge - to get many of your squad scoring braces! Scoring: To earn your "2 goals are better than 1" badge, you need to double Shearer’s record - scoring at least 20 braces, with any number of players, across a 38 game league season. Results - you should submit screenshots of each brace (each match’s main screen) + a total on this post + then you will be added to the leaderboard. Rank - the higher your number of braces, the higher your position on the leaderboard. Tie Breaker - if there is a tie (two Vibe players have the same amount of braces), then the tie-breaker is 'who had the highest possession in their brace matches (highest will count), the higher on the leaderboard'. Rules: No unlockables (inc. no editor) No cheating (inc. no reloading) Own formations (that also means don’t steal a tactic and change one instruction) Any badge and reputation; Any database (if you want to attempt this after the winter 2022/23 data update) Transfers are allowed ✅ You can attempt the challenge multiple times, but only your top score will be on the leaderboard; Good luck! Leaderboard: @Lagom - 32 @DoneHisCruciate - 31 @Kun Aguero - 29 @Kanegan - 20 -
• The PAC-MAN Challenge • A true all-time classic from the 1980s that just transcends all generations. Loved and still played by the young and the old, it was only a matter of time before I figured out a way to best mimic the essence of PAC-MAN into our world of FMM. There's a little tiny twist here tho, we're keeping our enemies close but these funky colorful ghosts even closer. We are taking full advantage of their behavioral patterns and they have no clue we're turning their vicious attacks into points! This 1-season challenge is going to test your tactical expertise, your scouting skills as well as your ability to get the best out of your chosen squad. The Players Upon examining the little funny walks these buggers do, we notice that the red one chases you wherever you go, the pink one just sit there and does what it does - over and over again, the blue one sets itself up for a killer blow and the orange one... well, nobody ever knows where he ends up drifting about. The FMM translation goes: Red Ghost - Ball Winning Midfielder Pink Ghost - Anchor Blue Ghost - Shadow Striker Orange Ghost - Trequartista The PAC-MAN Challenge Rules Manage any team of choice in any league or any division Buy/Loan your 4 'ghosts' - they can NOT be at the club already NO unlockables - Yes Badges and additional transfers The 4 'ghosts' are TIED to their player roles at all times in all games Create a formation which MUST include 1 Anchor, BWM, SS and Treq Post screenshots of the 4 ghosts + created formation Play ONE full season - the 2022 / 2023 season only Score = assists + goals of 4 ghosts in ALL competitions (except ITN) Leaderboard 1. 147 pts - Mr B (Porto) 2. 109 pts - EmEs (PSG) 3. 108 pts - Cockers2505 (Liverpool) 4. 97pts - Savelieff (Bayern) 5. 88pts - BatiGoal (Leipzig) 6. 7.

The 1000 Goal Challenge The simple ones are the best! Have a player score 1,000 goals and more in one epic career. The Rules You can manage any club in any league. Player can be real or regen. No preferences/unlockables unless unlocked in the save. No uses of text changes, save editor or IGE at all. No cheating - Restarting to avoid injuries counts as cheating!! International goals count, but only the ones scored in game and under your own management of that nation. So real life goals the player starts on don't count. You have to earn international management, so you can not start with it. A career can be posted but screenshots are needed as evidence. If requested you must upload your save so we can check no cheating has taken place via the save editor, failure to do this will result in you beingrejected from the leader board. Own formations only SI databases only No Myclub or created players Leaderboard

You don't have to drink it. Let's see who can get their player to play as long as possible. Different Categories for different position, providing assist, scoring goal, getting red card, actually improve etc. Whatever ya like. Idk if it's common one or not but I thought it'll be fun little challange among intense ones. Good luck if anyone's actually gonna try.

A repost from 2019 - is 1000 goals too easy? How about we increase the difficulty a couple notches? Read .. - The Big Six 1KC - The 1KC: arguably the most popular challenge on Vibe today, but things can get very tedious and at times even too easy by staying loyal to 1 club. Loyalty is adorable and I'm sure we've all managed a Big Six team before, but how many of us can actually say they've managed all 6 in a single career? I haven't. Quite frankly never had any reason to either. The 1KC twist: Move from club to club in no particular order and have ONE player score at least 167 gls for each of EPL's Top-6 teams and reach a min. total of 1002 goals! I expect no wage demand related issues so clearly the difficulty lies in the fact that you and your player are to switch clubs 5! times. This costs very precious time - > time equals goals. You wanted a challenge?? If this ain't your cup of tea then this isn't the right challenge for you and I suggest you stick to a regular 1KC. In numerical terms: 167 gls - Arsenal 167 gls - Chelsea 167 gls - Liverpool 167 gls - Man City 167 gls - Man Utd 167 gls - Tottenham + 1002 gls - Total gls The Challenge: Regular 1KC rules apply Score 167+ gls per club Do all clubs in ANY order 1002+ gls with ONE player Have fun & Goodluck! 👍 The Big Six 1KC Leaderboard

A repost from 2017 - hopefully there's interested souls to attempt this challenge I created. It's really challenging and fun, and as far as I know I'm the only one who's given it a (failed) go. Failed but made the scoreboard nonetheless 👍 here goes.. The Strikers' Striker Challenge You are right, the boys up there are in fact playmakers of the highest order and not your typical striker, but don't they look an awesome bunch? But more importantly, just like the misleading title, I am always thrilled to make people believe -Vibers in particular- that they are going to have an opportunity to manage FMM's finest stars when they are totally not. Quite the contrary actually -evil laughter- anyways... I present you my first of hopefully many FMM18 challenges to come. It is not a complicated challenge per se but it *will* test your tactical, strategical and man-management skills over a duration of at least 5 seasons. What formation are you going to play to get the most out of your not-so-greatly talented stars? How will you tweak the training to accommodate these non-stars? Have you given your worthless player enough rest inbetween games to excel when it matters? How does your squad react when you favor a godawful striker over a seasoned one, and how do you? What minimal qualities does your hopeles hero need to possess to be able to complete the upcoming insanity anyway? Questions and more questions you as the manager will need to find answers to. If you fail to complete any of the stages you may re-play them as often as you need before progressing onto the next one. Play the full 30 seasons to get a bigger total score if you like, or just the 5 to quickly note your name on the leaderboard for everyone to see. There are a couple of rules though but we get to those once I present The Strikers' Striker Challenge first. The Challenge Objectives: Load any nations in any order you like, one of which must however be the English one, and select your preferred EPL club. You're going to embark on a journey taking 1 (forward) player with you from each of the lower English divisions per season, each increasing in difficulty as you go. For this challenge I have chosen to focus on goals scored in the Premier League only. This in order to have a gradual increase in difficulty and at the same time measuring your "weakening / less talented" striker Vs striker per stage against (near) identical opponents in the English top division. Stage 1 will see you score a minimum of 50 league goals with a striker bought from a Championship club. Stage 2 the exact same but this time with a striker bought from a League One side. Stage 3 with a player from League Two, and Stages 4 and 5 with one from Vanarama National and Vanarama North/South respectively. See below: Stage 1 - score 50+ EPL goals with a Championship player Stage 2 - score 50+ EPL goals with a League One player Stage 3 - score 50+ EPL goals with a League Two player Stage 4 - score 50+ EPL goals with a Vanarama National player Stage 5 - score 50+ EPL goals with a Vanarama North/South player The Challenge Rules: No unlockables incl. SD, no IGE or reloading etc. Coaching Badges ARE allowed. The 5 stages must be completed in order of difficulty (1 to 5) and may last no more than 1 season each. Take as many attempts per stage as you need but a new player must be used for every new attempt and/or stage. Your chosen player must score 50+ league goals in 1 season before you may move on to the next stage. When buying a player, all teams in that specific league count, also newly promoted/relegated ones. Post a career for us to follow in order to be eligible for the leaderboard. Have fun Leaderboard: (best scores from all stages, including the last/failed stage) - here's my attempt: 236 pts : career post
